      This company is amazing. I notified them to delete my 2 fur babies that passed away. The company sent me flowers. What a wonderful company.

      I spent nearly 4 HOURS trying to get a simple situation resolved. Chewy delivered damaged goods vital to ensuring I can remember my pet prior to their euthanasia appointment.I received platitudes, unhelpful responses, and blatant attempts to simply have me go away. When I was FINALLY promised a resolution and overnight shipping of the damaged goods, I was instead treated to the standard shipping and NO changes. The deliver was not even set up with an overnight label!The incompetence displayed by support staff, coupled with a culture that does not empower staff, creates nightmare scenarios for grieving pet parents.**** this company.

      Chewy will forever hold a special place in my heart as my go-to for all my pet needs. Recently, our beloved 17.5-year-old pet took a fall down the stairs and, heartbreakingly, did not recover. He had been a loyal companion, journeying with us across different countries and states as part of our military family. A few days after his passing, I received a notification that my auto-ship was being prepared for shipment. In my grief, I called to cancel the order and had the pleasure of speaking with ******. His kindness and empathy truly touched me as he offered his sincere condolences, quickly canceled the order, and refunded the money. He even suggested that if the food still arrived, I could donate it to a local shelter. This thoughtful conversation made me deeply appreciate Chewy and its compassionate employees.But what truly overwhelmed me was what came next. To my astonishment, I arrived home from work to find a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a heartfelt message from ****** and the Chewy family. This unexpected and incredibly touching gesture went far beyond anything I could have imagined and has only deepened my loyalty and gratitude to Chewy. I will forever be thankful for their support during such a difficult time.

      This business doesnt double check their prescriptions. I am a vet and have often called in prescriptions for my dog since my clinic did not carry a lot of what I needed and I was tired of being asked for a *** at a local pharmacy. I have been sent medications for another dog prescribed by another vet in the past. I have had medications repeatedly sent to the wrong address after I verified with a tech over the phone where they would be sent to. I have had meds promised to be sent to me overnight and had them come 3 days later. I have had techs call me 1-2 days after I already verified a prescription saying it wasnt verified, resulting in delay of my pet reducing her meds. This is a greedy and poorly run corporation and I think its time I stop giving them my business. I actually found out as a vet I can get a distributor account and get what I need at wholesale price. Goodbye chewy.

Due to the delay, we processed a full refund in the amount of $124.73 for the order on 10/14/2024. Generally speaking, you will see the refunded amount credited to the account associated with the payment method on file used for the order within 3 to 5 business days. However, that timing may vary based on your banking institution.
      Additionally, we reached out several times but have not been able to reach you. We do apologize for the delay and the inconvenience it may have caused.

      I have always received excellent customer service from Chewy in the rare few times I've had to call over the last ten-plus years. I tragically lost most all of my cats in our house fire this year and I thought I'd cancelled all my autoships last year but I had apparently forgotten some. I can no longer access my email addresses due to most of my tech and my password hard copies burning in the fire so I was dreading calling for help but the wonderful lady I spoke with was so kind and helpful. It's been an exceptionally awful year and she really made a difference for me when most people are impatient and dismissive (I also have dementia so it's hard for me to sound sensible and ask for assistance concisely). She was an outstanding help in a company I already really liked working with. I'd recommend Chewy for many reasons, most especially for their customer service group. They also have rarely ever run short on supplies of my favorite products, even during the height of COVID supply problems and they only had a temporary dip in their website performance after PetSmart acquired them and integrated their tech (Chewy's website was exceptional prior to the acquisition and I haven't had trouble with it for some years, now). They really have been an exceptional company.

      I have used Chewy for many years and have had many different autoships with them. I have always had great service.They went way beyond just good service recently. My beloved dog passed away and I called to ask if I could return some unused and unopened autoship products. Not only did they refund me for those products, which they asked me to donate to a shelter or rescue, they sent me flowers for my loss. I am incredulous! They were so kind when I called about the products I wanted return, but the flowers are beyond thoughtful.This business treated me like family. I cant say enough positive things about the impression they have made on me.

