Horrible people and service. All kinds of tricks to force place their home insurance which cost about 8 times what a normal one would cost and they don't tell you coming up with excuses and never refunding you. I never chose them of course but was unlucky enough that my loan got transferred to them. Now it's changing again, good riddance, wishing them they use my money they stole in attorneys fees. Their web portal is useless, and they avoid any form of interaction that it is not a simple phone call with someone who knows almost nothing and cannot do anything. No email, imagine that. Horrible. Scammers.

They are not workings today because its Good Friday. I couldnt reach them all week., they have $100,000 of my money and I cant find out where the $9157. that was deducted from my account was sent. This is the worst costumer service that I have ever encountered . The Controller of Currency should do investigate. Im sending a copy to *** legislators and the Attorney General.

Worst customer service in a bank ever! 1) I was preapproved for a mortgage, a month later when I prepared to make an offer, I learned it was discontinuing mortgage service. I had to reapply elsewhere, the double dip caused a drop in my FICO score. 2) After that I decided to move my savings account elsewhere, three electronic transfer attempts to two different credit unions all failed. 3) I asked for the balance be mailed to me and confirmed by address with the associate. Three weeks later, no check. I called and learned they sent it to the wrong address. They refused to waive a $25 fee to wire the money to the new institution but are willing to put a first-class stamp on an envelope and mail it to the correct address. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in a financial institution.

TIAA Bank ran a scam in which they offered a small cash deposit into one's money market account if they increased the balance by several thousand dollars. In my case, I increased the deposit by $15,000, in order to receive a $25 bonus. This offer was extended to me via email on 3/16/22 at 10:08 a.m. The bonus was to be paid as a deposit into my account "by 10/14/22." TIAA Bank never made the deposit. I contacted them on 10/17/22 at 5:17 p.m. about this and spoke to K***. He told me it would be "taken care of in a couple days." It was not. I contacted TIAA Bank again on 10/26/22 at 7:15 a.m. and spoke to S******. He indicted this happened to others and offered some excuses. He said he would get back to me with the resolution. He never did, and the deposit was never made. I ended up closing this account and am in the process of closing my others with TIAA bank because of this scam. All of my accounts would be closed by now, expect this bank is very slow to address things. Beyond this issue, service has been terrible over the years and one can get better interest rates elsewhere.
