      These guys are absolute crooks. They are only trying to empty your bank account. I was lied to from the beginning with them. Tried booking twice with through them and both times they put me and my wife in a hotel in ********, ** and **********, **. A hotel, not a resort as promised. I paid over $30,000 for the vacation club packages and points. I did not finance it, so the whole thing has been paid in full. There were yearly maintenance fees. Starting at around $1700 a year. I have been in the plan for 2 years and those fees have been raised to over $2000. To make matters worse, they are totally not secure as someone has booked vacations, using my plan and Bluegreen would not allow me to cancel those fraudulent trips "unless" I paid fees to cancel. I was told when signing that I could sell my plan. I tried and it cannot be done. Their selling company, Pinnacle, is actually a debt collection firm for Bluegreen. Since I paid in full for their package, again well over $30,000, I requested returning it to Bluegreen without any compensation. They turned me down. Their representative say I am a member "FOR LIFE" which means they plan to rip me off for their maintenance fees for the rest of my life, even though I will never use their vacations. It is all a money scam and as far as Bluegreen is concerned, I am stuck with it for the remainder of my life, like it or not. I will be seeking legal assistance because they refuse to discuss this with me. Calls have only resulted with them completely ignoring me and telling me..."I need to just give in and start vacationing with them, because I bought it, and I have to live with it." Stay as far away from these crooks as possible.

      Read the fine print! The price they refer to as the "full price" isn't everything. BLUEGREEN blames the lodge the lodge blames Bluegreen. Expect to pay more.

      Horrible. Arrived at ********************** for check in, was told we were at wrong location. We took a Lyft there. I asked for a shuttle or bus. Was told there were none. Told to walk across the way. An employee felt bad and drove me and my daughter. He said they could have called for transportation. Got over there and was told we were in the wrong spot. Again. Was TRANSPORTED to the check in center. Assigned notes at *********** 20 minutes away. No transportation to the hotel. Paid for another Lyft. I have to COME back in the morning for the presentation. Why isnt the lodging on site where the presentation is? Makes no sense. Why are staying 20minnutes away and have to pay to go back and forth.The hotel is undesirable. Filthy. Im a bad neighborhood. Its my daughters 18th birthday Her birthday is ruined I will never book with these people again and I dont reccomend anyone to book.Instead of being able to stay on the beautiful resort, we are in tbis filthy hotel in A really bad neighborhood The money $100 we are supposed to receive after the gift card will just be reimbursement for all these Lucys we have to take.This is unbelievable

      They do not care..When it comes to this timeshare not only is it a complete waste and it starts with all lies but they just simply do not care about anyone and that is what is very disheartening. I have been unavailable previously due to some serious tragedies in my life and all they have done is take my issues and concerns and stomp on it then throw it out the window like I am nothing.. My spouse and I both are facing very serious health issues. And you would think that they would at least have a heart to take this into consideration to let us out of this mess they got us into because we are not able to travel. We both Fibromyalgia, arthrits, heart failure, sarcoidosis, POTS disease and the list goes on as we get older I need to prioritize our health rather than paying for something that has no benefit to us. It never has since the beginning and especially now that we are not able to use it. The last conversation that I had with them really was upsetting.. I will keep letting others know that they simply just do not care in any way or shape and it is very sad because they are humans on the other side of the phone that just love to take advantage of elders.. I am in a loss ****************** *******

      Our experience with Bluegreen Resorts began with the promise of a 3-night, 4-day vacation at a reduced price, only to find out that it entailed a mandatory 7-hour seminar and accommodation at a nearby Holiday Inn instead of the advertised resort. During the seminar, we endured relentless sales pitches from multiple salesmen who pressured us into purchasing a timeshare package costing over $45,000. Despite our firm refusal, we were coerced into accepting an offer in the range of $13,000-$14,000, accompanied by false assurances about maintenance fees and investment returns. Adding insult to injury, in March 2023, we were targeted by ******************* Source, allegedly affiliated with Bluegreen and RCI, promising free weeks at RCI resorts or the opportunity to sell them back for profit. Falling for their scam, we sent $1,700, only to realize later that we had been deceived. Subsequent attempts to recover our money were futile, exposing yet another layer of deception facilitated by Bluegreen's mishandling of our personal information. Despite these setbacks, our ownership experience culminated in a forced attendance at a mandatory "owner's meeting" during our only trip to a Bluegreen property, which turned into a two-hour ordeal of coercion and rudeness, leaving us disillusioned and regretful of our investment. In summary, our journey with Bluegreen Resorts has been marred by false promises, predatory sales tactics, and exorbitant fees, resulting in financial loss and frustration. The lack of transparency and accountability from Bluegreen has left us questioning the integrity of the entire timeshare industry.

