    I only came here because I was given a $75 gift card (which on the back says "This Massage Green Spa gift card is redeemable at any Massage Green Spa location") but because the gift card was purchased at a different location, they wouldn't accept it.

    This client booked an appointment online with us verse over the phone. If you follow the online booking on our website it requires you pay upfront with a credit card unless you have a membership with us.  - He did not indicate that he had a gift card that he would like to have used UPON BOOKING nor called to see if the gift card was valid and or had a balance. Upon checking out he handed a gift card for a location that is not associated with us whatsoever in which we can not redeem, refund or even investigate as we never received funds for the purchase of this giftcard. If it was our gift card it would simply say ********* followed by a 6 digit number i.e. (***************). Do to fraud and the simple situation that we do not have access to funds to the gift card he provided as it was purchased elsewhere. When clients call in to book with us we mitigate the clients prior to them booking and help guide them to the appropriate place as a courtesy if they provide us with a gift card that does not belong here. We have dealt with this prior with no complaints.  

     We already had given the gentlemen a $30 discount for the inconvenience although it truly was not our fault. Our Franchiser sold the corporation to **** * ***** in August of 2023. If I had access to the funds he was providing of course I would of gladly of taken them to make the customer happy and to return. The corporation will not allow us access to those funds as we are not allowed within their ecosystem as they sold out to our competitor. As an independent owner I tried to rectify this but my hands are tied.  I am happy to work with the client to welcome him back at another introductory rate saving him an additional $30 which would in turn pay for this appointment as he received $30 in discounts for this initial appointment in which he is making a complaint.  In which he thoroughly enjoyed and mentioned in his review.  Plus the customer receipt was for $79.90 not $100 I  enclosed this along with his review.

    If there is anything else we can do to rectify this issue we are more than happy to. We charged at a discounted rate to cover the cost of the employee and their time again in which he enjoyed the service.
