  Absolutely would recommend!! Originally my father joined and decided to put me in for self defense. I started in the teens class and absolutely loved it! The Instructors care deeply and Gabe is excellent!! I loved going all the time and I feel confident walking alone to my car at night and if someone was to approach me I feel like I would know exactly what to do! As a girl these classes were incredibly helpful and I would recommend to anybody who wants to expand their knowledge and skills of self defense! I have tried other self defense classes such as Brazilian Ju Jitsu and it just doesn’t compare to the family oriented style of classes and how this company actually cares! Overall, if you are thinking about self defense this is the only place you should go!

  Shaan **** is a great place for self defense, it embodies all of the aspects, not just physical altercation. The instructors are top notch and strive to be motivating without being overbearing. They adjust movements for physical differences and make it an environment older adults can participate in as well. I don't hesitate to give Shaan **** a great review...honest, ethical, knowledgeable and friendly.

  Amazing school for learning self defense. Patient, inclusive instruction. A great level of camaraderie among fellow students. The environment is so conducive to learning while having some fun dealing with a serious subject. Shaan Saar is delivering on everything they said they would. Very happy to have signed with them. Highly recommend checking them out. Well worth your time and money.

  It started with a *******, which I was gifted on my birthday. It is, hands down, one of the best gift I’ve ever received. Our instructions are amazing. They train so that we can get their best and be our best. I’ve been able to build on my mind, body and self esteem through the encouragement and support of our instructors and fellow classmates. You learn at your pace with relevant practices.

  Absolutely amazing school. Motivating, inclusive and very different than what I could ever expect from a self defense school. Absolutely worth every penny & it’s honestly changed my life! Small classes and family friendly too!!

  I absolutely love my classes with Shaan Saar Krav Maga. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable about practical self-defense tactics and also about offender psychology and how to anticipate their actions and most importantly, how to survive. I feel confident in the skills I’ve learned and the classes are prepared thoughtful and with the students in mind. When considering the vast options for self defense in Orlando, Shaan Saar stood far above the rest in knowledge and technique and environment. I especially appreciate how the curriculum is constantly being updated to fit current situations. The training is demonstrated in ways that are highly accessible and efficient, and I appreciate that the program is here to help students like myself be ready and educated in matters of self-defense. I didn’t have any prior experience and after several months, I feel so much more capable of protecting myself. If you’re looking for a great training program to build self-defense combat skills in a really positive and welcoming environment, definitely check out Shaan Saar.

  Very happy to have signed up with Shaan Saar for self defense instructions. They offer a safe and supportive environment that focuses on strictly defensive tactics that have been proven to work on the real world. The instructor is about 5 steps beyond knowledgeable and always encouraging. The classes are demanding but empowering; you'll leave exhausted but feeling great about yourself. On top of it all, they do a wonderful job of fostering a friendly and supportive community outside the classroom
