I buy precious metals from a lot of places online. Normally shipments ship out within a couple days unless there is a demand issue. Then they send out notifications of delay. ********** has not notified, nor can you even contact them in any way they give. You cant check on status, you cant get a refund, nothing. Its practically stealing. They take your money and nothing. I cant even imagine how many people they do this too. Im assuming they dont have the product at time of purchase and are waiting for spot price to change so they are profitable or they just never deliver.Business Response

This order is 10 days old our shipping times (as stated on the check out page before the customer checks the box that states "I agree with the terms and conditions" ) are 3-5 weeks assuming there is no unforeseen delays.
If this customer wasn't happy with those terms he should NOT have completed the order.

I am rejecting this response because:I've already complained here and got a response. Nowhere on their website, order form, or confirmation states 3 to 5 weeks for shipping. This was the last response I got at the beginning of this month through the BBB from Gainesville. I don't know how their business is but they are the slowest in the industry. I just want my silver that I paid for now almost 5 weeks.

Ordered product on 7/31/23. Products are listed on web site with zero indication that said products are not readily available. My speculation is that they do not have product in stock. This is a deceptive practice; claiming covid delays is highly questionable when all other on-line dealers have seemingly been operating as normal for well over a year. Entity does not reply to e-mails (four were sent; none were responded to). Calls were made, and only one ever got through (coincidentally, today). Spoke with customer service; sounded very nervous. It shouldn't take over thirty days to ship out a very small order.Business Response

This customer did call our office and was verbally abusive to our customer service rep as she tried to explain it doesn't matter how small (******) your order is everyone is treated equally, and you have to wait your turn he again was screaming abusive language and we disconnected the call No body deserves to be treated like that. we do not allow our employees to be abused on the phone, This customers money was refunded and he is blocked from ordering from us in the future.Customer Answer

I have made 3 orders from Gainesville Coins LLC. Order # ****** ordered 7/13/23, Order# ****** and order# ******. The first order was to be shipped by 8/11/23 and the other 2 after my checks cleared. All checks have cleared. I spoke with a Representative 2 weeks ago and they informed me the product was available and needed to be processed and shipped. I was informed it would be shipped the following week around 8/16/23. All three products are the same and are still listed for sale and in stock. Representatives will no longer answer my phone calls and their E-mail for **************** is no longer available. All I request is delivery of the product or a refund of balances sent.Business Response

Transaction Date 8/3/2023 GC said there would be shipping delays, when I called they said normal shipping is 15 business days, which is not listed on their web site.My complaint is that we are at 21 business days. I have called numerous times, the representative will not even give me a rough ship date, all that is said is you will get a tracking number when it does ship, but have not even been given an ETA. On 8/16/2023 an order for silver rounds was placed via internet with Gainesville Coins: the charge to my debit card was a total of $222.81. Gainesville Coins acknowledged the order via email on 8/16/23. Rounds ordered were listed along with the prices and the shipping costs: no shipping date was given, nor was a shipping method ( states: "Standard shipping" ) and no tracking given. Their business statement states that they provide, via email, the ship method and tracking. After no contact from them in 12 days, I tried calling: as many complaints note, they either don't answer their phones or leave you stranded on hold until you give up. Since talking to a person was obviously not an option, I went to email - which also got no response. Checking both their ****** reviews and BBB complaints, both the complaints filed and the 1 star ratings have gone to the moon in recent days - obviously they are not filling their paid for orders . I don't have a significant amount of money at risk here, but that is not the point.Business Response

7/17/23 order # ***-501668 purchased 373 ounces of silver Buffalo rounds for $10,071.41. Then told allow a 10 business day hold on checks and 3 weeks processing before shipment. They required a check within 5days or would charge my credit card on file a $500.00 "holding fee" penalty. On 7/20/23 they emailed that they received my check. On 7/21/23 the money was taken out of my account. After waiting over 3 more weeks, I called to find out how much longer to receive my order. I explained that the money went out of my account the very next day and 3 weeks has passed. He said I still have to include the 10 BUSINESS day hold on checks because they still have to wait to actually get the money even though the money was sent to them and taken out of my account. I asked him.....Do you even have the silver there ? He said yes. I asked Why do you advertise everyday on ****** selling silver Buffalo rounds and delivered in 2 weeks but you can't do that now. He didn't know why it was on ****** but it's there everyday ! He said it just takes weeks getting all my order together because they're just so busy. He assured me he would check on the order and either leave me a voice-mail or email tomorrow. I never heard from him. I called back to talk to him and was put on hold and then disconnected. I've called over and over and the phone just rings or it says leave a message and they NEVER call you back. I read the reviews and realized this is their normal behavior. I did my part, they need to honor their part. Maybe quit selling silver until all orders are completed. 6 weeks now waiting on them having $10,000.00 of my money and ignoring my phone calls and never once an email update has me very suspicious of this silver company now.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: That's just a flat out lie. I talked to a young lady and someone that sounded like a nice Asian man. I also left a message saying I wanted a phone call back or I would be reporting your company. I did receive my coins yesterday and they are beautiful but I lost money when the price of silver dropped a few weeks ago by waiting so long and the customer service is awful..... I won't be back. On June 28th, 2023 I purchased 20 1 OZ Buffalo Silver Rounds on-line for a total purchase price of $512.45 (with shipping). The order number is ******. The online sale did indicate that the the order would be delayed until 7/20/23. I did send a check and received an email on July 5th stating that they received my check and that the check had to clear before order processing. The check has cleared. As of this time, the order has still not shipped. I have called to the customer help line on 4 different occasions. Each time the rep stated they were unable to provide status. On 2 occasions they stated they would escalate to the shipping manager. The last time I spoke to them in person, they provided the name of the shipping manager. I sent an email on Tues Aug 22nd and have still not received a response. I left a voicemail yesterday stating that if I did not hear back from them during the day that I would file a complaint with the BBB. They never returned my call. I would like to have the silver rounds sent by Sept 6th or I would like my money refunded. I am very skeptical that this is a legitimate business.Business Response

Also attached is my order from Gainesville Coins LLC that shows i was billed the said amount to credit card info shown below payment.
Never received coins. Could not provide any chance of a ship date. Cancelled order and was told I would receive a refund in 3-5 business days from a lady in customer service.
All of my information is correct on your current website. So I'm not sure what the issue is.
