      Not a legitimate business as my moms bills are all paid! I also got demand letters when my uncle died who I in fact knows had no outstanding bills! Seems these people like to prey on those who have lost a loved one! Good luck scammers!

      A company that seems to prey on those who have recently lost someone. Tried calling the number to complain and tell them not to contact us again but was on hold for a long time before being disconnected. I'm writing a report here in the hopes to stop scammers like this.

      For those wondering, yes, Phillips & Cohen is a real business. Note that I used the term "real" rather than legitimate. I've been trying for 6 weeks to pay a small credit card bill on behalf of my deceased father. In that time I have spoken with Phillips & Cohen representatives about ten times and the credit card company about the same number of times. It seems the representatives from both companies lack the knowledge and interest to resolve even this most simple matter. I get conflicting information from one phone call to the next and, more to the point, the Phillips & Cohen representatives make no effort to resolve the matter nor keep any commitments. On four different occasions, I have dutifully waited by my phone at a prearranged day and time to receive phone calls from them instructing me how I can get this small $130 bill paid. Never once have they kept their appointment nor responded to any of my correspondence. Their website contains a lot of fluff about compassion and keeping commitments. My experience is that nothing could be farther from the truth. Bear in mind, I'm not trying to avoid paying a bill. I simply want confirmation of the amount and means by which I can finalize payment. They simply don't know and don't care... So, for what it is worth, that's forewarning. Don't know how a company could be any more insensitive and uncaring. They should be ashamed. Would leave zero stars if possible; that would better match their service.

      I told them now 2 times to stop calling (emailed) they keep calling a 12 year old. It’s not even our debt.

      This is the typical inheritance/debt scam. They have been calling me and I've now blocked their number. I'm sure they'll use another 1-833 number to call me, as that's the usual scam toll number. Please do not call these scammers back, as they will ask for personal info. DO NOT give them any personal information and report them to the cyber crimes division in your area.

      Scam. They seem to pray on people who recently lost someone. If you have been harassed by this company give them negative feedback on BBB who they always seems to tell their victims to go.

      This company is scam!! They sent me a letter saying my deceased fathers estate owes a debt. I call them and they tell me it’s a citi bank credit card (home
      Depot) with a balance of 3K. They asked for my Checking account and routing number, which was when I started to question the legitimacy. I call citi bank and Home Depot, there is no record of my father ever having a credit Card through them. I’m seriously angry! COMPLETE BS!
