      We are writing this review to share our experience with Westgate Resorts. What was supposed to be a short presentation turned into nothing but a high pressure sales pitch filled with misrepresentations and lies. The presentation was led by *********************** who made a series of claims that we have since discovered were blatantly false. **** started by offering us a 2-bedroom suite and we inquired about whether the HOA/maintenance fees were subject to change. Mr. ******* emphatically told us they wouldnt. Additionally, he claimed that we could sell back our time to Westgate if we decided not to utilize it, and even claimed that Westgate would buy back our timeshare if we were no longer interested. The point that influenced us to purchase the most, however, was the claim that we could rent out the timeshare to earn a profit. Using this as an investment vehicle or recouping all the money we spent on the timeshare, both claims that *********************** made multiple times, are what ultimately drove us to purchase. To be clear, the basis of our entire purchase was built on fraudulent claims by *********************** and his associates. To date, we have paid over $8,000 to Westgate Resorts and havent been able to book a single trip. To make matters worse, the maintenance fees that **** told us wouldnt increase have shot up nearly $100 in a years time. This is preposterous! We never would have gotten involved with Westgate had they been honest with us from the beginning.

      Only reason I rated 1 star is I am not able to rate lower. I bought. Without getting into details, I was lied to over and over. I donated 6 $figures that was promised easy to resale at an increase value over time. They now want $3000 to accept it back only to resale it to another sucker. Churn baby churn. Red flags existed during sales presentations that I ignored. *************** "Let the buyer beware". It is impossible to communicate in writing when discussing terms to sell my deed. *************** is to tell he customer whatever they want to hear then give the shaft! Money hungry without scuples.

      Almost bought a timeshare here. Really loved the place but the staff in this place is ridiculously rude and unprofessional. 1st I come to a filthy unclean room. The manager attempted to make things right by giving me a room credit but housekeeping never came back to clean. They knocked and was told yo come back because I was showering. I stayed here all of 8 days. Then they attempted to charge my card twice because they supposedly didnt see the credit but I didnt get my money back instantly when they made the mistake it has to stay as a pending charge until it falls off. Went to front desk to see how they can make it right since they love to text between 1050-3:00am. He was rude asked if Id be making anymore room charges I said no because Im leaving tomorrow. I also told him I would be leaving late and he said are you asking me or telling me. I almost said telling you. Its the least yall can do since all the giant f **** But I didnt. He said h*** give me until 11. I almost put 20 g down for a time share I will never buy from the one in Orlando. Maybe somewhere else. Where the neighbors dogs arent barking and running across the floor at 6 am waking everyone up. At this point I just want a refund. I paid over 2k to this place just for you all not to provide half a decent service. Head to ******* to buy their time shares if youre interested in good deals and service.

      **************, first and foremost, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced involving your stay as our valued guest. Please be assured that Westgate Resorts demands strict adherence to the Westgate Standards of Excellence, our service protocol, at all times. We do not ever condone discourteous or unprofessional behavior.Although we offer continuous training for our staff, our most valuable tool to monitor individual staff performance is comments from our guests; therefore, we truly appreciate your efforts in bringing your experience to our attention.Your detailed observations have been forwarded to the General Manager of the Resort to provide tools necessary to make positive changes.  

      In reviewing your reservation, we were happy to see that compensation was provided by Resort Management during your stay in the form of a $75.00 resort credit and full cleaning service, which our records show was completed and inspected by a supervisor after completion; accordingly, no further compensation will be provided. In addition, please understand that, as explained to you while you were still on the property, you made room charges that passed your resort credit of $75.00 resulting in an increase in the security deposit. Thank you for giving Resort Management the opportunity to address these matters while you were still on the property. Should you wish to visit another Westgate Resorts property, you may visit our website at www.westgateresorts.com.

      All Concerned,I am writing this on behalf of my parents, they were lied to and they are now suffering the woes of trying to cancel their contract. They were expressly told there would be no maintenance fees, yet they now are asking for these fees to be paid after my parents second attempt to use them........Notice i said second attempt and not first. Now that my mom has called them with this complaint, they have basically called her a liar, called her stupid, and told her she needs help, when she expressed her anger and frustration with being lied too. These people are con artists and thieves, notice they only have 1 star reviews on the site that matters.