      I've been happy with Chewy since we started using them but recently they went above and beyond for our family. Unfortunately we had an elderly dog pass away recently, we had already received our autoship order of food which we now had no use for. I reached out to Chewy to see if we could return it and they did better than that. Not only was the customer service agent very thoughtful offering us condolences but they also refunded my account and told me to donate the food to a shelter (which we did) and then they emailed me a donation receipt. I thought the way they handled this was awesome and I appreciated it very much, but it didn't stop there. Several days later we received a *** delivery of flowers with a very nice note inside about the loss of our dog. This was above and beyond what they needed to do and I appreciate it very much! We'll definitely be using Chewy for our other pets and we'll tell as many people as we can to do the same!

      Chewy truly is one of a kind. I lost my pet. It was very hard to call & cancel my orders then also telling them why i was cancelling. I wish i knew the gentleman's name but he was very compassionate when assisting me. He lowered his tone & he talked about my pet with & offered exceptional empathy. I was perfectly satisfied with his care at the end of my call. 2 weeks later, I received flowers at my door offering condolences to me. This was the most compassionate unexpected surprise I never would have expected. For all of this, in the future, my pet care will go through Chewy without question. Thank you so much!

      I bought my cat's food on Monday, they took the money right away but on Tuesday I Receive a message that says that I needed to call to customer service to fix something with my account.Which I did and they asked me a lot of verification questions and then they said that everything was fixed and that I will receive the food between 24 and 48 hours on Friday 4am I receive another email saying that I should call again and do the same process again and that they couldn't Approve my purchase EVEN THO THEY TOOK THE MONEY ON MONDAY asked for same information twice and told me that I will receive the food not later than friday... And because Is friday Already, and my cat does not have her food and I will have to go to another store anyway I aked them to cancel my order and account And they said that they will give me back the money in 2 business days MEANING NEXT WEEK (I have to wait for the weekend plus to the business day for having the money back when they did not have any problems takingit from me instantly) and like nothing they invite me to create a profile for my pet to keep buying there?!, haha not even crazy, The audacity of this people... I will not buy there Ever again....

      I'm so sorry about your recent order experience. At Chewy, we strive to provide a positive experience with every customer interaction, and we dropped the ball here.

      At Chewy, we only charge your account when your order is shipped, however, when you first place an order, our payment system requests a payment authorization from your bank or credit card issuer, which basically places a hold for an estimated total amount of your order. This authorization/hold is not an actual final charge, but it does immediately affect the available balance on your bank account, in accordance with your banks practices or your credit card companys practices. Your bank will reserve the funds in your account or until your items ship or the authorization expired, and depending on your banks policy, you may see a payment authorization even when the order was canceled. If your items dont ship, the payment authorization will expire, and the funds will be released back to your account. Some banks make take up to 30 days to remove payment authorizations from your account.

      Additional details and information on our payment process can be found on the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) page of Chewy.com under the section labeled Payments (**************************************************).

      I did some digging and was able to locate your most recent order ending in *****. Since that order was canceled prior to shipping, a final charge was not processed for that order. When the order was canceled, the pending hold/payment authorization for those orders should have been released thereafter, but the timing of the release would depend on your banking institution.

      We wanted to let everyone know that Chewy is a great, caring company. We recently, unexpectedly lost our dog of 6 and a half years. Having just purchased food for her from Chewy, which was still unopened, we called to inquire whether the food could be returned. Their customer service **** Dondella, advised us to donate the food (which we did) and Chewy refunded us our purchase price.They followed this up with a very nice note of condolence and a memorial stone hand painted with our dog's name and a rose.We have been Chewy customers for many years and have found in our dealings with them that they are efficient and professional and always caring. We would advise anyone, if you haven't done so already, please give Chewy your business.
