I needed to replace my air condition unit so Comfort Central air was my choice since they are several blocks away After the installation six mos. later water was in the pan the co. came out ,said the coils needed cleaning. Coils were cleaned in place for 350.00.A few mos. later the water was back, co. came out again and said coils needed cleaning $550.00 coils taken outside to be cleaned. At this point after spending so much money on the unit I don't have money for a second cleaning. I was told to buy a contract for a yr. /$200.00. This contract I'm told doesn't cover cleaning of coil why should I keep spending money that I don't have. I spoke to the manager numerous times about the water This is the third and last last time I will send out a tech. ***** came out and said the coil and pan need to be replaced. I get a call from the manager stating the coil will be cleaned for $550.00.I told my son what was said and he looked up the owner since I had ask several times to no avail. Owner was contacted and the next day. The owner ask manager about the cleaning of the coil , ***** came in and corrected the manager as my son was on the phone with the owner at the time. I waited over six weeks to get the replacement coil it was installed. To my surprise I receive a bill for $525.00 they gave me a manager discount of $75.00. I was told 2 small corners were clogged. I believe this co. took advantage of me since I'm a senior 74 yrs. this is like a ****. This was under warranty why should I pay again for an installation of a second coil? r
