    On 01/06/2025 I was promised I would be refunded for money I gave to a Digital Marketing Company for completing a set amount of marketing optimization tasks. The amount was $4090.78. When I attempted to get a refund, they told me I'd have to pay more money to get a refund, and have since been telling me the same thing.

    After thoroughly reviewing the details of the complaint, we can confirm that this matter is related to an ongoing employment scam that falsely uses our companys name, logo, and branding. We have no record of any transactions or communications with Ms. ******** The scam involves a fraudulent website, ******************************** and individuals impersonating representatives of FORTUNE Marketing.
    We were first made aware of this scam in October 2024, when law enforcement in ********* informed us that a resident in their area had been defrauded in a similar manner. The scammers contacted the victim via WhatsApp and directed them to the aforementioned fake website. These individuals are in no way affiliated with FORTUNE Marketing, and the website in question is not ours (our legitimate website is **************************).

    Immediately upon learning of this issue, we took several steps to protect the public and prevent further harm:

    - Website Notice: We placed a banner on the Careers page of our website to alert visitors to the scam and encourage them to only apply for jobs directly through our verified channels.
    - Outreach to Applicants: We contacted all individuals who had applied for jobs with FORTUNE Marketing in the prior six months to make them aware of the scam.
    - ************ Alert: We posted on Instagram to inform our community and provide guidance on recognizing fraudulent activities.

    While we deeply sympathize with Ms. ******* for the unfortunate situation she has experienced, this claim does not pertain to any actions taken by our company. FORTUNE Marketing has never had any contact with Ms. ******** nor have we received any funds from her. Additionally, we do not conduct business practices that involve charging individuals to apply for jobs or issuing refunds in exchange for additional payments.

    We believe this complaint is a result of the fraudulent activities conducted by these scammers and is misdirected at our organization. While we cannot control the actions of malicious actors who misuse our logo and name, we remain committed to transparency and to taking all reasonable steps to protect the public from these scams.

    We hope this information provides clarity regarding this situation. Should you or Ms. ******* require any further information, we would be happy to provide additional details or assist with law enforcement efforts to identify and address the perpetrators of this scam.
