1 starI have a MileagePlus United Airlines card with them. These thieves want to charge a $95.00 yearly fee. I called to cancel the account because I have not used it in many years. And I can not afford the fee. They won't waive the fee. They want to pay $95.00 and then close the account. This is poor customer service. They want to charge me for a card I already explained I won't be using. It's all about the greed. It's all about the money. I will no longer do business with them! Oh by the way they don't deserve any star.Review fromKelly M

1 starDidn’t give me my money back for a dispute which I was never able to speak to any agent from Booking.com so that’s why I called Chase for help and they still charged me.Review fromDaniel O

1 starThese people are thieves pure and simple. I tried to send a wire from my bank to account holder at chase. the account number was 1 digit off so the wire was returned. simple enough.
However, chase toook a $50 fee from the rejected wire. They took $50 dollars from me, without a single dollar ever hitting a chase account. In trying to get my money back, I talked to 4 different support reps who did not understand even basic online banking principles and kept transferring me to a different general support rep after telling me they were getting me to the right dept. whot then asked the same questions and had the same misunderstandings. I have to imagine that this a deferral strategy on chase's end.
Eventually I drove to a local location and spoke in person to the team there. They also seemed incapable of finding the wire transaction (something which I imagine must be common place occurrence for a bank of this scale). Eventually they reached out to an escalation point of contact, who told them that it's not in their policy to return this money. I requested to speak to this gentleman and I could hear him over their phone say no.
This is a business of criminals. They take monthly fees from peoples account for doing nothing and combine intentionally shitty customer service with predatory practices. I'm sure the actuarial data makes this a profitable strategy. They are simultaneously the scum of the earth and everyone should know THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. Don't bank here, don't open a line of credit here. In fact, don't even send your money to someone who is a chase bank account member, because you will not get it back if there is any issue.Review fromLorene B

1 starChase Bank perpetuates a system of big business has the right to take your money regardless of the circumstances might cause harm or irreparable damage to the person or his life. I was delinquent on my Visa card and Chase Bank wanted me to pay $366.00 which I told them I was unable to pay at this time; I told the bank that I would $200.00 by November 22, 2024. I thought that was the plan to follow; I was able to pay the $200.00 on November 21, 2024. I checked my account on November 22, 2024, Chase Bank had taken another $200.00 plus $366.00 which the bank wanted in the first place. I called the bank and voiced my complaint; now the bank has $766.00 of my money. The bank didn’t seem to care about taking my money without authorization. Eventually, the bank refunded my money. On December 19, the bank went into my account and took the $366.00 and $200.00 against.Visa card did refund me $400.00 and kept the $366.00. There is no resolution to the problem and no one seems to care. I’m now in the process of finding a reputable company to take my building loan and leaving Chase for good. No real solution for this issue!Review fromRam G

1 starI was traveling internationally with my family, including an infant, and encountered difficulties booking tickets online due to restrictions involving infant travel. As a result, I contacted Chase Travel’s helpline to book tickets. During the call, the agent presented flight options, and I chose Etihad Airways as the least expensive option. However, at no point during the booking process was I explicitly informed that the tickets purchased did not include checked baggage—a critical oversight on Chase Travel’s part. On the day of travel, I arrived at the airport with nine bags, only to discover that I would need to pay $1,800 for luggage that I naturally assumed was covered. This unexpected expense was devastating.
Eescalation manager dismissively suggested that I “should have contacted the airline within 24 hours to confirm the baggage policy,” disregarding the immense stress and time constraints I faced while planning an international trip with an infant. The supervisor’s admission that “the baggage information may not have been visible to the agent while booking” further underscores Chase Travel’s incompetence. How can customers make informed decisions if even the booking agents lack complete information?
This entire experience has caused immense stress and financial strain. Traveling with an infant is already challenging, and Chase Travel’s failure to communicate essential details exacerbated an already difficult situation. I would never knowingly book international tickets without baggage allowance, and it is both insulting and absurd for Chase Travel to suggest otherwise.
I trusted Chase with my travel needs, and they failed me at every step. I urge you to take swift and decisive action to address this matter and prevent other customers from enduring similar mistreatment.
Thank you for your attention. I expect a prompt resolution to my complaint and look forward to your response.
Sincerely,Review fromKassandra F

1 starI signed up for Chase Rapid Rewards on the Southwest website when I was booking a flight to California. I signed up for the deal of 50k points if I spent $1000 within the first 3 months. I easily met the requirements and spent thousands of dollars within the first 3 months. I went to use my points to book a flight to Disneyland, only to find i never received them. I've contacted them multiple times and keep getting the run around. They say my account has been open too long to qualify. It's been open since May, however, that's irrelevant when the issue is they never have me the bonus I signed up for. The age of my account has nothing to do with the fact they did not do their jobs correctly and did not apply my points. I'm going to have to look into contacting a lawyer for their breach of contract. This is ridiculous. I'm also going to have to move ALL my money and cancel all my cards, as well as my husband and mothers accounts because I do not want my money going to a shady establishment that does not follow through on their end.Review fromMichael Y

1 starRepresentatives gave me misleading information regarding the Pay Over Time feature on one my Chase credit cards. After speaking with multiple **** I spoke to a specialist name ******. When he was unable to resolve my issue I asked to speak to a supervisor and he refused. I politely asked over 10 times to speak to a supervisor. He told me he would not transfer me and that he would end the call if I did not have any other questions. In the end he hung up on me without allowing me to speak to a supervisor. This is how they treat a customer of almost 20 years.Review fromC. T

1 starI called the dispute number to file a dispute on my credit card but was declined by this Indian guy who is CHASE phone representative. He refused to let me file a dispute despite the fact that I have evidence to back my case. I have never met such a rude and arrogant agent from CHASE. I would like the upper management to take note on who they hire to represent the bank. This call experience was bad and I believe this person should not be working for the bank if he does not have to patience nor empathy to understand a customer issue.Review fromFreddy R

2 starsChase uses misleading advertising for their Chase Rewards,
1- travel rewards: they say you receive 10 points x$ spent if you book hotels using their website to book reservation. After checking and for my surprise, I have booked several reservations but none have honor bonus points. Contacted their customer support service for assistance because I thought it was a mistake, waste of time. The poor agents are not even trained properly, they read a script and nothing happens, they tell you to wait because it takes up to 2 cycles. Well after two cycles, they don’t know what happened or how to fix it.
2- shopping through Chase: similar as above. They award bonus points for buy online using their website. for about. 33% of your transactions, the system recognizes the purchase, it is recorded in their dashboard but no points are awarded. Agents are clueless how it works, so if you reach out to them similar story as above.
If you pay a premium for their reserve credit ($450 per year fee), you would expect better service and live up to expectations of what they advertised. Guess again, you can only use or collect few of the benefits they claim you get when you sign up for it and feel lucky if things go thru. But they are happy to take your money away to renew every year.Review fromJulie M

1 starMy husband passed away and I called to tell them after a week. I had sent a check of what I thought was the payoff amount but it was $300 over the balance. The card was canceled since he was the primary and I was secondary. I was fine with that but I was not fine with being belittled and treated almost like a thief because I asked for the overpaid amount back. It took several months for them to give the money back. I was depressed because my husband died, but their agents sent me to an even darker place by how they treated me on the phone. I will never get a Chase account and tell others of the event so they steer clear of this company.
