      My mother has sarcoidosis and sleep apnea. In order to find out if it is the sleep apnea or sarcoidosis causing her fatigue, her pulmonologist ordered her a cpap machine from lincare in November 2022. She met her deductible in 2022, and the cost of the machine would have been covered by insurance, which is great as she is low income and suffering from a chronic illness. She called multiple times, and was told each time the order was in progress. Suddenly, now that the insurance has restarted, they are now saying the order wasn't being processed, and they want to process it now that her deductible hasn't been met. If they had done their due diligence last year, she would've had this machine paid for. Now, they are trying to extort more money from her, and that is just disgusting. They have been rude to her every time she has called, and they do nothing but make excuses for their incompetence. It seems to me like they are either understaffed and inefficient, or they are intentionally holding off on orders to force people to pay more. If that is the case, and I feel it is, that is a horrible way to run a business and I will advise everyone I can against using their services.

      Lincare employee caring knowledgeable and patient. Answered all my questions and gave very clear instructions. I had an issue with a Drs offices late order and Lincare corrected the issue and made the accommodation. I was very happy with every aspect of the customer service.

      I would give 0 stars but unfortunately that is not an option. My mother's physician submitted an order for a CPAP machine in November of 2022. Her insurance deductible had been met and the insurance company agreed that the machine, supplies and appointment would be covered in full. Every time she has called to check on the status of the machine, she's been told that the order was processed and in progress. After her last appointment with her pulmonologist, he was astounded that it had taken such a long time to receive this machine. When she called yesterday, she was told that they actually had a machine but that she would have to pay in full. We contacted the insurance company and they said that the claim could be submitted with the date of service which would have been back in November. We contacted the corporate office this morning and were told by the patient advocate that it would be fraud to submit the claim with the original date; although, the representative from ***** said that there is 180 days to be submitted. Lincare tries to bleed money from families that depend on their services and their business practices and customer service completely lack any empathy or compassion. This is not how any healthcare business should be allowed to operate and is shameful. Patient advocates should do just that advocate for their patients, not the company's profit margins. I would urge anyone needing medical supplies to avoid using Lincare if at all possible.

      Watch this company's billing practices. They don't send invoices, only past due notices. I had to pay them through the online bill pay with what my insurance said I owed. When I did that, they credited the wrong account. Apparantly they changed my account number when i moved states WITHOUT telling me. They refuse to email me copies of my invoices and hide behind HIPPAA. As far as my research shows me, it is not a violation to send invoices by email as long as certain security measures are followed. I really don't see a problem because I am not getting invoices through the mail as they say. That seems to be a security problem. This company is at best incompetant and at worst fraudent as they tried to say I did not pay them as it went to the wrong account, which was as far as I knew the correct account, until they changed it with out my knowledge.

      If I could rate then negative stars I would. Their customer service at the corporate office is lousy. They gave me the run around with my mother having a medical emergency because of their oxygen products. We pay out of pocket for their service and deserve better than "I can not guarantee anyone will be in contact by COB today". No surprise they are based in Florida since the lives of their Custumers seem to be on their "Do not care list"

      ************** _ ************, ** I absolutely LOVE Lincare !!! They are truly "A Breath of Fresh Air."I have been dealing with them for at least five years now and I am so happy that I just went out of my way to write this review and share my experience. They are always there when you need them, always greeting me with a smile and taking care of all of my needs in such a friendly courteous manner. Anyone who needs oxygen, knows how important your supply is and the back-up help required. They are always there when I need them, and most recently they had to adjust their focus on the West Coast of Florida, to help the Hurricane *** victims and customers from disaster, while at the same time, meeting my needs. They are working all the time behind the scenes and not receiving the credit due. If you are thinking of using Lincare, I would highly recommend them to you. And once you experience what I have....please write a great review like me. I think people only write to complain and they deserve a lot more credit than the rating I see. God Bless them, I am so grateful for their help and assistance! Good Day!.

      Healthcare worker I work for as very large medical facility where people depend on receiving DME provider order. Patients do not receive what they need in a timely manner, usually not at all. When a call is placed to check the status a different story is given and no one seems to care. It is obvious they are just there for a paycheck. This is the absolute worst company I have ever encountered

      If i could give it no stars Iwould. I needed to get a new nebulizer for asthma. I ordered a nebulizer in 2022 before my new policy rolled over and a new deductible woud start for the new year. I was told I should not pay for anything because I had met my deductible for 2022 and it would fully paid. I ordered in December 2022. 3 weeks later I still hadn't received the machine. For 5 hours I worked with my insurance and Lincare to try to find out how I could get the nebulizer. Lincare told me that they would send it in the next day at 50%. I shouldn't have to pay anything out of pocket as I met my deductible and ordered it before the new year started. Lincare refused to tell me how much I would be owing and would not give me a delivery time frame. The insurance company called them and Lincare told them that I would be renting the machine. I was never told that despite talking to numerous people- and being on hold fir up to 45 minutes at a time (they dont bother to answer their phones in a timely manner). I told the supervisor from the insurance company that I was owning the machine not renting it and that it would cost me twice as much as if I just outright owned it. She agreed. We made arrangements to get the nebulizer through ********* in my neighborhood; it'll be ready later on today. Lincare is a fraudulent, disreputable company- do not do business with them. They will find anyway to try to make more money off of you and not deliver good service or the proper product. Everything on this forum is absolutely correct -complete waste of time, money and energy. Horrible company!!

      Still no help. Had yo go elsewhere and pay out of pocket-at least the new company's customer service was better.

      I have used this company for years only the company was registered under another name (Sleep Circle). Since it became Lincare, my issues aren't with my getting the supplies or equipment. My issue stems from broken equipment. I started having problems with an oxygen concentrator. It began making noise. Called for service. The tech came out...made all kinds of excuses. Didn't have another concentrator to replace it with. Then the alarm started going off on it for no reason. But according to the tech...."it's not an emergency....it still works", yet I was unable to hear my TV or talk on the phone, this concentrator was making so much noise. As of right now, this concentrator is still sitting in my kitchen, unused because I refuse to listen to that noise. I am in the process o notifying my physician and my insurance company that I'd like to change medical providers. I've had enough of this nonsense.

      Nearly impossible to get ahold of them by phone. None of my messages were ever answered. I need to have the results of my bipap machine faxed to my doctor.When I got the machine, they gave me the wrong mask. I told the technician it was the wrong mask but she said it was all they had. It took 5 months to get the machine, and my breathing pattern had changed significantly, so the bi-pap machine was of no use to me. I need a new sleep study to update the breathing pattern on the machine, but I can't get the sleep study because I can't get the data from the bipap machine from Lincare.
