    Complaint Against Unishippers - Freight Forwarding Company Business Name: Unishippers Nature of Complaint: Billing discrepancies, excessive fees, and unfair charges We have been using Unishippers freight forwarding services for over a year, and we have encountered ongoing issues with their billing practices that have caused significant inconvenience and financial discrepancies. Below are the key complaints:Discrepancies Between Online Quotes and Invoices:The invoices we receive from Unishippers often do not match the initial online quotes provided. This creates inconsistency and unpredictability in our shipping costs.Excessive and Unexplained Add-On Fees:The invoices frequently include unexpected additional fees that were not part of the original quote, leading to increased costs.Time-Consuming Invoice Corrections:We have had to spend an excessive amount of time scrutinizing and correcting invoices due to these discrepancies. Each invoice requires thorough review and multiple follow-ups for resolution.Overcharges Due to Reclassification of Goods:More than 75% of the time, the invoiced amount exceeds the quoted price.The reason provided is that the freight company has reclassified the goods, leading to a higher charge.However, when we ship the exact same goods with the same freight company independently (without Unishippers), we do not incur these additional charges.This pattern has occurred across multiple freight companies, raising serious concerns about Unishippers billing practices.Charges for Shipments Not Picked Up by ***:Unishippers invoices us for shipments even when *** fails to pick up the shipment.We then have to individually review each charge and dispute it, causing further frustration and unnecessary effort.Desired Resolution:Revise the invoices as per the original quotes and resend it to us for payment.

    The company, Unishippers, has contacted us multiple times a week for the last three weeks. We have told them in email and on the phone that we are not interested in their services but we still are getting phone calls as recent as today. They are pushy and want to know why we dont need their services. I know they are receiving my emails about not being interested because I get replies. We do not want to be contacted by this company anymore.
