I had a hard inquiry from this company and I didn’t authorize it. Every attempt to contact them has failed. The number listed is an automated service that constantly says I’m first in line just to never answer and eventually hang up on me. I tried to email but no response. Over the past month I have discussed hardship with supervisor and customer service representative. Supervisor stated she was taking me off hardship and offering me a settlement and I will have answer in 3 days. I called they said they took me off hardship, but I have to be delinquent 60 days for settlement. I advised don't want to report on my credit and asked if could put me back on hardship. They said yes advised I pay 28.68 by September 16, 2024 and it won't report 30 days. I allowed her to take payment over the phone. They reported my account 30 days even though I made the payment within 30 days as advised. I've never been late and have a perfect payment history. I want my credit corrected showing I wasn't late. They told me my next payment is due in October 16 of 28.68. You dropped my credit 51 points. Please fix your error. I preferred settlement, but they lied about that. I didn't want to hurt my credit that's why I've done everything you asked of me. My husband has had cancer twice, double pulmonary embolism from covid, long covid and can't work at the moment. I'm permanently disabled, I have diabetes, and alpha thalassemia. I'm struggling financially. I paid insurance on this card no help. We can barely buy groceries. I have to pay tons of doctor bills for my husband's treatments. I need help. Please fix my credit and help with anything you can please.Business Response

On my Aug 25 statement it shows they did not receive my payment that was due by Aug 22.
They received my payment for my Surge card Aug 20 and it shows that on my back statement.
This Aug 25 statement has a late fee on it now and shows me past due. I have NEVER been late with SURGE. I pay this acct thru my banks bill pay and it shows they received my Aug payment on the 20th of Aug.
I want my bill corrected and shown current with late charges removed. I also do not want this held against me regarding future credit line increases.Business Response

There was a late fee add to my credit report I contacted them to let them know that it was fraudulent activity with my bank account where auto payment was stop when account had to be change. I have not had a replacement Reflex card in over a year. Yet the fees keep piling up. I am now up to my FOURTH request for a new card. Customer service says it was an address error and sent me a confirmation letter. The last card sent was August 5th. Before that was June 28th. Before that was May 8th. Oddly, that confirmation letter got to me, but nothing was ever updated. I have spent today, August 20th, 2024, spending 3 hours on the phone with Reflex going around and around. Some have the correct address. Some do not. But I have a correctly addressed letter from Reflex, proving they do in fact have the correct address. Absolutely zero compensation for my time, will not expedite the card to me, and continues to charge me for a card I do not have. I was told to wait another 7-10 days, making this a total of one year and one month without a card. MEANWHILE, I'm still getting charged. Haven't had an active card in over a year. This company is criminal. FTC is next.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint and have determined that this does not resolve my issue. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
**In order for the bureau to continue to assist you, you MUST provide your view on the matter or your complaint will be closed as answered.Please find the most current three letters I received. Three of seven, all confirming the address was updated. If it was never updated, then how could I have gotten the first card? The representative responding to this never addresses this. Here are their words ; 'Please note that when you continued to contact our Customer Service Department regarding yourreplacement card, the address on your account was reflecting as updated, however, proof of theupdated address was still requested in order to ship the credit card. We sincerely regret anyfrustration this caused.Nonsense. After this complaint was filed, the card amazingly showed up. The address update was a fault on Reflex starting with the automatic replacement going missing and this saga starting in May of 2024. I have a pile of letters saying 'Home address updated', yet this 'company' excels at behaving as an incompetent financial institution. Not even expedited shipping offered. First card expired July 2023. New card active August 2024. That alone speaks volumes on this subpar company. I reject this response. Thank you Better Business Bureau.

Contifinco/Cerulean credit card/ etc will cancel my Credit card without any fees. I have tried contacting them by email and phone number, The reps keep putting me back on the automated system in calls, and they refuse to answer emails. This company will cancel the card due to their own fault, without any fees as I have yet to receive the card. I will not accept re delivery, only cancellation with no derogatory remarks on my credit . THEY WILL REMOVE ANY DATA RELATED TO ME FROM THEIR COMPANY. My credit card company decided to increase my rate substantially and gave me the option to opt out of the rate increase but failed to disclose that my account would be closed. Now my credit rating has dropped.
I have now found the original letter stated in the attached document

p) Your decision to opt out will not affect our decision to continue to extend credit to you under the agreement.
I’ve made several phone calls over the last month to re established and was told I would be reactive in 72 hours. This last call I was told it could not be reactivated. My fiancés account was reactivated and we both sent the opt out notice at the same time but I called prior to her to have my account re established. I feel I’m being punished for putting in a complaint.
The letter clearly said my decision to opt out will not affect their decision to continue to extend me credit.Business Response

I was alerted that a card was issued without my knowledge
I contacted Experian and also Continental Finance. Initially the number I was given kept hanging up after being on hold for over an hour.
I called the card department and was told everything was deleted and it was sent to fraud
I was not given an opportunity to verify this and was told I would be contacted by the fraud department. I asked what email they had and they didn’t have my correct email but would not verify what they had.
I was hung up on several times and was not given any answers. I want to ensure that the account was closed and that they know it was fraud I did not ask or apply for this card.
I want resolution and want to know how this occurred. I want to know this was taken care of and want confirmation of thisBusiness Response
