I am appalled by the abysmal service Ive received from Cinch and ****** and I feel compelled to share just how disastrous this experience has ******* 2023, I filed a claim for my built-in microwave, which was part of a combo unit, because it was no longer functioning. A technician came to repair it but couldnt fix it. I was told a replacement would be ordered. What followed was a complete fiasco.First, it took months for the replacement microwave to arrive. Then, when it finally did, your team refused to install it, claiming the job was "too much work." Instead, I was offered a laughable $250 reimbursement to hire someone else for the installation. Two years laterits now 2025I still havent received that ******** add insult to injury:-The replacement microwave was too small for the opening.-It didnt have the same power or electrical compatibility as the original unit. What was the result? I had to spend $2,000 out of my own pocket to:- Remove the old microwave.- Redo the electrical setup in the back.= Install the ill-fitting replacement.- Buy additional parts to fill the gaps caused by its size mismatch. This ordeal has been a nightmare. The sheer incompetence, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction are beyond unacceptable. Cinch and ***** have failed at every possible stepleaving me to foot the bill and deal with the consequences of their failures. This is a disgrace. If this is how ***** and Cinch treat customers, their business doesnt deserve to exist.

Scam scam scam. Read the fine print. Even if you read the fine print, they still wont cover repair cost. You wont be able to even talk to a decision desk or case manager to appeal a rejection. AVOID at all costs!

Cinch Home Warranty is a Complete Scam!!!If I could give zero stars, I would. Cinch Home Warranty is nothing but a scam. When I purchased my home, I was so excited to protect my investment, and Cinch was on a list of home warranties the realtors are obligated to hand out. This being my first home I wanted to make sure I got everything I needed to protect it. When I called them the sales *** made their plan sound amazing, promising that they would be helpful and that wed get comparable ***lacements for any ***airs. That could not be further from the truth.I had a leaking kitchen faucet, and the ***lacement cost for a similar faucet today would be $379. Instead, Cinch sent out a technician who insisted on installing a cheap $40 faucet. I explicitly refused this option, but they installed it anyway! When I called Cinch to address the issue, I was left on hold for 2 hours only to be told they wouldnt do anything. I paid a $75 deductible for them to install a $40 faucetsomething I could have done myself for less money. They take your money, deliver the bare minimum service, and couldnt care less about providing quality or fairness. While I might understand not receiving the exact same product, a comparable faucet in the $200-$250 range would have been reasonable. Instead, I was ********** NOT purchase a home warranty from Cinch. They will scam you, waste your time, and leave you with subpar solutions. I will not be renewing my warranty. Stay far away from this company!

You pay for this monthly, then pay a deductible when you have a need for service. Then, surprise, you pay for all the non-covered stuff. My hot water heater went out, I was under the impression that I just needed to pay the deductible and they replaced it. Well guess what? Not only do you need to pay monthly for this service, but you will also pay for the non-covered stuff that is required for your hot water heater, In my case another $1400.00.

Cinch Home warranty left my elderly parents who have health issues without heat for almost 3 months 3 service people came and said the heater needed to be replaced. We were also told carbon monoxide could leak in their home if it was used. Their solution was to send a check for $1,000, but my parents had to spend almost $10,000 to replace the heater. I dont recommend Cinch to anyone.

This is a negative review of Cinch Home Services. I have used them for many years. Their claim service has been great. My issue is I am moving January 2, 2025 and I called to cancel the service. They said they cant cancel service until the contract runs out. Fine. I asked to transfer the service to my new house. The said no because I have filed claims in the past. They said I would have to purchase a new contract for the new house AND still pay for service at the old house. That is ridiculous. They should be able to continue the service contract and move it to the new house. I will never use them again.

I have been paying this "company" for 3 years now for the "Complete Whole Home Plan". During this time, we have had to have our water heater replaced (took 3 weeks to get reimbursed after we had to pay out of pocket because they couldn't find a contractor in our area that was in their network). That fiasco put them on thin ice with us. At the time we were paying $69.99/mo for this plan. This year (2024), the plan price was upped to $76.99/mo and until last week, we hadn't had to use the service again. Our washer started shaking and leaking so we scheduled a service appointment ($100 deductible) and had to wait a week for a technician to come out (12/17/24). He was researching the part and could not locate one, so he was taking the information to their "research ***** and someone would get back with us. That was 6 days ago...I called today and all I got was that a part had been ordered and that it would arrive sometime between now and January 16th, 2025. The "customer **********************" line was no help. DO NOT PAY FOR THIS "WARRANTY" !!!!! When you need it, they do not have ANY sense of urgency for their paying customers that NEED covered *********************** repaired or replaced. Having to go through the holidays not being able to even clean laundry is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!! HOW IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS?????

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by Cinch Home Services. My experience has been marked by a lack of customer **********************, subpar performance from your service partners, particularly *****, and an unjust termination fee.Customer ********************** Issues:Unresponsive Support: On multiple occasions, I have reached out to customer ********************** for assistance, only to be met with long wait times and unhelpful responses. It is incredibly frustrating to feel ignored when seeking help for urgent home issues.Poor Communication: There have been several instances where I was not informed about the status of my service requests. This lack of communication has left me in the dark and uncertain about when or if my issues would be resolved.Service Partner Problems:Unreliable Technicians: The technicians from ****** one of your service partners, have consistently failed to provide satisfactory service. They have missed appointments, arrived late, and in some cases, did not have the necessary parts or tools to complete the job.Substandard Repairs: When technicians did show up, the quality of their work was often poor. I have had to schedule multiple follow-up visits to address the same issue, which is both time-consuming and inconvenient.Termination Fee:Unjust Charge: After deciding to terminate my service due to these ongoing issues, I was charged a termination fee. This fee feels unjust given the lack of adequate service and support I received throughout my contract.Overall, my experience with Cinch Home Services has been disappointing. The combination of inadequate customer **********************, unreliable service partners, and an unfair termination fee has made it difficult to trust that my home will be properly cared for. I hope that Cinch Home Services will take these concerns seriously and work to improve their service quality and customer support.

Don't waste your money on this crackerjack operation. I've had issues with my **** system for the last 2 months. The contractor they assigned to the case never showed up on the day they were scheduled to show up. Contacted Cinch and they told us that WE needed to contact the contractor and get the scheduling issues resolved! WRONG!!! That's what I pay you monthly for! Called again for the same reoccurring issue with the **** system and same contractor was scheduled for today 12/16/24 to come out at 12pm. Suprise, the contractor didn't show up and didn't bother calling. Called Chinch and they put me on hold and called the contractor and he stated that he lost our information and had no appointments scheduled with us. I guess the 20-minute phone call on Friday scheduling the appointment and going over what the issue is again must have slipped the contractors mind. This companies lack of customer ********************** is astonishing! Not surprised considering their 1 start rating. They work the system to their advantage. They will try and nickel and dime the repair for your issue to where is cost you out of pocket, so they don't have to cover it. Essentially, you're paying for nothing in the long run. It's not a coincidence this company has an astronomical amount of consecutive 1 start ratings!
