      I purchased a very expensive, new Miele vacuum from this location (**************/*********) on 6/18/25 and two days later I attempted to return the vacuum, which was never unboxed and still sealed up. I was told by ***, the same guy who sold it to me, that they don't accept returns, despite that there is no visible return policy posted in the store that says that, nor is there anything to that effect on the receipt. The ******** location is owned by the same person so I called them and they told me the return policy is two weeks, but that you can't return merchandise bought at one location to another location. So the only way I could recover the bulk of my money was to purchase a lesser priced vacuum and get the difference of the original vacuum refunded to me. I did not want to do business with them but was essentially forced to buy another vacuum, and I now want to return this second vacuum I got today, which is also still in the original packaging and get my money back, which is all I wanted in the first place.

      Took machine in that needed feeder checked needle threader and cutter checked and cleaned. Took 3 months checking on it frequently parts not in had to talk to mechanic a few times. Bought machine new same one my friend bought same day she has had no problems. Had been getting cleaning and maintenance from *************** store but thats another story. When I first talked to Machs Iv he stated evidently you dont know how to sew cause there is so much wrong and need several new parts. After 3 months got it and took it home would not thread I asked to have it looked at again told mechanics would be gone the month. So I asked please just check it now. I asked why my guarantee did not cover the parts was told under normal wear it would. I take care of my machine. **** was over $500. Plus. ****************************************************** asI dont drive. Still does not feed well stitch length not the same especially if Im L position as with sewing zippers. Thread tangles up inside or machine breaking thread design stitches not clear even with stabilizer they kept suggesting I trade it in. Cant afford that nor $500+ bills health has kept me from going back

      Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We are surprised to be hearing about a problem with this machine 8 1/2 months after we serviced this customer's machine. If this customer is still having a problem with her machine, she should bring it back in for our mechanic to fix the problem. We offer every customer, including this one, warranty service for all manufacturer defects. This complaint should not have been filed absent a request to have us remedy the issues with the machine. Please dismiss this complaint as it is premature and unwarranted.

      I purchased a floor model machine from top vac and sew. They assured me the machine was 110% in great working conditions. The machine had ****** stitches. Brought it home and it immediately gave me problems. They never said I couldnt return it matter of fact I made sure to ask and ***** assured me I could. They claimed they couldnt give me my money back but they advised me to give them a chance to fix it . I took them my machine mind you its over 100lbs and I have back problems . They had it for a week. The issue wasnt resolved and on top of that the employer broke and sent the rod on my machine which they are now saying its not a problem like if the $4,000 I spent wasnt enough for them to worry about their employing braking it. Then I reminded the manager ***** that he said hed replace the machine if they couldnt fix it which it was made clear they were not able to that hed replace it . He proceeded to yell at me and disrespect me when I was being polite . I have spent over $8000 at that store and they couldnt extend me the courtesy of replacing my machine or refunding me which again no where does it say they dont refund on floor models .

      I contacted Tops Vacuum & Sewing in December of 2023 to have a technician come to my home and service the longarm sewing machine I bought from them on 3/22/14. I requested to have it be put back on its 10' frame, have a handlebar function repaired, have a tune up done and be put in running order. The price quoted was $400. Two technicians came on 12/12/23. I paid them $400 by check.The machine didn't work when I tried it. I called the company and was told I would be contacted to set up another repair date.Shortly afterward that day the owner of the company, *******************, called me and insisted I needed a new machine and that he definitely would not send anyone back to fix my machine stating that he had sent technicians to my home too many times over the previous years for warranty work. It is 1 of 2 machines I have purchased from him. He unfortunately confused warranty work with this hiring of his company for repair work. His website says they "repair all brands of sewing machines" and "our certified technicians are able to serve all of ***********, tune up, and general maintenance needs." He called me "stupid" and hung up on me.Since ************** made it perfectly clear that he would not provide the service I paid for, I have had a qualified repair person fix my machine. I had to pay for this second service call which means I have paid twice since Tops Vacuum & Sewing charged me for a service which was not performed correctly.I called the *********** and left a message. My call was returned and I was again told that the company had nothing to offer me. I informed them that I sent ************** a letter on 12/28/23 explaining that I wanted my $400 refunded since the repairs were not done correctly. Within minutes ************** started texting me and called me a "witch.''The letter I sent stated that if I did not get a refund from them by 1/15/24 I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. ************** did not respond to the letter.

      am writing in response to the complaint filed by ******************* concerning the service provided by our company. We take customer satisfaction seriously and appreciate the opportunity to address this matter.

      ******************** service was successfully completed as requested on December 12, 2023. ************** ensured that the machine was in working order and demonstrated its functionality to **************** before concluding the service. However, ******************** subsequent request for warranty parts and additional service could not be accommodated due to a voided warranty and an exceeding number of service requests.

      We regret any inconvenience caused to **************** due to the unavailability of additional service. Unfortunately, given the 10-year age of the machine and the voided warranty, we are unable to continue providing service for her machine. This information was communicated to **************** on January 2, 2024.

      It's important to note that Tops completed the initial service in a timely manner, and based on the circumstances, a refund is not warranted.

      We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

      I am rejecting this response because:the only part of the sewing machine that was tested was a button that raised and lowered the needle.  That part worked for 2needle raises for me then stopped working.  The machine was not loaded with fabric and tested.  I would have done that when the technicians were there but they never asked me to do that and I mistakenly believed they knew what they were doing. I had to pay another company $300 to put my machine back in working order.  I KEEP REPEATING THAT THIS WAS NOT WARRANTY WORK  IT WAS A PAID SERVICE CALL!!!! Perhaps others interested in purchasing machines from him need to know there is a limit to paid repairs and that he doesnt stand behind his work

The events following our service are unknown to us, and we cannot determine the cause of the machine malfunctioning again.
