1 starI started CPAP therapy in November of 2023. My pulmonologist suggested Lincare. I received the machine and started using it daily. Everything went well until January of 2024. That was the last I heard from them. They shipped me a mask that was defective and refused to replace it. At that point they stopped billing me for the machine or supplies and I no longer received anything from them. I attempted to call them several times and was hung up on every time I called. I ended up purchasing masks and pillows on Amazon so that I could stay compliant. I just tried to change suppliers and it turns out they told ******** that I wasn't compliant, thus freezing my ability to switch to another supplier. They haven't attempted to contact me about the machine or supplies since January and now are blocking me from getting them from another source. Run away from this company. I can't believe they're allowed to supply anything let alone oxygen. Terrible customer service and not an ounce of compassion.Review fromJerry B

1 starNorth Sioux City sd lincare . Bought a new CPAP machine in 2020 found out that Phillips respironcs had issued a recall on the model lincare had furnished me . I had talked to **** at lincare in North Sioux City sd and asked **** why lincare had not notified me on the recall . **** told me it was not their responsibility to contact me and it was ******** responsibility to do that. I had questioned her more on this and she became somewhat sharp on her response on it was ******** responsibility to contact me. After her cheery conversation I contacted ******** and explained the situation to them. ******** *** me letters and emails had been sent to the supplier stating the recall and to contact their( lincare) customers. Lincare is a poor company to deal with and I can't understand why Medicare continues to do business with them ! I would encourage medical doctors and hospitals to break their ties with them it's the only way to Clean up these companies. Thanks ***** ***Review fromMichael H

1 starBy far, Preferred Homecare is the worst company I have ever dealt with, and I once had to work with the FBI concerning a Co involved with consumer fraud. I am trying to replace my C-Pap machine, and since November of last year they have not once returned a phone call. They have lied directly to me, to my Doctor, and to Cigna. The funniest part is they can’t even keep their lies straight. They have gone as far as saying they were waiting in my Doctors office, not knowing I was on the phone with the assistant in the waiting room. I called them on it and they said they would get back to me (refer to first sentence). One of the employees on the down low did tell me they were way way behind and were not able to keep up with their existing customers, so they are just stacking up new requests. I had been with Apria Healthcare for over 20 years, but Cigna Advantage has forced me to move to this outfit. I contacted Apria and they told me I could have the Cpap Machine within the week, but Cigna will not approve them (or anyone else for that matter). I don’t understand why an Insurance Co as large as Cigna has tied themselves to such a disreputable co, with no other options. I have actually prayed as to why I must deal with these horrible people. I am not saying use Apria, but for God’s sake, walk – NO – away from Preferred Homecare. Preferred Homecare is: Rated 1.5 out of 5 with over 300 reviews on Google Rated 1.3 out of 5 on Yelp with 90 1 star reviews Rated 1 out of 5 on the Caring network They have had to shut down their feed on Facebook Pages and pages of negative reviews on Pissed ConsumerReview fromJim B

1 staragain this is the most incompetent company i have ever had to deal with. the management sucks to the hilt. cannot get oxygen tanks delivered nor has anyone been in the office all week to answer the phone Monday june 3rd 2024 to today Thursday june 6th 2024. have been calling to get oxygen tanks delivered and haven't been able to get in touch with ANYONE. so tried great falls office and they said they sent emails to them to contact me and no luck. so many people have been displeased by their service. something happened back around the pandemic area. when you have the manager, the office lady and a driver ALL quit at the same time and then there was no one working the office. note all 3 of these people have been there for a long time. and it's been a nightmare ever since. even one time had my oxygen tanks that was supposed to be delivered to me ended up going to someone else and was told had to wait til next time for tanks which was 2 weeks and so i hade to kind of be restricted to my house cause i had no portable tanks. so this is what broke the camel's back and i am switching to Norco here in Missoula. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND LINCARE TO ANYONE, THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND UNRELIABLE. Seek out Norco or someone else.Review fromRobert S

1 starThis company gives zero customer service. They will let you stay on hold all day long and even if you call them long before closing time they will just close and leave you hanging on hold with a promise to get to you as soon as possible. This happens EVERY time you call them. If you get through to them, go buy a lottery ticket because its your lucky day. The worst and still on hold..Review fromJan K

1 starLincare was assigned to provide a hospital bed for my beridden dad after a two month hospital stay. The bed they sent was a standard metal bed and was supposed to be long enough for a 6 ft tall person. (Dad is exactly 6 feet tall) IT IS NOT!!! My dad's feet have hung off the footboard for two weeks now. I called and requested a bed extender but I was told this past week LINCARE does not have a bed extender. The previous week, I was told by a different person they could provide an extension. I also mentioned the bed was NOT elevating much so we could work with Dad without having to bend way down. There was a problem getting the top rail down as it was hard to push down. In addition, there was a long rod left under the bed which we did not know what it was used for. When a tech was finally sent out, he acknowledged the rail was warped which was causing it to be hard to push down, the rod under the bed was needed to crank the bed upward but needed to be attached and there was only one crank when there should have been two. I also mentioned the extender. He made notes and said he should be back mid-week the following week when he was in the area. No one came on either day that week. On Friday, I called LINCARE again and was told the techs were not working that week. She said someone would be out the following Monday. I was also told extenders were not available through Lincare. In the meantime, Dad's feet have been up against the footboard or on top of the metal footboard which has not been good for his fractured femur. My next step is to notify ******** they are paying for faulty items provided by Lincare. I have tried my best to resolve this issue with Lincare but to no avail. I am sure they would not be happy if there loved one was having to endure what my dad has with this bed.Review fromHarold G

1 starSTAY AWAY !!! Customer service with this company is nonexistent. If you are able to speak with a Lincare rep chances are you'll be lied to. I recently picked up a oxygen concentrator in Jamestown NY and was assured that the machine was brand new. When I got it home and set it up the built in hour meter showed over four thousand hours of previous use. Not only did they lie about the machine they failed to supply a connection line. I was told that they provide twenty four hours service but it's impossible to get anyone to answer the phone or return a call for help. It's apparent that they care little about the user as long as Medicare continues to pay them. Hopefully I will find another company that will fulfill my needs in a professional manner.Review fromToni H

1 starThis company charged me for items I did not receive. Charged my credit card 92 days after the initial order. Since I called on the 92nd day, it was over the 90 day limit. They gave me the run around, sending me to several different people, then dropping my calls several times. One of my calls, I was on hold for 62 minutes, finally got to a representative to have the call dropped when I was giving them my name. They were going to pull the phone records from when I placed my order, which would prove the items that I ordered. But, now that doesn't matter because it is over the 90 days. The order was made on 2/13/2024, they didn't charge my credit card until May 9th. We noticed it on May 15th, called them and got the run around. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. CROOKED!!