      Our complaint to the BBB is regarding our timeshare with Bluegreen Vacations. Initially, we were led to believe that this would be an investment that would benefit us, but it has become a significant burden for my family. Despite assurances that maintenance fees would not increase substantially, they have skyrocketed!!! We have experienced a significant Credit Score drop since being sold this latest mortgage. Unable to afford this anymore! The foundation of numerous false promises has left us extremely dissatisfied with the timeshare company. It is deceiving and force customers into purchases. I was unaware of cancellation options and now thats Ive done research it is now too late, I have made it a goal to inform people of the misleading and unethical sales practices. I even tried for the company to purchase back my points and instead offered a ****** of $5000 to make it go away no more monthly fees, maintained fees or credit reporting. The company holds customers hostage and only the only goal is self gain. There is no interest in making your family happy or vacationing. They lie and tell you they have so much time off vacationing and spending times in resorts but the point system is ridiculous and the only time youll be able to go is on blue or white seasons, when kids are in school.

      When I purchased the package, I was told these were high-rated, high-quality resorts and hotels we could stay in at a discount. The big scam it is no resort it is low-rated hotel....

      Worst experience. Salesperson at cabelas mislead us into thinking we had lots of time to upgrade us to a cabin after I asked him several times before purchase because we have 2 small kids. He assured us that we had time to after our baby was born. We called after and he lied to us about that and many other things. Now here we are first day of vacation already miserable with 2 young kids in a hotel . Worst vacation experience . We would recommend booking through a different company.

      I am writing to share my experience with Bluegreen Vacations and their unethical practices in selling me a timeshare that turned out to be a scam. From the beginning, their promise of a "courtesy stay" at their ********* property was nothing but a ploy to pressure me into purchasing another timeshare.During the so-called "orientation," salespeople pressured me to upgrade my timeshare, telling me that the one I had purchased earlier was not convenient for me because the points were every other year. They even offered me perks like flight tickets to purchase another timeshare so that I could use it every year. However, they conveniently neglected to mention an expiration period during the purchase, and when I tried to cancel, I was told that I had no option to do so since the expiration period had already passed.Bluegreen claims to offer assistance in booking vacations for their timeshare owners, but every time I tried to do so, there was never anything available on dates our family could take vacations. This made the timeshare practically useless to us, and it seemed like the only thing that mattered to Bluegreen was making a sale.It is unfair for Bluegreen to take advantage of their customers like this. They lied to us about the benefits of the timeshare and conveniently left out vital information at the time of purchase. While I understand that businesses need to make money, it should never be at the expense of their customers' trust and well-being. Now they are asking us to pay $17,473 to get out!In conclusion, I would never recommend Bluegreen Vacations to anyone, and I urge others to be wary of their deceitful tactics. My hope is that by sharing my experience, other potential customers will avoid making the same mistake I did.

      We got into this mess with Bluegreen by being offered a free trip to ********** in exchange for a one hour long presentation.. This presentation was filled with lies. One thing we told them that we wanted to travel all over the world and they said this could be easily done. However, this is not true. Bluegreen has not added any new resorts so we have been at most of them already and do not want to even return. We also were told that it would be easy to book with the status we are in, and this has not been the case! They are always booked, and the ones that are open for booking we are not able to book at all which causes even more disappointment. We have reached out to Bluegreen to not only provide them with our concerns, but ask for the next steps for cancellation which too has been a nightmare. They have yet to get any of our issues resolved, and it is just very disappointing that we are being treated this way. Have we known what we know now.. We would have saved ourselves from this awful timeshare.
