  Beware of FM Quality Fence corp aka Quality Fence and ********** on Thumbtack.This guy doesn't care about anyone but himself. He doesn't listen when you have a problem with his work. He doesn't try to help fix anything. He will show up whenever he wants to....never when you need him. He ONLY cares about getting paid. And I paid upfront over 4k....as I needed the job done FAST and then he proceeded to leave me hanging -- he took over 4 months to show up and it costed me WAY MORE money bc I had to do my own drainage system. 4 months making me wait is ridiculous. He never showed up as promised. Im shocked he even showed up after 4 months. But when he did, it was a huge mistake by me even trusting this guy.He performs fence installations without any permits at all, which is a clear violation of building codes and puts homeowners at serious risk of penalties or forced removals. This happened to me. I'm almost 80 years old... and I was taken advantage of.He is on Thumbtack and That app doesn't care about homeowners. Don't hire. ******. Warning.Avoid FM Quality Fence Corp (aka Quality Fence and **********). They act like thugs--harassing for money, show up randomly, do unpermitted sloppy work, then will turn around and call the city on you. Total scam artist. Absolutely the worst! Stay far away.

  Extremely Disappointing Experience with ***** ****** – Poor Communication, Unprofessional Conduct, and Substandard Work I hired ***** ****** (FM Quality Fence Corp) for a second project after a previously acceptable experience. Unfortunately, this follow-up job was a major mistake. I trusted ***** to complete a concrete and drainage job, and he assured me he would do the work for the cost of materials and labor to support his team—what I was told would be a fair deal. However, I ended up paying over $8,400 for a job that appears to have cost under $3,000 in total materials and labor. After paying 50% up front in November 2024, it took nearly four months for him to begin work, despite my repeated outreach. Communication was poor, and the delays were constant, with one excuse after another. When the work was finally completed, it was rushed and substandard. The concrete was not properly sealed prior to painting, which has already resulted in bubbling, peeling, and a dangerously slippery surface—an obvious safety issue, especially in a household with elderly and disabled individuals. A non-slip additive was never used, and now I must hire licensed professionals to redo the entire job. Additionally, the payment process became extremely uncomfortable. Although I had every intention of completing payment, ***** became aggressive and confrontational. I ultimately had to involve law enforcement to have him and his crew removed from my property after a tense encounter. This has been the most stressful contractor experience I've ever had. It has caused emotional distress for my family and left us with unfinished or defective work that requires costly repairs. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience and urge others to exercise caution before hiring.

  Terrible service never never never call back after job is done its good bye Dont ever use this company. Takes forever and never communicates never. No answers to texts or phone calls. Workmanship just okay. Takes forever and sometimes never. Most irritating thing is he wont even send u a text or call in a timely fashion DONT USE THIS GUY

  After 7 months of monthly follow up and paid the permit fees for a fencing project ************** disappeared. He is not returning the fees of the permit $690 that charged me upfront. Since 05/04/23 Ive been trying to do the work and following up with him. Total Scam. Never do business with this company

  ***** and his crew are straight garbage. This fence/gate install is crooked and he didn't use enough concrete to secure the posts. Also how do you expect powder coated metal to even bond to concrete? It needs a rough or grooved surface for the concrete to stick to. To add insult to injury, this pompous SOB had the nerve to tell my wife that the fence that I personally built on the side of our house wasn't straight. Have you seen the trainwreck you installed?? You want to debate it *****?? Look up your estimate #***. The keyed locks you installed were not new and are difficult to lock/unlock with the keys, not to mention all the sharp metal edges just waiting to cut someone..

  I must say I got lucky to get anything done after I paid the first half of the work. They did a horrible job doing my fences. One of them didnt even open and I only realized that after I paid off the balance, my bad. Don't do business with ***********************. He is quick to take your money but he will not answer the phone after that.
