    First, the work we needed to have done was because of Hurricane *** and everything was taking longer because of the storm. The cage was completed and looks good. However, we did have a lot of frustration during this process. Some because of the county permitting issues, some communication issues, and a lot because of how long it was taking. First, the cage took significantly longer than initially promised. The contract stated 7-9 weeks, which I thought was impossible to accomplish, and thought it could be done in maybe 4-6 months, but it took almost 16 months to complete. Waiting for and getting through the engineering process took about 8 months, the permitting process took over a month and it took about 4 months to get our cage through the production process. In December of **************************************************** January of 2024, we were told we were next on the list and we were told that for approximately 2 months. When the cage installation started, we were told it would take 7-9 days, but it took 15 working days over 4 weeks. The team installing the cage didnt speak English and we had significant trouble communicating needs and requirements. This caused several changes and some frustration for all parties. Overall the cage got installed and looks good, but the process wasnt great. We were never told it would take longer than 7-9 weeks--our expectations were never set and communication was lacking during the entire process. We had to call to get any kind of an update. Until I saw that the permit was purchased, I started to consider that we were being scammed, but ultimately everything worked out.
