      SafeLink has the worst ****** service in the industry of wireless service. My sisters and I have called to activate, and later, transfer a cell number from one phone to a SafeLink phone for our elderly mom. After the initial transfer, my mom was not able to use her phone at all, as it arrived damaged and the *** card did not work either. Weve called customer service to get help multiple times over the course of the last week and a half, each time only to get re-routed to representatives that spoke very poor English. With each call we made, we were given the run-around telling us that they cant access our account and that they needed additional information from us in order for them to pull up the account on their end. I had created an Enrollment account for my mom, and despite me giving them the *** that I had created, as well as the security question/answer, the rep informed me that the information I provided over the phone was not enough, and that I would need to retrieve a *** that they sent to my moms cell. I continued to explain that the phone they sent my mom is damaged and the *** card is inactive, therefore the text coming from them cannot be retrieved. This has been the biggest hassle in trying to get anyone to help us, especially to export my moms old cell number from SafeLink and to a reputable wireless company. absolutely DO NOT recommend SafeLink to anyone as I believe this company is a scam, and for all we know, theyre using customers personal information for the purpose of them conducting fraudulent business transactions. Stay away from SafeLink!!

      Customer service and technical support do not know what they are doing. Definitely overseas and can barely understand them. Regret switching to them. Do not port a number or change phone you will get nowhere

      I have never met as much incompetence as I have with the customer service of this company. I can't imagine worse service. Left foot doesn't know what the right one is doing; horrible trouble shooting; horrible problem solving. I wasted HOURS - if not days - of my life trying to set up a phone for my father with them. I did not know that a company with such poor processes can stay in business.

      I have had SafeLink through lifeline since November 2021 and a couple months ago I had to change numbers and I asked was my recertification current, they said yes you are good through 2023. This morning I got a couple weird messages from SafeLink asking if I wanted to fill out a short survey regarding our phone call (I never spoke with them) then another message saying my security settings were updated(I never touched them). Then I discovered my service was completed disconnected, with no notification in text, email, **** mail or any other form of disconnect notice! I have no landline thanks to att disconnecting ours because it's too hard for them to climb hills and mountains and I had to go to the dollar store, buy a phone and time card, $60+ just to call them! I called them and 10 barely English speaking people couldn't even find my account transferred me everywhere but could not help me! I dialed me phone number from the new phone and a lady named ***** answered and said it's her new number as of today! I guess it's ok to hack into and shut off federal connectivity accounts and disconnect them at will!!

      Safelink offered a free phone since it had been 3 years since ive had an upgrade..waited the 3_5 business days...no phone...contacted safelink..was told phone was sent to wrong address and returned to factory...AND they were sorry to say that there were no more free phones available now...after many calls i was able to reach a manager who told me no worries and that another phone would be issued...well that was bull also cause another week has passed and customer service hung up on me after telling me that again there was no phone avaiable for me...iam not happy,,this company is a joke..i know its a Free Phone,,but ****

      I have a government issued phone through SafeLink. They consistently cut back my service. I have 1000 minutes, they shut my service off before I use the minutes. I have unlimited text messages, but they limit them. This April 2, 2023 and already the service isn't working. I have spoken with Customer service at least 10 times last month and only got the phone month last. As a Senior citizen I am very frustrated.

      Had phone for 6months never have access to the internet as promised. Called several times to talk to people who continue to do the same thing.. even though they know its not working

      Absolute WORST customer service on the planet hands down! Non-English speaking overseas call center are extremely rude. They hung up on me twice and absolutely would NOT allow me to transfer my number. They kept giving me bogus account numbers and NTP number. If you value your time and sanity at all do yourself a favor and stay away from Safelink. Don't even consider them for Life Line. Oh, and Safelink's cell service isn't very good to start with especially they're data. Sometimes I wouldn't get my text messages until the next day! I'm surprised I was even able to make phone calls. Avoid Safelink at all cost!!

      So I have been with SafeLink wireless for about a year now and I'm trying to transfer my service because their customer service is not friendly their customer service is beyond anything I've ever seen before I've called nine times today I've spent a period of over 2 hours calling back to back trying to get my account number to change carriers and they will not give it to me I have authenticated my account in every way possible I specifically One customer service agent by the name of r e m l e n and her badge number is ****** she was particularly rude would not let me take it to the next level and just completely disregarded me as a customer so I just want to tell all my family and my friends and everyone I'm the owner of a private share business called creative elements it's an international company and I'm going to make it known to all of my family friends and business partners that this is not the carrier that you want to go through