      Pay Close Attention to My Post. I encountered a horrific experience with Westgate Villas- Central Florida Investments, *** ****************************************************************************** in February 2024.Their advertisements, hospitality, well-coming and incentive offers for 2-3 night vacation in Florida for a 90 min presentation is Bogus. Several of Their lodging accommodations are unsatisfactory. However, whats more disturbing is the fact that during the presentation you are manipulated and persecuted into purchasing vacation property that, you most likely wont get a chance to actually see. What Westgate Florida Investors show you are demos that dont depict your actual purchase vacation Villas. Several Villas are poorly maintained. Secondly, dont sign anything if youre not willing to read all the fine print or have a lawyer on deck to review these documents. Finally, underneath those smiling faces were cut-throat Closing Officers and Scam Artist ************************************ Do your research, pay attention to the demographics of the population at Westgate Florida Villas. Which caters to a huge Hispanic population. My mother is Cuban and my dad is a black man born in **************, so Im keeping it on a REAL TALK LEVEL! Henceforth, I was fortunate to get back most of my deposit without the help of the BBB Representative ***************************** from ********, **, who abruptly closed my BBB Complaint, with the full knowledge and understanding that Westgate Villa-Central Florida Investment response proclaimed they closed my account and refunded all my money yet my personal email as of March 11, 2024 maliciously continues to be initiated with daily Westgate Central Florida Investment Membership Account emails daily and all my money was-not completely refunded! FYI, BBB and Readers, It appears someone maybe collecting kickbacks!Enclosing dont sign any documents until your legal representative reviews them! Entrust in God to Make things Right!

      Rip off, not trustworthy, misleading, pressure, relentless, & after you sign the contract unwilling to meet any compromise. Will literally target your credit with derogatory marks. This has been going on since 2019. Has not been to any of their resorts since 2019. We are a seasoned couple on a fixed income. Do not travel much & not willing to leave any burden on our children to be responsible for. **** not recommend doing business with this ethically challenged company.

      Tried to make a reservation on line in which I made an error. Immediately cancelled that reservation and immediately entered the correct data for a new reservation. They charged me twice. They admit that I made and cancelled the first reservation but charged me anyway for two reservations. When I requested that they refund me the double billing money they said that they would not. They said they would hold that money and apply it to a future reservation. I want my money back!

      We were swindled into buying a timeshare with Westgate without proper explanation after a long sales pitch. The sales representatives exaggerated the benefits and downplayed the costs, and despite upgrading, we still have availability issues. We were introduced to Westgate while on vacation at ****** and agreed to take a tour in exchange for a free night. However, we were subjected to high-pressure sales tactics for hours afterward. We were misled about the timeshare's usage, costs, and rental income. We were not given important information, such as cancellation timeframes and interest rates. Westgate has already been contacted directly about our issues, yet they have not bothered to respond. This whole experience has been infuriating!

      Deceived Scamed and Bamboozled They advertised a $99.00 trip to ********* the only requirement you needed to go a timeshare 90 minute presentation for a 3days 2 nights stay at one of their ***** resorts I meet all of their qualifications to qualify so I was charged $370.00 and told I would receive my money back once I attended the presentation when I arrived I was booked at wastage flamingo bay and charged another $50.00 to get the room key I had no other choice because I needed a place to stay I was told I would receive my money back once I went to the presentation the next day after the 90 minute presentation so the next day I attended the presentation which took 5 hours I asked to end the meeting several times after the 90 minutes but was denied I stayed because I needed my money back I was exhausted and mentally abused with being held hostage by the salespersons hours of sales pressure for me to purchase a timeshare I explained that if they could not handle my overcharge I certainly would not trust purchasing a timeshare but was ignored and forced to continue to stay through the process I was told I would get my money when I returned back to my location of stay when I returned back to my location I was told I should have received my money from the presentation location and I needed to return back to them for my money by then I was upset confused and frustrated no one would help me or call to help me everyone pushed the situation back and forth between both Westgate Paradise Way,, ********* and Westgate flamingo Bay ********* the phone number I was given to get help they couldnt help me and said I needed to send an email about my complaints because there was no supervisor or manager to speak with so I emailed to cs_supervisorwgresorts.com and I still havent received my money back or a resolution to my stressful regretful travel experience with Westgate Resorts

      I wish I could leave zero stars because this company is extremely unprofessional in the way they handle business. Not only did they blatantly lie to our faces, they mislead, deceived and pressured us into a sale. They never once mentioned our rescission period, the yearly % increase in maintenance fees, the membership benefits (that are tiered by the way), the false pretenses of possible equity, or the fact that they were only *********** 90 minutes of our time but kept us there for 5 hours to continue pressuring us into a sale after we said no more than 5 times. I sent a cancellation letter dated on the 10th day and they are telling me that based on a tracking number that is 2 days after the 10th day, they cannot cancel my timeshare due to state law. How does the state law feel about my rights as a consumer that were violated? We lost a family member tragically and suddenly which is the reason for my cancellation. These people sold me this timeshare on the premise of FAMILY (my FAMILY is now utterly and severely broken and irreparable due to our loss) and are doing NOTHING to rectify the situation because of "state law". It seems they would prefer to deal with an attorney than the owners. I HAVENT EVEN PAID MY FULL DOWN PAYMENT! That's how new this thing is and they still are choosing to not help or offer any customer service whatsoever. I requested a callback yesterday and an email with next steps - both of which were not received and so I had to call back today myself to understand where we were at. I spoke to a supervisor whose customer service was extremely poor as he just cut me off and let me know there was nothing he can do. He also stated that they do not have to tell me about my rescission period which just proves bad business. I will be telling everyone to stay far away from this company.
