My name is ***** ******** I live In Georgetown DE, I was Arrested on Jan 22 2024 for a violation of Parole, and the Judge put a $9000 cash bail on me. My wife went to A&E Bail Bonds on Jan 23rd 2024, and gave them 28% of the $9000 that came to $2781. On Jan 25th 2024 Probation called me out of my cell and told my Bail has been posted but I'm not getting out because they have to put a GPS ankle bracelet on me, and there are none available. My court Date was scheduled for Feb 9th and the Judge sentenced me to 30 VOP, Violation of Parole. So from Feb 9th to Mar 2nd I stayed Locked up. I never Bailed out, My Lawyer knew I posted Bail and never Bailed out said your due A Refund for $2,781. I called the office multiple times telling them the situation, and they agreed I was due a Refund, but they have to do an Investigation and will be In touch with me. On March 14th I called them again and the Office told me they got the $9000 back and the court told them I never Bailed out, so the person in charge told me she would send me only $2000 back of the $2781 for fees and other cost! I said what are you Talking about? $800 in fees? The person in charge told me They are making no money on this, we are sorry but that's the story. I said that's outrageous! They charged my wife $81 dollars for using her Debit card, now they are Charging me another $700 dollars more in fees? Com'on Something is wrong, no way should I have to pay all that money in Fees and costs, They got all there money back why shouldn't I get Mine. I want the $781 dollars back, they only sent me $2000 back. Please find out if they are Entitled to this kind of Fees and Costs, I think this is very unreasonable. We are talking about $781 here. Thank you
