  I would not recommend Southern Turf for their tree removal services. I hired them to remove a tree from my backyard. They came out the next day, and removed the tree but tore up mine and part of my neighbors yard. Additionally, they left debris from the tree in my front yard for pick up. I was told it would be there a maximum of two days, it is now day 5 and I'm being told it will likely be next week before it is removed. They have not been forthright about their pickup timeline and left me with a mess in my front yard. I would recommend that anyone who wants a tree removed, to hire a company that offers same day cut and haul--not Southern Turf

  I had them come to my property to get rid of my trees and brush in April 2024. But they never came back to finish picking up the debris. I called them in early September, and they asked for photos of the debris, to which I complied immediately, and I am still waiting for them. In the meantime, I've been throwing out barrels of trash every week since April. I paid them $9,000 for the work, and I'm stuck with the cleanup. I'm looking at at least a year before I can complete this on my own. One more thing to mention is that their heavy trucks and machines disrupted my land and created dunes, which I had to level out as well. Also, not all of the tree stumps were ground down or removed. Other than that, they did a good job.

  Great company and people. The guys on the ground do not stop and worked hard all day even under the scorching sun. Was surprised to find an honest company out there that can deliver on what they say, as we kissed a lot of frogs to find you guys. The only place to go! Removal of 3 trees, preparation and ******** of approx. 6,000SqFt, mulching to reclaim property boundary.

  Absolute crooks and thieves. Met them at home show here in *******. After they sent 2 different sales reps. ***** to build a retaining wall here at my property, they did not build to material spec required. No geo grid used to retain wall, when need and required at 2nd and 4th course. Wall failed all city code. contracted To build wall 5 tall, Called it done at less than three in most spots. Pictures and proof available.

  The crew was great professional and quick. I did have a question and complaint but I couldn't get the salesman or office to call or text me back. Good to sell you on the tree removal but terrible follow up with customer. Bad customer service.

  I think you better get every thing in writing and don't pay for it all until it is 110% complete. Make sure you have an adult at home to watch what they do compare to what the contract drawn up said. The forgot to trim two trees, they had to call back the tree trimmer to finish since the check wasn't given to them yet. The contract says 24--48 hours after job is complete to pick up all the tree limbs, branches etc which is sitting on our front yard (Killing our grass by the way)..As of this writing we are on hour 54 and no communication with them. Office said a truck is broken why they couldn't come to the job site on Monday, where the rep who came out told us the company over booked. They broke the sprinkler head (We told rep about the one sprinkler head and he said they would remove it (they didn't), broke a piece of our fence to the back yard, didn't grind the stump all the way down as we were told by the rep, and also broke our gutter on side of house. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

  Mrs. *******, not only did we come back to fix all issues the same day you were apparently writing this review, but once everything was said and done, you informed Brett, your sales rep, that everything was just great and that you appreciated us coming back out to fix all issues and your grass was completely fine. We were informed of issues on 6/21/23 and came out the very next day.
  You stated there was no communication but also said yourself "We are on hour 54 no communication with them. Office said a truck is broken..." Therefore, we informed you our grapple truck was down; which on the contract you signed it states debris will be picked up 24 - 48 hours later by a separate vehicle. We informed you of the break down and sent our crew out to pick up the debris by hand as soon as we possibly could.
