I paid for a full hour of parking on 5/4/25 in *************** at an Asta owned parking lot. I left before time was up. Now I receive a letter from Professional Parking Management stating that I owe $125, or $85 if paid within 30 days for non-payment. I already paid for the use of the parking spot. This is very shady. I cant imagine how many other people they have scammed this way. Scaring people into collections for something they already paid for. Notice Number on the letter is *********. Asta do the right thing and stop taking advantage of people.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because after tracking the parking areas we used while on holiday in the area, it turns out the meter was out of order on May 4, 2025 at ****. We paid across the street, but it seems like they make all the meters look the same to deceive you.

Attached are the transactions from the meter for May 5, meter is working fine.
The city meter you paid is outside the parking lot and they use a different meter brand than ours.

I am rejecting this response because: The signs were not up on MAY 4th. I was nowhere near your parking garage on May 5th so I don't understand why you are attaching a sign that was obviously not there on Sunday, May 4th, the date you claim I parked at the lot. Also the meter was broken. The button did not respond to go to the next screen. You are showing transactions from May 5th. I did not park there on May 5th. You have the incorrect date. The date you originally claimed that my vehicle was parked there was Sunday, May 4th, 2025. I reject your response. Take responsibility for your company's error. I can see why the signs and meters at your lot are "conveniently" not displayed or working. Why? So you can take advantage of the people visiting the area on busy weekends.

Company issued a ticket to me between the time I got a parking pass from a local business I was visiting on business. I can back immediately after getting the parking pass to put it on my dash. Over a month later I receive a phone call from the previous owner of the car who I know personally, **** form me I have an outstanding ticket and late fee from Asta Parking. I filed a dispute with the company submitting a photo of the parking pass and stated that there was no ticket on my window when I returned with the pass or after my meeting concluded and that they sent the notice to the previous owners address. My dispute was denied and the customer support representative said I can take it to court. This company is notorious for issuing unlawful parking tickets that charge astronomical rates compared to city lots. They are an unfair company that should not be allowed to operate in *************.Business Response

On May 26, 2024, we parked at ****************************************************************. We used the parking payment machine and paid for parking. When we returned to our vehicle there was no parking citation or anything on the vehicle. In September 2024, I received a violation notice from ATS processing services who handles violations for **** rental car. The invoice was for $120. ($90 for parking violation and $30 admin fee). Baffled and confused because everywhere we went we paid for parking. I had ZERO information of where this alleged violation had taken place, because again there was NO parking ticket on the car and I know we had paid for parking. I finally figured out where to look and found a still shot photo taken via a video camera this parking lot has. However, there was no picture of a ticket whatsoever. Had we violated parking, why didn't they issue a ticket so it could have been paid right then and there?? They wait over 3 months to send a bill to the rental car agency claiming a parking violating which creates additional fees. It's shady and not adding up. Multiple people have left the same review regarding this company. People will show them proof of parking payment and they refuse to accept it. Why? It appears to be a long running scam this company is doing. They probably know most cars are rentals and wait to send the bill to the company because I'm sure they figured it's more likely to get paid by the renter without dispute. Well, not the case here. This company is WRONG and this bill needs to be removed.This company provides absolutely NO INFORMATION regarding this parking violation. They just send an invoice!!Business Response

Parked in lit managed by Asta Parking in ********************** on 5/28/24. Paid the box using my card. Stayed the time I paid for & was in my car heading out before time expired. Company sent a $120 unwarranted ticket in the mail. They are scamming ! If you drive out the lot as time is expired they try and ticket you! I parked at ab Asta parking lot in **************, *******, in July 2024. I paid the meter and when I came back to my car there was a ticket for$40 I did not pay it, as I already payed for parking. Now they send me threatening letters saying g they will send it to collections and or boot and tow my car. This predatory business must be reported and should be regulated by the law.Business Response

In all of my life I have NEVER had this issue with ANY parking management company for any of the places I have ever parked (and I lived in **). This company - without any kind of ************** sent two tickets for $90 The first was on a day where I tried paying in the app, did NOT confirm it went through (clearly) and ended up getting charged for $90 for less than 1 hr of my car being parked in the lot (a nearly empty lot I might add on a Sunday) - where at most I would have paid $5 and an app fee to pay through the app for 2 hrs. (Should have been around $6.20 is my guess.)The 2nd time, same lot (within a few weeks of each other) I received a charge for an overage of 45min in the lot after I already paid for a 4hr timeframe. They are telling me I owe $90 for not noticing that I was over the time and that I had to pay it or it would go on my credit. (In this case I paid $10 and an app fee for 4 hrs (around $11.20).)It's one thing to have a sign posted with this information, it's another thing to upcharge people basically 100%. Any credit card company or agency when they are owed, ALWAYS provides information on their policies to the consumer if there were to be a delay in payment. But there isn't anywhere (in the app or from the company directly), where they tried to get the difference owed before sending a bill for $90 (i.e. 30 days, 60 days, collections, etc.).I do not know about the credibility of this company, but I would hazard a guess that if they tried this in other parts of the US where people were more aware and eager to **** they would not be in business. These are the types of companies who rip people off and degrade the whole fabric of society because of their greed and evilness. I will be reporting to the state and federal as well.Business Response

The parking notice *********** for Tag# **BLRN the vehicle was parked for 40 minutes over the paid time frame, however this has been voided as a one time courtesy.
The parking notice for Tag# JD257C remained in the parking lot for 1hr 3min over the time paid. This notice has been reduced to $55.00 as a one time courtesy.

I received a ticket in a parking lot I did not park at. I went at 10:56 am to drop of someone at the restaurant next to the parking lot which is named *** ************** and immediately left to my chiropractor appointment that was at 11:00 am. My car was not in the parking lot for 2 hours as the ticket says. I have proof of my appointment and I am owner of my car. After my appointment, at 12:58 pm, I went back through the parking lot to pick up food which I called prior to picking up. I was out by 30 seconds and there is no way that I could be charged for 30 seconds. I contacted them with proof of my appointment and they completely ignored what I wrote to them. I explained i was given an unfair ticket and they slapped me with the same ticket through email. I did not appreciate how I was not acknowledged because I know better than to be at those kinds of parking lots for more than 10 minutes because of the charge that comes with it. I will not be using ASTA parking ever again, since their cameras do not function properly, they give unnecessary to tickets to probably keep the business running.Business Response

I have been calling and leaving messages to the company and they say that they will call me back with a supervisor and I have yet to receive any call back from no one from the company. On 04/12/2023 I authorized $214.55 on my debit card for 5 days of parking at an Asta parking garage in ************* **. These days were from the evening of 04/12 to the morning of 04/17. A charge of $214.55 went through on 04/18/2023. On that same day (04/18) a charge of an additional $171.75 was withdrawn for the same debit card for parking from 04/13-04/17. This charge was for the same vehicle and same dates that I had paid for with the initial $214.55. I have called them 6 times and everytime I am told someone will contact me. No one has. I have also filed a claim on their website (twice) and again am told via text I will receive a call within 1-2 days. Again, no one has called. I am seeking your assistance in getting my $171.75 refund for dates I had already paid for. Thank youBusiness Response
