    On October 23, 2023 I contacted Charlies ********* to replaced my 2 front wheel bearings on my 2008 ****** Prius. I had indicated i will provide both new front wheel bearings and just looking for them to perform the labor only. I received a quote of $652.60 out the door price including taxes. I agreed and took the care the same day. About 4hr later they called me that the car was ready and I immediately when to pick up the car. After paying for the service I got in my car and started driving back home. I noticed the car felt the same with a mild grinding sound on the front passenger side wheel. I taught since i just had put new hub assemblies the noise could be tires going bad, so payed little attention to the light noise. three Months later the noise started to get worse so i took my car for a tire inspection. Tires were found to be in good conditions so i assummed it would be something else like the brakes or calipers. On the the 5th Month the noise became unbearable and i decided to remove the tire and perform a visual inspection to see if i could locate where the noise is coming from, I was extremely surprised to find that the noise was coming from a completely rusted and old hub assembly. The hub assembly was never replaced after they said it was and not only charged me for the labor but also kept my new parts. This is extremely unethical practice and I am requesting for a full refund of $652.00 for labor plus the cost of parts I provided (Both front Hub Assemblies $79.00) for a total refund of $731.00

    I'm reaching out to the Better Business Bureau on behalf of the  Company Charlies Auto Care.

    First I would like to address the Allegation that our company would do such a thing.

    Our Company is a company that prides its self and runs our busy with upmost honesty and Integrity.

    I was shocked to hear such a complaint from a customer. I do not agree with the statements from this customer. 

    It has been 7 months since this customer has been to our shop I have not heard anything until now.

     *********, was made aware before we did the job that there is

    no warranty on the parts or Labor since he proved his own parts.

    I called Him and spoke to him and he wants me to refund him for the labor. I will not be refunded any money to him He paid for labor and there is no warranty. 

    If *********, would have purchased his parts for the repair at the shop he would have a warranty. The warranty our company provides to customers is a ********* **** warranty.

    It is the policy of our shop that no Warranty is provided on customer parts or labor due to the integrity, the make up of the material or the quality.

    The Customer stated that the part was rust. In the state of Florida metals tend to rust due to the humidity and rain that is beyond our control.

    I am rejecting this response because: Charlies ********* states there is no money back for labor performed however no labor or repair was ever performed. Evidence was provided the repair was never done and owner still refuses to take responsibility for this unfair action. It is clear this business does not care about their customer's. Legal advise will be acquired.
