On 10/18 l sent back a statement that read "ACCEPTED FOR VALUE Redeemed In Lawful Money Pursuant to 12 U.S.C. § 411. All credits and debits must be settled and discharged in lawful money. I demand full discharge of this obligation in lawful money.
Public Debt Obligation under 31 U.S.C § 5118(a)(2).". I signed and included a Federal Reserve Note with serial number G52240282A. The payment transaction was on 10/22 and posted 10/23.

On 11/02 l sent back a statement that read "ACCEPTED FOR VALUE Redeemed In Lawful Money Pursuant to 12 U.S.C. § 411. All credits and debits must be settled and discharged in lawful money. I demand full discharge of this obligation in lawful money.
Public Debt Obligation under 31 U.S.C § 5118(a)(2). Pay to the order of *First and Last name* Date 11/2/2024". I signed and included a Federal Reserve Note with serial number C23553031A. The payment transaction was on 11/08 and posted 11/10.

I called on a recored line (I recorded on my end as well) on 11/11 to try and understand why my account still has a balance due. I was informed by a member of the statements team that they have the right to decline conditional payments. I responded with "you didn't decline it. You accepted my federal reserve note as payment.". He just continued to falsely state that they declined the conditional payment. You can't decline it and take the money. It's a total violation of my rights.

I paid an extra 3% for a vacation rental to use my Chase Sapphire Card, under the assumption that they would support me if the owner didn't fulfill their obligation under our contract. Boy, was I wrong!

Not only did Chase not support me, but they denied my dispute and sent a note with no explanation or timetable to dispute it. When I called to ask why, they told me I had to have a written note mailed or faxed (who knows where a fax machine is???) to them in 3 days, or it would be closed forever. I had to type up my complaint, spend over thirty dollars overnighting it to them, and then have it denied with no reason or response attached. HORRIBLE customer service!

Now for what happened. I could have wired the money for 10 10-day stay at this house for my family, saved 3%, or used my card and paid the service charge. I chose the latter.

After we left, we never received our security deposit back, so I reached out to the owner a few times asking for it to be returned and never heard back. I disputed it and sent all documentation stating I should have received the security deposit back, and it was denied. When I called to ask why, one of their agents said I filed under the wrong dispute code (whatever that means), and then a manager was rude and told me if I was owed it back, why didn't they pay? Really???? Then they sent me on a while goose chase, overnighting my complaint to a PO Box, only to have it denied again with no reasoning or explanation.

Needless to say, I've started using other cards as Chase has clearly fallen off. It used to be a great asset and worth spending the $600+ annual fee for, but I would save your money and use a debit card or another credit card company, especially as more retailers are using cash discount models that push the fees to consumers.

Horrible, horrible customer service for someone who has been a loyal customer for ~15 years and spent a ton of money on your platforms.

Chase closed my credit card account for absolutely no reason, no warning and now they expect me to pay the remaining balance. It’s absolutely pathetic and a disgrace when I’ve made all my payments on time. This bank is a complete joke. I was told they cannot reverse their decision either. I shouldn’t be on the hook for this.

I use credit cards in part for their fraud protection. I have been a loyal credit cards customer paying my card charges each month. Recently I perceive I was scammed by what I thought was a moving company but was really a moving broker. After they provided me an initial estimate they came back with one almost three times higher. I asked to cancel the service and receive a refund which the company United American Moving and Storage refused. I put in a dispute and the company stated I signed an agreement. In deed during the transaction I was asked to sign for the estimate but was never shown an agreement nor was I told I was signing an agreement. Beyond, that, I emailed the company the next day telling them I was cancelling the service and then put a dispute in with my Chase Visa Credit Card. Long story short, Chase said I signed an agreement and overturned my dispute. I will not do business with Chase again.

I am an ex employee this is one of the worst companies to work for. Their communication is worthless. When hired never was I advised that you have to accrue your time but get it up front to use. Let’s start from the beginning. Never was I advised that when you take maternity leave it makes you ineligible for intermittent days towards the end of the year. When I hired I was told all benefits started right away and vacation and sick time came after your training. Now they are trying to take 640 dollars from my last pay because I used all my vacation by august due to having kids appoints and things. Now they are taking 30 hours because I’m no longer working there for the last 3 months of the year which mind you was NEVER in the agreement or mentioned when hired. When you follow what your tl tells you to do it back fires on you no one there knows their butt from a whole in the ground. They all contradict theirselves. They only accommodate for 8 hr shifts so if you are offered 10 hrs DO NOT TAKE IT you will have to used your own entitlements at the end of the year to cover you for a bank closed holiday. Don’t let some of their benefits trick you into working for crappy people

No loyalty whatsoever, very dissatisfied. I had 2 accounts with these clowns for years and no problems. I paid my account balances off and they canceled me. Probably due to some algorithm since I move around the country alot and don't finance much of anything. I know I'm small potatoes to these guys, but I don't deserve to be tossed in the garbage. Take your business elsewhere as these guys are cutthroat and greedy

In the last couple of months, I applied for and received a Chase Marriott credit card. Three month promotional period to charge a pre-set amount to receive bonus points. I attached the card to my Marriott Bon Voy account, but didn’t use it right away because of company business and having to use the company card. About a week after this, the card is closed due to inactivity. Still within the promotional period. The card fee had been paid, and they still closed the account. So now, my credit has been hit twice. One for the application piece and two for the closure. How many people don’t even try to get the fee back. Not good Chase. You should be ashamed.

I applied for the Chase United mileage plus credit card and the promotion available then and now was a $300 credit after I purchased tickets. I did purchase ticket and was then given mixed messages about why I would not receive that promotion and was then told my promotion was 50,000 award miles after I spent $3,000 in the first three months. that is not what is being shown on the United website. I have spoken to five different agents and have gotten nowhere with Chase. I believe this is a scam and would like some satisfaction. I have never dealt with a credit card company like this before. Something is very strange as to what is going on and this needs to be taken care of without all of their excuses!!!!

Please stop mixing me up with the woman from Florida and fix my credit report! You are not reporting under my social. My own Vehicle company states that I do not own my vehicle and that it is not in my name. i had a loan with Chase and my credit card too. I have been working with the executive offices and Chase since last year.

The Chase/Amazon Credit Card is a scam! Charging 30% APR on a regular and conventional Credit Card while other Banks are charging far less than that, is simply extortionary and predatory. My other Credit Cards: Macy's Credit Card, Alliant Credit Union's Credit Card, Bank of America's Credit Card and Huntington Bank's Credit Card do not have such an oppressive and money-guzzling APR as this Chase/Amazon. They are preying on unsuspecting Americans who are lured by Amazon to take the Chase/Amazon Prime Credit Card as a convenient shopping tool that would earn them the Amazon "point system".
What Amazon doesn't tell the unsuspecting Users is that the APR charged on this Card, whether used in shopping or not, is outrageously high and inhumanly designed to trap the Users in a vicious cycle of debt. It is not like the regular conventional Credit Card offered by other Banks and i suspect that Amazon is fully aware of this!!!
