    Do not send your baby here!! Sending my dog to River City K-9 was the worst decision I have ever made. Major attitude problem amongst the workers. Vet bills due to heat exhaustion and dehydration. She left this place traumatized especially after training. She was shaking uncontrollably and no longer was playing with her toys. Made statements that my dog was aggressive which made us worry we would have to put my baby down. I have had her behavior evaluated by two other facilities since this place and they highly disagree with their evaluation. I have my dog going to a new facility and her happy personality has finally come back.

    We trained ****** with a free one week program after the Freelands won a raffle. The Freelands' volunteered their name into the raffle. We expressed after training they need to continue it so ****** doesnt digress. We also informed if she bit another employee after training while at our facility that we would ask her to go somewhere else with her. When ****** did bite someone we informed them and showed them picture evidence of the bite and asked them to go elsewhere with ******. At this point, *****, their other dog, was still welcomed to our facility and still continued coming for two weeks. After ****** was told not to come back, then it was brought to our attention the vet bills due to heat exhaustion and dehydration for ****** We were never informed of this before. Then they tried to pressure us into allowing ****** to come back so they can have both of their dogs at the same facility but we could not allow that for the safety of our employees and other dogs. They were not happy about this answer and stopped bringing ***** as well.

    This place and its employees know how to care for dogs. You can tell the staff enjoy their jobs and are happy to be there. We recently switched to River City and Im very happy with the treatment my dogs and other dogs receive while there. At first I was a little unsure but I showed up just to check out the facility and they gave me multiple tours around the property and I was able to see how well organized they are and what a large area they have for the dogs, it really put my mind at ease. Im glad weve finally found a place where my dogs come home happy and tired from playing all day. This place is the best, thank you to all the staff at River City K9!!

    Above and beyond the call of duty. As a military active duty Soldier River City K9 has gone above and beyond helping me. They love my retored military working dog and I am so thankful to God for them. Continue to do great things and the love you all have for these family members. They are not just pets to them they are family.
