Clone sites, misrepresentation. Likely scamming. Thought I was on the actual hotel site. Offered excellent prices on rooms, but put a 60% markup in taxes and fees which I discovered only after I got the receipt. Only after the receipt did I also discover it was a third party reservation site. Living in Canada, using Canadian Internet, reserving a Canadian hotel - the $s were in US dollars, but not listed as such. My CC company refunded and investigated.

This website is misleading and will charge you hundreds of dollars in service fees on top of the quoted room reservation fee. They will you charge that same amount to try and cancel the reservation. The website is misleading because they work the name of the hotel into the web address so you think you're going to the official hotel site. No customer service phone number connects you to a person.

Scam Alert. I've lost $418 because of Guest Reservations. Here's my story.

When I was booking my hotel rooms, I thought I was going through the hotel's official website. But instead, the booking went through an outfit named Guest Reservations.

I was unaware that (1) the price for the room would be booked immediately to my credit card, (2) the price was non-refundable, and (3) an additional $118 tax & service fee would be added to overall price, above and beyond the quoted $300 price of the room for two nights. All I wanted to do was make a reservation.

So, when the reservation confirmation arrived in my email - and seeing that $118 surcharge for the very first time - I called Guest Reservation and cancelled the deal. But to my surprise, the operator then told me I would not get my money back.

So after making phone calls to the hotel and my credit card company, I called Guest Reservations back again and asked if they could switch my reservation back from "cancelled" to "confirmed". The operator said no, this would not be possible. Knowing quite a bit about computer systems, I find this impossible to believe.

Looking for another alternative, I called back to the hotel once again and asked if they could honor the reservation, even though I had cancelled it through Guest Reservations. After all, I had already paid for it and most likely the hotel would get the money anyway. The hotel people said they cannot do it.

I've exhausted all avenues to get my money back. My only alternative will be to enter a dispute through my credit card company, but I don't have much hope.

Made a reservation for two nights in an hotel in Istanbul. I got the email confirmation for a different month. Call them back immediately to either cancel or change my reservation to the correct dates. The y said they could not change it and tried to sell me another reservation without cancelling it. After many calls they charged me like 70% of the cost in cancellation fees. I will dispute the chartes with Capital One and see what happens. I thought I was dealing directly with the Hotel, and realized too late it was an agency, not the hotel reservation.

Terrible company!!!! I booked a hotel reservation and hit the wrong date. I put in the day that I was booking as the same day when I needed it to be the next day. I immediately called the company to reconcile this mistake. All I wanted to do was change my booking to the very next day. Guest Reservations gave me no option to change the reservation and did nothing to even remotely try and help me reconcile this mistake. Instead told me there was nothing that could be done and that basically I was screwed out of $200. After asking to speak with a supervisor I was told a supervisor was unavailable. After insisting on speaking to a supervisor I was put on hold for ten minutes only to be received again by the person I was speaking to in the first place telling me that the supervisor was still busy and couldn’t take my call. Still receiving no help to reconcile this issue and not getting to speak with a supervisor I was then disconnected from the call. Upon calling back I was once again met with complete resistance and no willingness to even attempt to help with my issue. Customer service and mere human decency does not exist within this company. I will never book anything through this company again and urge those who choose to do so not to, or to be VERY cautious dealing with them.

Scam! I tried to book three rooms in Los Angeles at a Hilton and was redirected to this scam site. The rooms were $201 each and when I received my confirmation, the total charges were $2,470! $1,800 in service fees is a joke. I called the number listed on Guest Reservations and spent 40 minutes with a useless service agent who offered me discounts ranging from 10% to 50%.

This site and business is a SCAM. I have called my credit card company and will stop the payment, but this company is likely criminally negligent for imposing such absurd fees. DO NOT EVER USE GUEST RESERVATIONS!!!

zero stars- this company mimics websites for hotels making you think you are booking directly with the hotel (and probably all kinds of hospitality companies) and charges very, very high fees. I was not able to win my dispute through capital one and ended up paying twice for a room for one night in Naples FL at a run-down Hampton inn off the expressway of almost $600. there was no way to contact anyone and no refund option. Be careful and aware that guest reservations is not the hotel site. Total scam in my opinion. Companies like this take advantage of people who don’t book online often.
