      I rented a vehicle from Advantage on 6/19 returned it 6/24. I was $100 for gas and it was returned full. I have the receipt and the person who checked in confirmed they made a mistake and would correct it, but they never did. In addition they charged me an additional $14 a day for Insurance I didn't need. I showed them a copy of my insurance documents and said they would remove the charges and again they never did. I would like a refund of all this additional charges.

      I rented a car in advance for 8/14 to 8/20 at Advantage *********, ** location. When I picked up car, I was informed that a daily roadside assistance fee of $5.99 per day was required. I had no choice at the time but to take the car. When I rented the car online, the "total price" I agreed to was $215.02 . After the add on roadside assistance plus other fees, I was charged $261.76 . Advantage owes me $********* are holding renters hostage after they arrive at your facility because there are no other reasonable options at that point in the process. I have traveled extensively and rented cars for work for over 45 years and never before experienced such a blatant scam.

      I rented a car through Advantage Rental at the ***************************** on 8/12/2024 at 10:39 pm. On the screen/tablet being used I had declined the Collision Damage Waiver, the **************** Plan, the Tolls, and the Refueling Fee which the clerk said he was marking. Once marked I was told to initial the spots I declined. When I received the email of the bill everything I declined was included in my charges. 1. I declined Collision Damage Waiver CFAR - billed at ***** Daily for a total of ****** 2. I declined **************** - billed at 5.99 Daily for a total of ***** 3. I declined Daily Tolls - billed for ***** 4. I declined the Refueling Fee and brought the vehicle back with the same amount of gas. The receipt showed the tank as being full when its was only 1/2 full. I was charged *****. Total overcharge was ******

      I reserved a vehicle via ******* for a specific daily rate and amount. When picking up the vehicle there were additional charges and fees that we not communicated in advance. For example, we were charged $16.00 per day for a upgrade because the original vehicle type we reserved was not in stock. We were given miss infomration at checkin and charged insurance fees. We were charged for shuttle services that were not disclosed in advance.

      Date of the transaction: 6/16/2024 The amount of the money I paid the business: $358.94 What the business committed to provide you: rental car was reserved through Expedia for $143.57 What the nature of the dispute is: I declined all unnecessary extra charges in person at the counter, but they charged afterwards without any notice. I signed at the counter, but they falsely added the extra charges that I didn't agree and didn't show me the contract on the date. They also refused to give me a receipt when I returned the car. They said it would be exactly same as I agreed on the date that I rented a car. Whether or not the business tried to resolve this issue: I tried five times to call to resolve this issue and they said the manager would contact you, but no response. Not involved with advertising.

      I was charged $165.98 for a "sand fee" that was not explained to me when I first rented the car. I cleaned the car as best as possible as I have done in the past with prior rentals, yet this company charged me not only a fee but an excessive fee of $165.98. There is no way to completely remove all sand particles from a vehicle. If that was what was expected, then the business should tell the client don't take the car to the beach. I sent two emails, no reply back, I went to the business location to dispute supervisor there advised they cant do anything and that I should email the business to dispute. I have not heard back at all from the business not even an acknowledgment email. I am requesting to get a refund for this excessive fee for "sand". It is not appropriate for a business to not contact the client back in a timely manner. I also called their 800 number and the woman advised she would escalate a call back and I never heard back.

      June ******* Rented a car at Advantage rent a car at the ***************** location. Returned the car as a after hour drop on June *******. Parked their car in their parking lot on June ******* at 4 am in the morning, locked the car and put the keys in their after hours drop box. They are claiming that I didn't return the car until after 1:10 pm on June *******. I had a 6:15 am flight to ****** that morning, dropped the car off at 4 am that morning took the bus to the airport and got on the Southwest plane to ****** at 06:15 am that morning. They charged for for not returning the car by 08:50 am that morning. Never happen. returned it at 04:00 am on June *******. Charges should of been *****. They charged me ****** on my credit card. Never happen. Tried contacting them on June *******. Let a message for them to contact me. Never contacted me. I had flew to ****** and landed when they said I returned their car. Someone needs to stop them from stealing from normal consumers..

      I had originally made reservations with Expedia for a car rental with Advantage car rental according to Expedia i was to pay 277 which I already had paid 88 dollars for insurance. When I get to the rental place they redid the whole bill charging me all kinds of fee's which was not disclosed with the booking. I had told them I did not want their insurance I had my own they said I had to get their insurance or no car. I paid the extra because I had 3 children with me they were tired and I had no other option. I asked to speak to manager and they said its their policy. I never received anything extra from them when I booked the rental stating I had to pay extra and that they only honor their own insurance. Enclosed are the 2 bills. expedia reimbursed me for the insurance which was 88 dollars. But in advantage disclosure it said if i can provide my insurance they would not charge me. When I tried to prove it I was told I had no choice but to get their insurance or cancel my rental in the middle of nowhere. I had no choice but to pay it cause I was not going to put my family through stress especially the kids. I tried to reach out to them by email and telling them about my experience and no resolution,

      Date: June 23, 2024 (Picked up car)- June 29, 2029 ( Return the car)What: Unauthorized additional liability added to the service/contract. The sales agent was verbally informed that I declined any additional insurance due to having my own personal full insurance. Why: I will give the benefit of the doubt that there was an error on the key pad that the sales agent added the additional liability. I attempted to contact the agency to resolve the error before returning the car and after I left. How to make this right?I am requesting a refund for $90.93, $41.93, and $209.93 for a total of $342.79 Action Taken I informed the agent I had insured. I was verbally informed that the additional charge was held on my account. The print on the screen was not clear; I was not purchasing the services I verbally excluded.When I did notice, I also called 6/27 which was consistently on hold I called the customer service line after returning the car and noticed the charge and was told i needed to email them which I have and as of July 5th, I have not heard a response. I did call Priceline to file a complaint against their vendor, and they informed me to submit documentation.Yelp reviews indicate this is a pattern/tack tic with the agency.
