Phishing scam. Just another way to gather your PII (Personally Identifiable Information) through data mining.

It has been over ten years since I subscribed to magazines from National Magazine Exchange.I called the number so I can enter the sweepstakes and they informed me I would have to subscribe to a subscription package which I agreed to and have to pay $30 now and pay the rest later.I think the total was like $170 - $200 and I said that I can't afford that and ending up paying only for I think three out of the five subscriptions because I didn't get the other two magazines for about $100. I am going from memory here.I thought they were being fair and they were nice over the phone.I feel the National Magazine Exchange and PCH are not scams, but they lure you by these sweepstakes and the odds of winning are not very good. My suggestion is buy the package that you will want to read and not just throw them away because you are throwing your hard earned money away. Don't just subscribe for the sweepstakes, because chances are you will not win the Grand Prize of $10,000 a week for 52 consecutive weeks. Also, read and understand the official rules of the sweepstakes and your agreement for your subscriptions. And finally, You can remove from their sweepstakes mailings by calling their free toll number or go to their www.nmemags.com/ContacUs.aspx and submit a request to do it.

Its a scam. When you call to confirm your prize entry authorization number they wont let you off the phone until you give them your credit card number to purchase magazine subscriptions.

How could this company be in business for 47 yrs.?I have spoken to this company and for the prize you need to pay a fee to receive the money and/or for the a car sometimes. They send out a letter, which seems to be legit, you guessed it, it's not.As hard as it is now days to deal with the way things are, this needs to stop the company from processing any more business. Thanks! njf

I have never heard of this company. They signed me up for subscriptions to a magazine that I literally NEVER ordered. Called that company to cancel and was told I'd have to call them. They are KNOWN to steal your identify. I called my lawyer instead. It seems they possibly got my information sold to them from AARP. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!

I think people are too paranoid because they've been scammed before. I have entered the National Magazine Exchange SWEEPSTAKES ! And as a matter of fact Mr. ********** did receive the watch , when I opened it the face was cracked I notified NME about the item & also received the 2nd watch. You need be VERY VERY aware of this next thing I'm about to state that some of you may get in your ******** in fact suspect them of ************ THE SWEEPSTAKES AUDIT BUREAU. FACT: YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO PAY TO ENTER A SWEEPSTAKES! The SWEEPSTAKES AUDIT BUREAU ask that you send $5 in order to do a data processing thing. NOT. THEY'RE JUST AFTER YOUR INFO.THANKS FOR YOUR TIME
