  We contracted this company less than a year ago for a brand new Rheem system for our condo unit in Miromar Lakes at a cost of $11,750. When we came down a week later we discovered that only hot air was blowing through the system. A tech responded and discovered the system was wired incorrectly and took the tech a day and a half to figure out. During the heat of this summer our home watch discovered the AC was not working. They dispatched a tech who advised it was due to a clogged drain line. They charged us $149 for a “full cleaning & clearing of Drain line”. Two months later our home watch discovered water dripping from the AC unit causing dry wall damage- which they are very explicit in their terms- they are not responsible for- only to be told that “sludge” was building up inside the unit on a pan that also drains and the proper way to mitigate that was to install a Drain Management System at a cost of $1,500. Yesterday my remote thermostat sent an alert that there was an issue with the system- High Refrigerant Pressure. Today when their tech arrived to finish the $1500 job he advised that a condenser part was burnt out. Since this was a new unit less than a year old I expected that the warranty would cover it- guess again. The part is covered by warranty but this company’s owner said it would be another $300 because he had to handle all of the returns and shipping of the replacement part. You can decide if we’ve been treated fairly and you would consider this outstanding customer service. They will come when you call but be prepared to be told that your home watch doesn’t know what they are doing and you have all of these added issues because your system is “performing so well”. We’ve now parted ways with this company and have had to hire a new contractor because my $11,750 system doesn’t work- at least not unless Air Conditioning and Repair of Cape Coral squeezes out another $300 from us.
