Carriers use of aluminum coils in *********** is not just poor engineeringits a violation of customer trust and, in my case, their own warranty ************** a homeowner with a Carrier system, Ive now experienced multiple coil failures, mold growth, and over a week without air conditioning during one of the hottest months of the yearall due to Carriers decision to use aluminum coils instead of copper, despite clear evidence and industry best practices that copper is the only suitable choice for humid climates like ******* family has endured unnecessary suffering and health risks, and Carriers response has been slow and inadequate. Their refusal to provide timely repairs or an effective alternative cooling solution is a direct violation of the manufacturers warranty and, under Texas law, the implied warranty of habitability.I have sought legal advice, and I am actively documenting all damages, expenses, and health impacts for formal complaints to state and federal agencies. If Carrier does not immediately address this issue, I am prepared to pursue legal action for breach of warranty and product ************ Carrier: Your ongoing use of inferior coils and failure to honor warranty obligations exposes you to mounting legal and regulatory *************** other homeowners: Stand up for your rights, document everything, and dont hesitate to seek legal recourse if Carrier fails to uphold their promises.Carrier Corporation

Dear Albion ******,
Thank you for contacting the Carrier through the Better Business Bureau. They have reviewed your file and asked that I respond. On behalf of Carrier, I am very sorry to learn of the problems you have experienced with your equipment.
Carrier is very much interested in seeing that the equipment we manufacture performs well. I have checked our records, and we have no prior communication with you from email ******************** or any prior phone calls into our office. We are certainly interested in looking into your concerns but in order to do so we will need some additional information:
- The model & serial numbers of your equipment
- Installation date of the equipment
- Company name and phone number for your installing dealer/contractor
- Company name and phone number of your current dealer/ contractor if different than the installer
- Current Diagnosis/ Leak Test results
- All prior annual maintenance and service documents
- Picture of coil leak
If you would like to email the above information into our office at ******************************* we would be more than happy to review your coil concerns.
Thank you,

Dear Mr. *********************** behalf of Carrier, I am very sorry to learn of the problems you have experienced obtaining replacement parts.
Carrier Corporation is the manufacturer of heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment; we go to market through a distribution channel. The distributors, in turn, sell our products to dealers and contractors within their territories. The distributors, dealers and contractors are all independently owned and operated businesses.
Should a part not be available at the local distributor, your dealer would place an order (PO) with the local distributor, and in return the distributor would check within their local network to see if they have the part, if not they would place an internal order with the manufacture/factory for the parts in question.
I have located a customer service case in our system pertaining to your part concerns and it appears our agents attempted to collect order information to try and track down and expedite for your replacement parts, but we never received a response back with the requested information.
If you still need further assistance, please reach back out to our office **************.
Thank you,
**** *****

I have been trying to get a replacement filter for my air purifier for 4 months. The **** you talk to our indifferent and can not give a straight answer which seems odd since you are answering phones for that particular company and should have knowledge about the products being sold. In March I had asked for a refund because I had waited 2 months for the filter. Friday I saw that they had the. In stock so I ordered again. Today I called to get an update and I'm getting the same run around as I did last time. I was dumb enough to think the outcome would be different. All I was told was to call back in a couple days if I haven't received an update. This is totally unacceptable and they don't seem to care about their customers. ****** learned.Carrier Corporation

Carrier has by far the most unethical business practices Ive ever seen or experienced. I purchased a 10 year old home which has Carrier HVAC and Heat Pump installed. They no longer manufacture this system or the parts for it. After reaching out to a certified dealer, they told me they will not work on my system since they did not install it. After a second look from a non-certified dealer, they told me to cut my losses because when it breaks its going to be bad and to move to ********** mini-split instead. When speaking directly with Carrier- they told me they are unable to provide product details or comparability for their own manufactured products and that I need to reach out to a local dealer with questions. How can a large corporate company who manufacturers **** not answer questions about their own systems or devices? Could you imagine ***** telling you to talk to Best Buy or ******* for details on their product? Thats exactly what they are doing, placing liability on others for their own manufactured systems and products. Im a phone call away from hiring an attorney, considering estimates to replace my system are well over $30,000.Carrier Corporation

It's essential to note that each of our dealers operates as an individual, independently owned, and operated entity. We do not govern their business practices. For liability reasons, some dealers may choose to sell a part only if they are also responsible for the installation.
If you're unfamiliar with the dealers in your vicinity, please feel free to contact of office at ************** and we would be happy to provide a list of dealers in your area.

1 starBuyer beware!!! We have been long time Carrier customers and had been very satisfied so after Hurricane **** we needed to replace 2 units, one for upstairs and another for down. Our 1 unit upstairs outside has been an issue. It is 4 or 5 years old (there is a 10 year warranty on parts) and we have had multiple issues with it. Paid for service, been without AC for several weeks at a time, multiple times. We have no issue with our installers, they come and have been very gracious to try and get us up and running. This last time was was a full 6 months without AC, we live in *************. We were awaiting a part, first delay was beginning of April...waiting, May, June. I spoke to our installers and asked If I could call directly, stopped by distributor in *****, and finally emailed Carrier and started "the process". We had bought fans, mobile AC units and lived in hot humid conditions for weeks at a time and now for months. Our daughter has Non-******* Lymphoma so I was trying to navigate this stupid situation back and forth from *********** in *********, the rest of the family living in the heat. Finally, a full 6 months later Carrier replaced the entire outside unit. We however had to pay the installation, $1780. We of course paid it immediately, our service people deserved to be paid, they did the work. I reached out repeatedly to the customer service people via email as they had requested and no response. I finally reached out certified mail to president and vp of the company. This escalated to the management response team who came back with the legal contract that protects them. Sometimes there is a difference between being legally protected and doing the right thing. Carrier chose to not. I was not asking for all of the back service charges, only the installation charge for new unit, I had already paid this. So in you don't mind being without AC, paying multiple service charges and installing a new unit every few years...BUY CARRiIER..NOT ME
