I am contacting the BBB due to Liberty Concrete & Enhancements LLC failure to return repeated text messages/phone calls. My contracted job is incorrect and incomplete. I have security camera video & text messages available for everything I am stating in this complaint.

I contacted Liberty Concrete & scheduled an estimate on 4/24/25. Jackie came to our home & an estimate was emailed 4/30/25 for $3302.82. I texted 5/5/25, w/ questions. Liberty immediately called, we discussed, revised contract was sent. The contract increased to $3525.12 due to 26' of concrete being overlooked by Liberty.
The contract consisted of 3 specific work areas:
    French drain 31'x12"
    Tear out/concrete a cracked 12'x5' section
    Excavate/pour 43' curb.
I signed the revised contract 5/8/25 & paid a partial deposit of $1762.56.

    Work started 5/19/25.
Cracked portion: Instead of the 12'x5' section of concrete being replaced, they cut a 4'x4' section
French drain: A single cut 31', 5" from my foundation. Leaving a 5" trench for the drain not the contracted 12". I told a worker this was incorrect, told they would secure the drain w/ caulk, I complained, told they would grout, contract states to be concreted in
43' curb: nonexistent. A 5' footer was dug instead
Workers left at 2pm, I texted at 3:30 & questioned the work prep

Next day: I questioned the prep work, ****** did not read the contract or he blatantly chose to
ignore it. Either way, questioning him results in extremely aggressive and belligerent behavior. I was berated, called a "xx", ****** beat his chest & yelled "I'm a man, capital M-A-N". I retreated to the house. Our cameras then recorded him continually belittling me to his workers the reminder of the afternoon. One example of many "unless you guys want to take me upstairs & xx me, leave me alone- unless you want to suck a xx, leave the man alone"

We do not feel comfortable with ****** on our property given his aggressive, belligerent & sexual comments and behavior.

Our company was contracted to replace a cracked section of the driveway, footer & cutout concrete & installation of a drain. day(1 We promptly completed the drain & preparation for the new concrete & footer. Day 2) was no issue until the concrete truck arrived the homeowner started to argue amongst one another about what they need was a curb NOT a footer that h.o. Laura had  contracted us for, once I agreed with her wife I was belittled and disrespected. I thought I was the issue so I left the crew to complete the work we agreed to, since Laura thought we should do a 12” curb for the cost of the 3’ footer we contracted to do. So to eliminate issues Our Crew including having our most experienced Forman Kyle W. Stayed to complete work BUT the h.o. ***** ******* & her wife continued to belittle my entire crew not limited to but saying comments about Men & our incompetence and how God should eliminate us all. After numerous calls around 3:20pm we had the guys clean up everything & clear out for the day until we could have Jackie talk to them the next morning. She proceeded to call the owner at 5am which continued her rants & disrespectful attitude towards him. We have a responsibility to provide a safe & productive workplace to our crews. Not to mention we all deserve Respect.

I made the mistake of contracting this company to pour a 25'x18' monolithic slab (concrete pad) for a steel building. It wasn't apparent initially, but one of the owners ****** ******* does not handle controversy well, he resorts to threats, name calling and vulgar language. E.g. The first footing inspection failed. I call ****** to let him know the Sussex County inspector had just left and failed the footing inspection. ****** went off on a tangent with his threats, name calling, and vulgar language like it was my fault his work failed inspection. Once the concrete pad was poured and they removed the forms I measured the pad. It turns out he can't read a tape measure either. The pad was 2.5" short of 25' and was 1/4" short of 18' in the rear and 1/2" over 18' in the front. I called the steel building manufacture to make sure it was ok that the pad was short 2.5", I was willing to accept that if they approved. They told me as long as it was square. ****** measured the pad for square and said it was within 1/16". I paid ****** and he left. After about an hour i was thinking how can this pad be square with the front and rear measurements being 3/4" difference. I measured it myself and once again proving ****** can't read a tape measure the pad was out 2 full inches. I decided to then check the level of the pad, and it was out 5/8" from front to back and 3/8" from left to right. I tried calling ****** and got no answer, I then sent him a text and once again ****** shows off his intelligence level and professionalism by name calling and vulgar language. See attached text messages. The steel building manufacture was able to fit the building on the pad however I will need to have some landscaping done around the building to hide the imperfections of the siding and trim due to the pad being so far out of square. The cost is approx. 1500.00, ****** offered 250.00 refund but that won't even cover the cost of the shrubs let alone installing them.

Unfortunately, we have found that some people you will never make happy. They will lie & extort great Contractors who give their all. **** and ***** ****** chose us based off our reviews, Public Relations, & Workmanship, which we’ve effectively been given the nickname ‘Liberty Neighbor’. We literally offered to do all we possibly could, even offering to pay and yes even install the bushes, which were already part of the ******’s drawings, but they demanded 1/2 of their money returned, or they’d be ruining our business. Furthermore, the ******’s have went on to 7 other platforms to lie with an attempt to embarrass, which is a continuance of the name calling for which we will not mention… But yes ****, I’m working on my weight, Sir.  I’d also like to state that we passed our first and only inspection on 9/13/24. We built the pad to exact specs. It’s a shame their allegations won’t be investigated by an outside entity (ie: the texts not being transparent & complete.) However, it is up to the Court of Public Opinion to decide, for which I am Proud of our reputation, & we will continue to build Quality Products for this beautiful community that we are so proud to be a part of.

In response to your comments on this. Perhaps before you call anyone a liar why don't you take a look at the text between us from the original complaint with you admitting to your fault, the proposed completed structure as submitted to Sussex County, and also the failed first footing inspection which you claim didn't happen. As far as the name calling the text clearly show who actually was the name caller and shows how you twist things. There were no lies on any forum (actually 4 not 7 including the BBB). Robert, this has gone on far to long, maybe instead of wasting your energy in trying to discord our honest review about the work you have done for us, you should own your mistakes and move on. We have owned our mistake of not doing a vigorous search to review your business before hiring you. Going forward we certainly will not hire any contractor without first doing an extensive search of reviews. I also invite anyone from the BBB to come out and see your mistakes and what had to be done to make it aesthetically correct.
