I have a Chase Credit Card. I am attempting to pay my bill online. I went to the assigned website of www.chase/amazon to pay the bill, thinking it would be a quick and easy debit card transfer. Nope.

They want me to set up an account. This is almost expected but odd to me to pay a bill.

They wanted me link my bank account with this new online account . The account I use is technically a checking account but I don't use checks. To set up the link, I had to have the routing number from the bottom of a check. I did not have that information so I had to call my bank. I logged out of this newly created account while calling my bank. After some basic security questions, my bank provided the routing number.

When I tried to log back into my Chase account off the same computer I had just created it, Chase responded by saying it didn't recognize the device I was using. They wanted me to verify through a text message to a phone number I didn't recognize. I had just given them my phone number but that was not the phone number they wanted to send a code to. It also didn't allow for an alternate means of accessing the account.

Today, I went to the closest Chase bank branch (about 15 miles from my house). They were able to clear the phone numbers assigned to my account and put the proper one in their place. They still were unable to take the payment from debit card without a bank officer, which none were available. I left thinking I should be able to do everything online.

I logged into the account with my computer. It immediately wanted me to call customer service to get a code. The woman from customer service was polite but had such a thick accent, I had to ask her to repeat almost everything. I entered the code which allowed access to the account so I could link my account with my bank. Then it said it couldn't link the account until they made some test deposits and withdrawals. This would take 1-2 business days.

I have yet to pay the bill...

Regarding my Marriott Boundless credit card.
I was offered 3 bonus free nights + 100K bonus night after completion of $3000 purchase in 3 months during signup.
After $3000 purchase, I only got 3 free nights and did not get 100K bonus points.
When I called the customer care, they are saying that they donot see the offer in their end.
I can see clearly similar offer was available online 6 months back.
Now, I lost valuable 100K points.

Paid off account. Before I paid off, I called for exact amount, with interest and everything PERIOD!
So I paid off the amount they told me.
A month later, I am billed for “residual” interest.
Chase rep failed to give the exact amount.
Chase refuses to admit the employee qouted me with wrong amount!
Bloody thieves…they belong in jail. Talk about ripping off the consumer!!!
Never ever so business with Chase again!!!

I received a chase credit preapproval in the mail. I Applied in April with credit over 840. I never get rejected for anything. a while later I call up and eventually I get a letter asking me to verify identity, which I promptly do. Never got any kind of response. I call a few week later and I'm told it was rejected without explanation. after voicing my complaints I'm told they will try again and I'll receive a response within 2 weeks. They don't contact me whatsoever. I call again a few weeks later and I'm told that I was rejected because my identity verification doesn't meet their standards(despite the fact that it's standard verification that I used for my mortgage). They could have told me. it would have been very easy to provide different documentation. They also told me that despite the fact that they never responded to me with an approval or denial, that my application expired. I'm a tier one applicant that should have received an instant approval. this is insane!!

Ask customer service to listen to the recorded conversation; they can’t do it. I told the customer service guy to listen to the recording; he said it was broken. A lawsuit needs to be slapped on this company. I would love to know if they have my last conversation I had a few months ago with a customer service agent. False advertisement.

Chase venture customers service stinks! They don’t help you they hang up or take the criminals side? I called about a Central Park ride only an hour n half and got 700.00 bill? Then he added a 250.00 tip illegally! So they gave this company the money? Yes 950.00$ out of my bank account! So much for fraud on both sides!!!

**May Statement**: - You spent $51, and Autopay paid the balance in full ($51). No issues here; the account was settled. 2. **June Statement**: - You spent $47, and Autopay credited that in full. Additionally, a $5 credit was added to satisfy the identical $51 credit from May. .3. **Identical Credits Issued**: - You mention Chase issued an identical credit in both May and June, with odds of "1,000,000 to 1 against." This suggests an unusual or erroneous credit (possibly the $5 credit in June?). Without specifics, it’s unclear what this credit was for, but it could be related to a promotion, error, or adjustment. 4. **Chase Caught the Error**: - Chase identified an issue with the credits. This might mean they realized the credit(s) were applied incorrectly or shouldn’t have been issued, which could affect later statements. 5. **July Statement**: - You spent $640, but the statement shows a $47 unpaid balance, totaling $687 owed. - The $47 matches the June spending amount, which suggests a possible error where the June balance wasn’t fully cleared by Autopay or was misreported. 6. **Unpaid Balance Despite Autopay**: - You question how there’s an unpaid balance when Autopay is set to pay in full each month. Chase’s explanation is an "Amazon credit" that appeared on the July statement. If you don’t accept that explanation, then I surmise Chase did indeed credit you $51 in both May and June. 7. **Dispute and Credit Score Impact**: - You refused to pay the $47 unpaid balance until Chase admitted the error, and they did not. - As a result, Chase reported the account as unpaid, leading to a "Major Derogatory Account" mark on your credit report, dropping your FICO score from 822 to 622.- A 200-point drop is significant and suggests a serious delinquency report (.The "Amazon credit" and the $47 unpaid balance suggest a possible misapplication of credits or a failure in the Autopay system. next step is small claims court. I come to bury Chase, not praise them.

Chase Southwest Reward Card application is a big JOKE! Ask people to apply on line, but don't give people enough time to read the fine print!
You get a "F" from me personally!!!
