I absolutely agree to all of the below. What a SCAM!!!! I got so amazingly aggravated that I lost my temper and told them what to do with the money that I spent on this scam! Just a little background, my wife had suffered a stroke not long after purchasing this package. Then became sick again, which caused us to cancel our reservation. As of today my year is up and it would result in a renew fee. I will never purchase or stay in a Holiday Inn going forward! WHAT A SCAM!!!!!!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

We’re so sorry to hear of the
struggles you and your wife have been facing with her health, and we wish her a
full recovery. While our packages do expire after a year, and we
typically charge a fee to extend past that time, we can appreciate the
difficulty of your situation. We’ve asked the team to reach out to
you. Thank you for sharing your comments.Review fromDiana K

If they call you and keep harassing you, don’t give in. The things they tell you are misleading. What you were actually booking is a hotel stay so that you can go over and tour one of their resorts while they harass you again to try to buy a timeshare. You are very limited to the dates you can travel and if you cannot fit it in with their minuscule availability, they charge you to keep extending it. They give you a list of places that when you ****** them, they look like awesome places to stay…. They might be awesome but you are not actually staying there. instead you are booked at a hotel to tour these resorts. They actually told me that some of their resorts allow pets. That is very far from the truth. Before you waste your $300 plus dollars, do your research. Then if you are interested in a nice hotel, call Marriott!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Our vacation packages are deeply
discounted, and for those interested in learning about our Club and benefits,
they can be a great alternative to prevailing rates. In order to offer
more tour opportunities at the best possible rates, we work with partner hotels
in many of our locations. This is always discussed with our guests prior
to booking. We’re sorry to hear of all the confusion surrounding the
terms of your package and have asked the team to reach out to you. Thank
you for sharing your comments.Review fromGwen S

Holiday Inn Club Vacations…Hmmmmm what is there to say about them? NOTHING good, that is for sure. They’ll scam you, hold you hostage, lie, and deceive you. We are constantly pestered endlessly to attend “Owner Update” meetings, which makes for unenjoyable vacations. They’ll tell you it’s a NO OBLIGATION presentation, but they WILL NOT let you leave until you’ve signed a Contract. On one trip our room was disastrous, and even had DIRTY UNDERWEAR LEFT BEHIND. I’m sorry but what am I PAYING THOUSHANDS of dollars for?! Clearly, it’s not even for a clean room. This was what I’d expect to find at Motel 6. We’ve paid more than $11,000 for this unit and again for what? We’ve been Owners for 7 years now, have always told there’s open availability, yet, in 7 years we’ve only been able to travel a few times, because of the amount of unavailable dates Holiday Inn Club Vacations provides. Save your money, and your soul!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Well I have a list of issues but I will just the one of many they do not inform you of.
OK. You wish to go to one of their properties on a certain time period, let's just say their property in Galinburg or Cape Canaveral. So you go on the site to make a reservation with your "points". We'll guess what? It's booked up for the 3 month period you wish to choose.
So then you find out by backdooring the site they have plenty of rooms for people who are not " members" for a cost.
So basically even though they have availability, you as a "member" cannot book a room with your points, even though you pay all the fees to be a member.
Basically you do not need to be a member to visit their prime locations during the location prime times for a lot less than if you are a member.
They don't tell you this. Plus the are misleading about So many other things.
Save your money. Don't join. Just book the location as a non member.
Another thing and I don't know who or how they they do it but if you post a review like this on multiple sites those sites reject your review.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Roy, we're sorry for any confusion
about Club availability. Some of our inventory is made up of units that
haven't been sold yet, and we're responsible for the maintenance costs. To
offset this, units may be rented. In light of the frustration you’ve
experienced, we’ve asked the team to get in touch and try to help. Thank
you for sharing your comments.Review fromNick H

The attitude from managers in las vegas is awful and rude. Especially the one named Scott or something. He needs to be educated as a kind person and definitely not qualified as a salesman.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

Our tour representatives are
passionate about helping guests learn about the benefits of Club Membership,
but we never want that passion to translate into negative pressure. We’re
sorry to hear of your disappointing tour experience, and we’ve asked the team

Like the recent reviews i just saw, I was tricked by one of the IHG representative on 4/25/2023. I was also told that, due to an IHG 40th anniversary celebration, I was being offered the same 4 day 3 night package for $249 deposit, and that upon arrival also at my destination, I would receive back the $149 in cash back after tour. The rep also was pushy about the "survey" requirement, but when I asked questions he seem to quickly skip away from them! I explicitly ask what it was, and was told it was a tour, and didnt say anything about this being a timeshare. He also said he was adding something like 15,000 points to my IHG rewards membership at the end. After reviewing the information sent to me through email after they made me say my card stuff, which didn't tell me they charge right then. I realized that this trip requires a time share meeting. I tried calling yesterday to request a refund because none of this was told to me, but the rep said it can't be refunded, Therefore, I am using BBB as the others have. I am requesting my full refund of $249, since the rep was completely dishonest about what he was offering to me, and tricked me with misleading information. Not to mention I have health issues which big medical debt, so it waste of a time for everyone!!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

After spending over $15,000 (and $19,000 in maintenance fees alone) with Holiday Inn Club Vacations, I wish I had a better experience to report. Unfortunately, I have been horribly disappointed by them. I’m sure that as a widowed senior citizen, I was seen as an easy target for the salespeople to pawn a timeshare off. During the sales pitch, this sounded like a great opportunity for easy and affordable vacations. If only I could foresee the nightmare to come.
Eventually, I found that everything I was told was completely fabricated. The option to refinance for a better interest rate is non-existent. No bank will even CONSIDER refinancing a timeshare. Now, I am stuck with nearly $70,000 in debt, rather than the $36,000 purchase price I agreed to. Then there was the potential to MAKE money by renting or selling my points. Again, untrue. There is no way that this is an investment as the salespeople claimed. All of this MIGHT be tolerable, except I cannot even use the points! Availability is extremely scarce. The main place that intrigued me was Panama City Beach, FL, yet I have never been able to secure a reservation there, no matter how hard I try. I am tired of dishing out money and getting nothing in return. If any other type of company had this business model, they’d be shut down!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

1 starI purchased in January of 2020 been trying to cancel . Because of covit pandemic my wife has alot of health issues so we can not travel. They told me there's nothing they can do as long as I owed a mortgage so I refinance my house and paid them in full. Then they told me that I could either forfeit it back to them or sell it.Review fromRizk S

It’s the bait and switch. They advertise a certain place but that’s not where you stay. The room we had was so filthy and had black mold everywhere. It looked like poop was on the clock. I had to pay for an upgrade and was charged by both Holiday Inn and the hotel so it cost me over 700 bucks to stay at a sleaze bag hotel. Then they hold you hostage not offering anything to eat or drink for well over the two hours they say you have to spend. They try to get you to take on a 15k loan to go to their bait and switch “resorts”. It was impossible to make a reservation at the real place. It’s a total con. They play the middle man for low cost hotels and rip you off.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated
