I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the product and services provided by American Project Brokers LLC in connection with my purchase of a metal garage. The experience has been marred by a series of issues that have not only inconvenienced me but also raised serious concerns about the quality of your products and the responsiveness of your customer service.
The first major problem arose when the installation team mistakenly installed the wrong roof on the shed. In order to rectify this mistake, I was charged an additional $2600 to replace the incorrect roof with the intended one. This unexpected cost was not only a financial burden but also an inconvenience that I did not anticipate when making the initial purchase.
Subsequently, my dissatisfaction continued as the roof of the garage began to leak. I reported the leak promptly in June, and it took your company a staggering three months to address the issue. While I appreciate the eventual attention to the problem, the delay in addressing a significant flaw in the product was highly disappointing. Moreover, despite the replacement of panels, the leak persists in the same area, rendering the corrective measures ineffective.

I am seeking a full refund of the $15,874.40 that I paid for this garage as it is clearly not up the standards you made it out to be. I am no longer interested in getting this "repaired" and waiting several months only to have the same issue come up again. I have lost my trust in your business and your product. Even if the leak was to be repaired today, I have no guarantee it will not happen again after my warranty expires. This structure has been riddled with problems from the start and I am not prepared to lose over 15k for your defective product
I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency it deserves and take the necessary steps to resolve this promptly.

    Business Response

    Date: 12/08/2023

All of us at American Projects were distressed to learn of these issues. From the moment we became aware, American Projects contacted our fabricator/installer to help facilitate a proper resolution of *** ********** concerns. Please note that American Projects is a manufacturer's representative, that is, our role working with clients on the "front end" of the transaction. We work with clients at their location regarding needs/wants, dimensions, site suitability, and then create a custom order based on the meeting. Once an order is submitted to the fabricator/installer and the order is directly confirmed with a client, our role is concluded. American Projects does not fabricate or install units, all of which is handled entirely and exclusively by the fabricator/installer. Accordingly, workmanship guarantees, product warranties, terms, and conditions are provided by and administered by the fabricator/installer. Of course, we always strive for complete customer satisfaction, and to that end, we engage with our fabricator/installer on the very few occasions like this that the process is not completed to a client's complete satisfaction. So, we are pleased to report that our fabricator/installer has contacted *** ******** directly and agreed to completely replace materials and perform the labor entirely at their expense. They, too, want to ensure *** ********** thorough satisfaction within a few days of this writing. It has been our experience over the years that our fabricator/installer takes great pride in their work and stands by the products. American Projects will remain in touch with *** ******** during and after this process in case we can be of any further assistance.
