This timeshare company is RIP OFF. We have been trying for almost 3 years since my father passed away and I still can't get out of my contract with them. I have sent at least 6 death certificates and filled out the same paperwork over and over again. We don't want anything back from them just to let us close our account. It is disgusting how they drag this on and on. I should have known it was gonna be a huge headache when we couldn't even get someone on the phone unless I chose the pay your bill option.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I was offered a good deal on a 3 day stay at one of the time share properties to look at their time shares and receive a required a 2 hour presentation. The time and place were acceptable and the agent implied my specific dates were available. He also mentioned I could stay at another Holiday Inn within an hour or so away as this fit my travel schedule better. I assumed my required dates were available and blocked and only needed to set up the presentation time. When I went online to book the dates and stay location, I was not given any options of dates and assumed ny requested dates were blocked. When the notification was received the dates and presentation times were unacceptable to my travel schedule.
In calling the vacation club numerous times I was told the dates weren't available and they only had limited options in the immediate Williamsburg area not outside the area as stated. After 4 calls I was final given a supervisors number and he could only offer a different dates within a year or cancel my reservation. The later was the only offer acceptable option for me. The problem is I had assumed the dates request initially were available and made other reservation based on that assumption. This now creates some new hardships and the time I wasted to resolve the Holiday Inn problem was probably 2 hours. Several times with holds of over 10-15 minutes. I can only say do not believe the Holiday Inn Club Vacations Agents as they will tell you anything to get you to sign up and the company will not back their agents mis-representations.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I have been an owner for over 10 years at Oak and Spruce Resort and initially bought through Silverleaf Resorts. I was guaranteed that membership dues and exchange fees would never go up. Shortly after Holiday Inn Club Vacations bought it their leadership decided to increase the monthly dues by about $20 per month even though contractually they were not allowed to. I hope to be part of a class action law suit against both companies.
Also, since Holiday Inn Club Vacations took over, you can no longer login online to pay your dues, you have to call in every single month because they have not transferred over the accounts to their brand site.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

save your money, its a time share scam with all kinds of fees associated with booking read the reviews, unfortunately they have an iron clad NO REFUND policy. the sales people tell you what you want to hear to get you to purchase it and its literally 100% lies, its not 2 hours its 8 hours, there is no cash back credit they keep it till you commit. sales person told me i could extend it passed a year because of my work schedule with no charge, guess what you cant youll have more fees associated with trying that!!!!!!!!!Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I was given a paper to fill out if we had buyers remorse. It stated it needed to be filled out by midnight the 5th day after closing. We did exactly that, filled out the paper, dated and signed. Because it was a Saturday, I had to wait until Monday to get a certified letter to insure they got my letter. There was nothing stating that it needed to be post marked before the 5th day, just filled out and returned. I am unable to travel anymore due to health issues and age. I have communicated this to them in writing and on the phone. They are now threatening me with ruining my credit. I don't want anything from them except to let me out of the contract .Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated

I was sold a vacation package by Holiday Inn Vacation Club on 4/29/2022 and offered a 3 night stay at their Myrtle Beach resort or any of 15 resorts. I tried to book this in New Orleans or Galveston to use this “vacation” before the expiration date, 4/29/23. They agreed to book me for 4/19-4/22/23, then when I tried to confirm on the same phone call the name of the resort, I was told that the reservation is at a local Galveston Holiday Inn of their choice. Furthermore, if I want to stay at the resort I can pay an additional $249. Otherwise I stay at the hotel and only see the resort during the 2 hour marketing pitch and tour. I am otherwise not welcome to stay at or enjoy any amenities at the resort. I have contacted them fir a refund after reviewing all of the misleading emails I was sent which always referred to a stay at a resort. This company is AWFUL!!!!!!!!! We have only been “Members” since September, and we are determined to end our membership. Our first experience included an enormous amount of lying and deception from their sales personnel. During the meeting, we were told that we could take vacations all over the country at a fraction of the price. We were also told that this was something we could pass along to any member of our family after we died, AND that multiple people could use the membership at the same time by only paying a MAXIMUM of $364.00 per week if you stayed Sunday thru Thursday and save your point. We were also told that as members we didn't need to worry about spending the money we spend traveling back and forth to NC because we could stay at any Holiday Inn hotel for just the fee of 90.00. These were th selling points that won over our business, but we have since discovered them to be outright lies. When we attended a presentation to review our contract and were introduced to a quality assurance officer. She asked us if everything was explained about the great deals and how to save money, to which we replied “yes”. Now we have nothing but difficulty in booking vacations. Then we got a call that said we are not understanding the proper way to use the club so we need to go to our "Jump Off" meeting for 3 nights "free" that only cost 199.00

Holiday Inn has scammed us into purchasing a timeshare and because of their sneaky ways, they have forced me to document everything that has been said. This should not be the way a big company should make you feel, especially when you are paying a small fortune and not receiving much in return.
Our initial purchase was for 100,000 points in September 2021, and we were told we were going to be traveling to all the beach locations we wanted to visit, but when we looked at their website there wasn’t anything available where we wanted to go. In July 2022, we were told upgrading to another 200,000 points would help us get to travel to all the amazing beach locations, but low and behold we were duped because there still are no beach vacations we can travel to as there is never availability.
We have been lied to so many times that it has forced us into getting everything in writing. They kept vital information from us that should have been disclosed. They kept the recission period and the extra fees a secret from us. We attempted to cancel and during that time they stalled the process until we had passed the recission period and only responded to our attempts the day after that period expired.
If you are currently an owner with Holiday Inn, DO NOT upgrade because it will NOT solve your issues. If you are not an owner with Holiday Inn, count your lucky stars and never accept any type of offer, otherwise you will be roped into a high pressure, deceptive presentation and they will scam you into buying their worthless timeshare.Holiday Inn Club Vacations Incorporated
