      Scooter Bug totally ruined my Disney family vacation. I have severe back issues and rented a scooter in order to keep up with my family. We picked up the scooter the first day and while a little concerned over its beat up appearance left for the park. Bad move. Within two hours, the battery was dead. We called and a replacement was sent to the hotel. Went back to the hotel, it looked newer and worked for a few hours at which point we stopped and recharged it during dinner. Next day, after being charged all night, the vehicle once again quit after a few hours at the park. Once again we had to return to the hotel for a replacement. Went back to the park, used it till dinner when it was recharged to last the rest of the day. KEEP IN MIND EVERYTIME I WAS FORCED TO RETURN TO THE HOTEL, I MISSED OUT ON SO MANY PRECIOUS MOMENTS WITH MY 3 GRANDBABIES. After breaking down on the third day, we gave up and simply rented a wheelchair at the park, making for much more limited mobility. Finally on the fourth day, we were able to secure a scooter from a different company and just wrote off the one we had rented from Scooter Bug as a loss. I will NEVER rent from them again.

      Scooter Bug was easy to book and had good communication. The initial scooter issued was not in good working condition. While they did replace it by the next day, the second one would lose charge by late afternoon. Rather than call again and wait again I simply charged it mid day and any time I found an outlet. I would expect a scooter that would hold a charge for a full park day.

      ScooterBug is extremely convenient, dependable, and reasonably priced! I give 4 stars because options (i.e., cupholder and sunshade) were not offered during my call. I needed a scooter due to healing from bunion surgery and still needing surgery on the other foot. I have Arthritis, get shots in my knee, and the previous shot was wearing off but it wasn't time for another shot. The scooter was a lifesaver during a 5-day family vacation to Walt Disney World (WDW). Upon arrival, it was waiting at the Bell Stand at our WDW resort hotel. The Bellman was quite knowledgeable and easily instructed me how to use the controls. Because I had never utilized a scooter before, he had me demonstrate. I operated it through the lobby area and did so with success and ease. He did notice that the headlight was not operating and advised me to call for a replacement. Later, I discovered that the "floor mat" was slipping each time I got on and off the scooter. Most of the nubs underneath the mat were worn off, which prevented proper attachment. I called for a replacement the next morning. It was waiting that evening upon return from the park. Fortunately,
      the replacement did not have either issue and worked very well. The dial for rate of speed was most effective in trying to match walking speed of my family. The dial was helpful to avoid others who made sudden moves in front of the scooter, but completely releasing the activity control was the best solution. Bus drivers, Sky Liner employees, and Ferry boat personnel were ScooterBug familiar and efficient in loading on/off each mode of transportation swiftly and safely. Even with spending nearly 7-8 hours per day in a Disney Theme park, the battery charge only went into the yellow level at the end of one day. On the other days, it merely reached the lowest green level. Overnight charging was so easy. Taking it to the Bell stand made return a breeze. Without ScooterBug, I could not have enjoyed vacation with my granddaughters as I did!

      Very poor customer service. They don’t deliver on time and the scooter is in poor shape. One of the batteries lasted less than 2 hours.
      I would recommend renting from Disney or any other vendor. I would use scooterbug as a LAST resort.

      Scooterbug was convenient and cheap. I liked how we could leave the stroller with bell services once we were done and that we picked it up there too. I’m not giving it 5 stars because our stroller had holes in the bottom.

      I was very pleased the scooter was ready to go at the hotel at the time agreed.
      It was very easy to operate, and I was able to match the speed of my walking companions while at the Orlando area amusement park. You can use a dial to set the speed you want, so I dialed down for entering and exiting elevators and other areas with close quarters. Smooth, no lurching.
      It held a charge all day, so I only had to recharge overnight.

      ScooterBug is a fantastic company. Their customer service us professional and puts the needs of the client first. Tiffany went above and beyond to assist me with a scooter that was experiencing mechanical problems. They are efficient and the replacement scooter was extremely efficient. The charge lasted all day and it handles very well with a 71 year old woman driving it.
      I highly recommend this company to anyone needing to rent a scooter. Disneyland charges $80 a day. ScooterBug beats that hands down and delivers to your hotel

      I have now used Scooterbug at Disneyland and Disney World. Both experiences were great. My first scooter at DW was having a few issues. I wasn't sure I would even make it back to my resort. I called them from EPCOT at 10:00 at night and got a great representative who, after quickly troubleshooting with me, agreed I needed a different scooter. He arranged for another scooter to be at my resort the next morning. The scooters are easy to use and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
