    ***** Tejas laid a travertine deck at our home last spring. The last step was sealing the surface so that we did not get mold and growth on and between the tiles. Unfortunately, he did that procedure on a day predicting possible rain, and it did in fact rain and the sealant was largely washed away. He told us to see what happens and he would re-coat if necessary. In fact, it has grown mold and growth between the tiles and does need resealing. I called him and he promised to come to fix it two days ago. He never showed up. When I called him, he said he would be late but he still did not show up. I finally got hold of him by phone and he promised to come yesterday, but again he did not come and he did not call, and he is avoiding my calls and text messages. I wrote to him that I would seek your help in redressing this grievance and fixing the work, and also that I think he is a nice person and does great work otherwise. I am upset that he has chosen simply to ignore me and I really regret having to contact you. Please help me persuade him to fix this project. Thank you.

    We appreciate the opportunity to address this concern. At the time of the complaint, I was away on a surprise trip planned by my wife for my 50th birthday, which fell on *************. During this time, I had no phone reception and was unaware of the customer's attempts to reach me.
    Since returning, I have been in contact with the customer, and we have resolved the issue to their satisfaction. In fact, the customer has recently reached out to rehire us for another project, which we take as a sign of their continued trust in our work and professionalism.
    We remain committed to providing high-quality service and maintaining open communication with all our clients.
