      I would have rather gone to a merry go round! On the phone for over three hours total over three days. Talked to numerous people and could not get a service call scheduled. I have now been trying for over three weeks and had 2 no shows. They send you from one customer ********************** agent to another. I have had this service over 2 years and have paid for my service call. If some one cannot at least seem concerned, refund my money and I will go elsewhere.

      Cinch is terrible. The annual fee I've been paying for years ($640 annually) is not worth it. I made my first claim and paid a deductible of $135. The first company assigned to fix the range hood does not work on the brand (Faber)  They sent someone else who said it was the motor, but they could not work on it: Cinch had no record this company ever made a service call. They assigned to a thirds company (Sears) who came out and said they could not get the parts for the motor. On 8/18, Cinch sent an email stating they could not find a provider, and they would follow up. After no follow up, I called on 8/30. I was told if I find my own provider, they will reimburse me. They refused to reimburse the deductible because someone came out.The service is not worth it.

      Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Absolutely terrible service. They can never locate a company to service your equipment. Waited 3 business days to allow them to find a service provider after which they were unsuccessful. They never reach out to me. I always have to call in order to get the claim escalated of which takes 48 more business hours. And every phone call I could promise would take an hour every time. I asked for a refund on my deductible, not possible they said. Two weeks later still no company assigned to fix our ac unit. At which time they allowed me to find my own service provider and they will reimburse. But I have to wait another 24 hours to get the email. I spoke with 2 different case managers no one was helpful this entire time. And no one knew really what was going on the entire time. And no one took the time to listen to me. They were not documenting the calls appropriately and were not portraying the info for the next representative to read in the notes. Every time I called it was a new person. They couldnt even transfer the call to the case manager I spoke with previously. They said it wasnt possible. I would have gladly had my AC unit fixed and paid full amount to a provider of my choice if I had known it would be this difficult.

      I made a appliance insurance claim early summer 2022 for an air condition that was not cooling. ****'s technician sent out. He sent a report back stating "no mechanical failure" "running" meaning the motor is working, so its good. Right? Wrong. It's blowing hot air. It's not cooling. Be careful with words that are used as we obviously have our own definitions of words that are not shared with Cinch. Most of us get it. Hey, my air condition is not running. My air condition unit is not working. My air con is not cooling. But according to ***** running and cooling for air condition units are two different things. So for the entire summer, no air condition fixed or replaced as per the terms with Total Protect Gold plan. Apparently Cinch is only good for blowing a bunch of hot air. Any attorneys want to take this on? Please contact me. I've been with Total Protect Gold plan over 20 years and never a problem. Only service with Cinch is a problem, as when other business service technicians come out, everything gets done timely. ***** will definitely not get my future business as well.

      ZERO STARS Should be given! BUYER BEWARE! Save your hard earned money & just do the repairs yourself- you will end up doing that anyway. Save yourself the frustration, ************* upon hours being tied up on the phone on hold hours on end passed around, call dropped no help, no repairs, no replacements, no reimbursements...NOTHING They promise to do. I have almost 5 full notebooks filled w/dates, ppl names & hours on hold this past year w/no resolution to anything.Just the same hoops to jump through again & again, more wasted hours on phone. They want you to give up trying and do everything they can to insure that you do.Earlier this month when calling about another issue after days of same old runaround I told them mid month I have no choice but to contact BBB. They had me wait as they "Escalated" to higher level (they have no idea what definition of Escalate or Emergency is) they gave specific time a person would call...no one did. Waited another day nothing.This morning 2 weeks later THEY Called me at 9:04 I was on hold most of the almost 4hrs. Spoke to 8 or 9 ppl NO ONE Knew WHY THEY CALLED ME! I rehashed the past year no resolution...just another almost 4hrs tied up on phone w/them wasted time.Please save yourself the trouble & mental anquish.Cinch is nothing more than a way to make you think you are ****************************** aren't. In the end you are out their fees & many out of pocket expenses as well.

      Force you to stay in plan for awhile or you pay a fee. Your deductible is often more than your service repairs. Some of their partners never answer you. If you never have your job done, and you don't reach out, you'll never get a refund. They never respond on their automated text message system. So far nothing positive

      I Cannot believe I am paying this company for the last several years to protect my home appliance and other things. Now I have a few issues with my appliances I called them they charge a $ ****** deductible upfront and it's been over several weeks they couldn't find anyone who can fix that item. When I asked to replace it they refused it. When we bought these services they clearly mention if we cannot fix we will replace but that's not the case so kindly stay away from HMS now called Cinch home services. They are ripped off you stay away and do not trust this warranty company. Goodluck

      Cinch Home Warranty Services is a horrible company to do business with. They work with incompetent contractors who cannot diagnose the issue at hand. They fail to cover basic repairs and the process to actually get work done is draining. I am in my 3 week trying to get my HVAC repaired and I have dealt with three different HVAC tech from Mid Atlantic HVAC/Able HVAC and they failed to to provide a solution. They cannot take a breath without approval from Cinch and that takes days/weeks to get a response.Avoid this company and the product they offer. It will drive you insane and cost you out of pocket anyway.

      Cinch has been a nightmare. I can't get them to honor their contract. I'm been trying to get some plumbing work done for eight months now. Keep getting the run around. I want some action to be done about this. I'm forced to give them one star.

      Off to a terrible start. Had to pay a $200 to have them tell me they can help me. I asked what the next step would be and they got a quote for replacing a valve for $500. I did my research and found that same valve should cost about $300. So aside from the money they took to start the plan, they thought it was reasonable for me to pay for all that. I also was told by the overpriced technician that i would be receiving a call from Cinch and the water company.....that never happened. I had to call myself to find out they were not going to do anything. So im out $200 and have not had anything resolved. Also still waiting on a response to my email I sent out. Not looking good. If i can just cancel the warranty and get the money back I will.
