We bought a new Lennar home a little over 3 years ago. We have another leak in our roof into our guest bathroom. Lennar says out of warranty. They said call the roofer *****. ***** looked at the roof from the ground (no ladder) and said it was wear and tear and said it would cost $1000 to fix. We opened another complaint with Lennar since the work their sub Contractor did was not satisfactory and now we have another leak in same bathroom. We have communicated with Lennar twice and they are saying its not their problem. How can a builder walk away from my brand new build where we have had leaks in the same bathroom and the house is three years old ? we have not heard back from Lennar in over two weeks and we are wondering what our next steps are? Thx. The complaints emails have been coming from my husband who is GRAEME *******. His email is *************** And his number is ************

I am rejecting this response because: it does not give a timeline as to when someone is going to be in touch. I have a water leak in my roof, it is a summer rainy season, and the roof contractor has been out and giving us a quote which we do not feel that we should be obligated to pay we would like somebody within Lennar to give us a reply as to what they will do with our roof since our house is only three years old And we are the original owners

      Sincerely,

Our management team reviewed the situation and stand behind the denial due to the fact that roof leaks are not considered structural. There is nothing further for us to do at this time.

I purchased my home from Lennar in Aug 2020. The home was a prior model and we immediately started having issues with the ** unit not cooling properly and continued to work through their partner *************** in *************, **. I continually had the company out to my address for issues and each time it was something else wrong with the system. We only received a 1 year warranty because Lennar did not register the Lennox HV** system we were stuck with just a 1 year warranty from what was left over. As we neared the 1 year **** I kept reaching out to ****** at ******************** at ************. ****** was my main point of contact. I have texts from both. As Aug 2021 approached I was not able to reach anyone to perform the requested heat load test on my HV** system. I have a 3 ton unit for a **************************************************************************************** electricity because the unit is constantly working overtime to try and cool a home that is too large for the current 3 ton HV** system to handle. I never got the approval for the HV** heat load test. I am incurring the cost of this with another company and would like the resolution of Lennar to upgrade my HV** system to the appropriate size unit. In order to try and help with cooling our home we have installed solar screens on all the windows, added extra insulation in our attic. 14" above the garage where there was none and no wall to block the heat from the rest of the attic and another 5" on top of what was already over the rest of the house.

I purchased my home August 3, 2021, the purchase process was normal and the build process was also as much as COVID would allow. We are now approaching the year **** and for the last four months my **** as well as a decent number of neighbors through the neighborhood have had significant increases each month to our electricity ****. It started out normally averaging ******* however the last four months it has slowly climbed ***** bucks each month, July's invoice is expected to reach ****** per ***** projected usage. These homes are sold as energy efficient however when inspecting the ***30", should be R-38 as Pasco county is in Climate Zone 2, per the national insulation chart, the level was inconsistent around the attic space, lennars subcontractor is expect to come out and put in additional insulation, which will be nice, however it doesn't help the small 3.5 ton air-conditioner that was installed. We were assured that the house would maintain its temperature with that size unit and that we would be efficiently cooled however we have temperature variances all over the house and in spite of the sub contractor coming out and checking the system, the house can't maintain temperature. They have performed an air balance as well as checked the temperature variances, we have a 1-2 temperature difference in some of the rooms but the unit is literally running ALL DAY every day. According to Duke average power consumption is 1.75-2.5 Kilowatts per hour, we are drawing 3 or better. We have tried turning the thermostat up and dropping it to help with mid-day Temps being so high ans turning it down in the evenings ans the unit has to work so much harder which was causing the **** to spike. How this home is efficient when we are so close in square footage for the reqirement for a second AC unit but more over how it's okay that when I touch a wall upstairs that isn't in direct airflow it's warm to the touch, or when I bring it up to the rep, he says nothing can be done for that

I submitted a warranty request for my stucco. I signed the work authorization that stated repairs will be completed within ****************************************************** April. It is now July 20th and the work is not completed. I am disappointed in the progress and the workmanship of the stucco repairs. There are stuccos in area that shouldnt have stucco. I feel like the crew rushed their work in the 3 days they were in my property. While at my property, they took down all the gutters and crushed 2 of my down spouts for the gutter. I have tried to contact the area manager to see when the stucco crew will be back and he has not responded. I would like a Lennar supervisor to supervise the repairs going forward. I would also like Lennar to replace my gutters. Ive also noticed the stucco they used seems to be absorbing the rain water which is concerning. I would like the repairs completed to my satisfaction and in timely matter.
