      Twice in one week our power was off. No explanation, bogus announcements that the power will back on in 2 hours then it’s 4 hours, etc. Both outages happened during nice days and it wasn’t a car accident. Both times they were off over 6 hours!!!!

      We ended our account June 29 & moved out of state. Ending bill was only 130! They sent me to COLLECTIONS within a month. DUMB DUMB DUMB. To pay a debt company to take a 130 debt is beyond comprehension. Just another reason we moved out of Maryland. Delmarva was bought out by another company less than a year ago. They care less about their customers.

      This company is an absolute rip off. Our bill has $235 in fees off the top of any usage which is added in after that cost! They need to be investigated and a class action suit should be set forth for all their customers that they are ripping off. Something really needs to be done and I’ll be looking into it. They come to ur home to do repairs and toss their broken tool on YOUR PROPERTY AND LEFT IT THERE. All caught on my camera. Found it this morning!!! No respect for other peoples property and the clip will be sent in..

      This company is unbelievable. I had 10 years of paying on time at Georgia power in Atlanta, Georgia and sent them the letter so they waived the deposit. So after 9 months of living in Delaware I moved to another area after paying them 9 months on time. Now because I have a new account, They are charging me a deposit even though i sent them the letter from Georgia power and paid them on time for 9 months. I asked to speak to a manager and they would not let me. Terrible terrible customer service and my credit score is well over 800. And I read every single explanation on why I would have to pay a deposit and I did not fall under any of the categories. They are terrible, terrible company that lies. And not to mention, I called four different times and every time there was a different answer. If I could give them zero stars I would give them zero stars.

      They charge exorbitant prices.. blowing the roof off with sky high bills.. 300$ 1 month and the next month 600$ double the charge when there wasnt double the usage... the month was no different then the previous month.. you'd think we were powering a power station! Unreal!

      Delmarva is absolutely the trashiest company. They hire trash people, they send out trash bills overcharging customers. Honestly if any company disappeared from the face of the planet never to return I hope it is Delmarva Power. What we pay during winter is absolutely ridiculous almost three times the going rate from where we moved from.
      Delmarva is trash.

      This is so Sad that Delmarva power can charge people all this money for gas when people not using gas like they say you are or think but my thing is don’t think what’s going on in my house & nothing be done if people are complaining about the same thing when is the problem gonna get resolved They are over over charging people my bill was $173.85 jump to $320 now $385.64 come on now this is so sad on they behalf, I need something to be done about this please BBB help with this mess. My meter stay on 72 for my heat & I don’t cook every day I’m gone all day. My bill is doubled the amount that it’s been

      My name is Tiffany Kirkland account ending I 1647 I own a property in Newcastle Delaware, Delmarva power is a fraud, they claim if you install solar panels you receive 8,000 rebate check well I installed my solar panels through orbit (which is a bogus company as well) on 7/22/22 and I still haven't received anything, I was told by orbit the form had been submitted back in July of 2022, but every time I call Delmarva no one has a clue about anything and orbit says I now need another audit done on my property (which btw an audit was done before the panels were installed) to receive the 8K, and Delmarva power has to nerve to send me a shut off notice for $495.00 when they owe me $8,000. This is false advertisement they need be sued for this, in my opinion orbit has joined with Delmarva power to scam people and make money for themselves, this should not be allowed I'm going to look into getting a lawyer and see what my options are

      I had solar panels installed by a company in February this year. Then, on March 7, I received a call from Green Power (Delmarva solar Department in NJ). They left a message staying that the solar panels were good to go and that the meter for solar panels had been installed. Well, I began receiving bills every month from delmarva up to now. In June, I thought this was strange that my bills were still coming with an amount over 200 to pay. Why was I still paying bills if the solar panel company representative had told me that I would be looking at the benefit of having solar panels, but I was not seeing anything. So I got upset and called both companies because when I called Delmarva, they would tell me that the meters were changed and that it was the solar panel company that was not complying. Then I would call that company and they would tell me that it was Delmarva. I had felt like a tennis ball back an forth with this situation. I finally got the meter changed by Delmarva on July 27, but I am still receiving bills. They do not want to reimburse me the money I paid during these months and the solar panel company representative now is helping with calling Delmarva to get reimbursed or get them fix this problem because the energy that my solar panels are producing is more than enough to get a 0 dollar bill, and I should be selling energy. I hope some people can see this and be ready if they go solar and have services with Delmarva. I am still waiting for this company to find out why the meter was exchanged in July and not at the beginning of March. I also hope the company managers can read this message and respond to me quickly.
