Honest project overview and quick, efficient work! When our shower started to leak and damage our drywall, TEK Construction sent someone quickly to get an estimate of the damage and create a plan for repair. They were scheduled within the week and did a fantastic job repairing the leak and wall. They also left the work area clean and communicated efficiently thereafter!

Outstanding Kitchen Remodel Experience!I recently hired TEK for a kitchen remodel, and I cant express enough how impressed I am with their work. From start to finish, their communication was outstandingclear, consistent, and always professional. Every step of the process was well-explained, and I always felt confident in their ability to complete the project to my expectations. The installation was seamless, and they stayed on schedule, delivering exactly what was promised. All of my needs were met, and the final result exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend *** to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and skilled team for their home projects. Thank you for a job well done!

They're building a new construction on the right side of me I inform the workers they are taking some of my property they disregarded being and being drunk as skunks. They took over $1,872 ft of my property and tried to give it t new construction they're doing. I was able to get their survey and my survey and the survey was correct the contractors were just being drunk as skunks and not following the survey. I had to wait 3 weeks to get a tree removed from my property from them being so drunk they cut into it 2 ft wide and 4 ft deep and a 30 ft pine tree and it was about to fall on my house. I asked him to put up a privacy fence and Alberto ***** told him to give him a week and it's been 3 weeks. I have proof from them drinking on the job it illegally coming onto my property and destroying it and he's giving me a hassle about putting up a fence I guess I'm going to go to court and get more money try to be nice but someone will get killed or hurt having drunk workers on equipment run.

As the proprietor and project manager of Tek Contracting, I'd like to discuss the recent incident and the concerns shared by both of us.

I personally met with the homeowner and reached an agreement outlined below:

Tek Contracting has made payment for the installation of the fence (pending permit approval for installation).
Tek Contracting has also covered the cost of removing the tree.
Regarding the issue of squatters leaving bottles on the site, we have taken appropriate measures:

Tek Contracting has installed cameras on the premises to address this problem.
Additionally, we have assigned a project manager to monitor the property on a weekly basis to ensure the prevention of squatters.
I want to assure you that we committed to resolving any issues promptly. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and patience. If you have any further questions or additional concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. We are here to address any issues and ensure a successful resolution.

I hired TEK to do a full house remodel and adding on an addition. When they came out before the start of the job, the "owner" Eriberto *****, (he is showing as manager on SunBiz but on their website he is shown as the owner) stated he would be my project manager. I thought great, the job will be done right....boy was I wrong. They showed up really well the first week. Then they would show up 2-3 days a week and never on a Friday. Once most of the addition was complete I asked Eriberto to come by to see some of the issues. He stated he would be by that same day around 2. Never showed up and never called, I had to hear from the worker that he was not coming. Made another appt for him to come out never showed up again and I had to call him. He stated it was a family emergency. At this point I am not feeling well about this company. He finally came by a few days later and I showed him what was wrong....the AC did not work, the fan and light did not work, the trim was not painted, the outside was not painted, the electrical covers were crooked and the slider was leaking because it was not caulked up. He got snarky said all this was minor and I was being petty. Well I was done with them at this point so I fired TEK. I received messages from him stating he was sorry for how he spoke to us. but if you do not know how to treat your clients (you know the ones paying you) then your business will not be around long. My back yard was a shambles and when I went to clean it up I found Corona bottles they hid in my AC box and in a can with gardening supplies. So they not only did a shitty job but they were also drinking on the job, maybe if supervision was accomplished they would not be drinking on the job. I paid them for my countertop, cabinets and sink. I got the cabinets because they came the same day I fired them, so I had them delivered to my house. So I am out a countertop and sink that I paid for. Sham Company who I will be taking to court for the $33K pd.

      Julia ****,
As the owner and project manager of your remodel project, I would like to address the recent incident and concerns that you and I both have. Firstly, we do admit our fault in being unable to attend the two scheduled appointments with you. To rectify this error, we did ask our staff to reschedule at the earliest convenience, but further events transpired before this could happen. For the workmanship issues that you documented, I did acknowledge that some of the work wasn't up to parr and wanted to make those repairs for you. I do pride our work and company on the outcome and never have any problem with dedicating extra time or resources to ensure that a job is completed with full satisfaction.
When you stressed the urgency of my involvement that day, I immediately canceled other client appointments so that I could prioritize you and your project. Upon arrival, you and your husband were upset and I wanted to correct the issues at hand. In attempts to mitigate the situation, I offered to have the repairs completed within the next business day, which was the soonest possible for our labor schedule and supplies. However, this resolution did not seem to satisfy you. I was further received with offensive language, yelling, and insults. Feeling verbally harassed and unsafe for the TEK team, I thought it would be best to allow both parties a break from communication since tensions were continuing to rise.
The next business day, I reached out again to try and schedule repairs in hopes of continuing progress on your project. I did apologize for being defensive, but I take any intentional threat against my company as a serious one. It was at this time, you informed me that you would like to terminate our contract. I offered to complete the tasks that were still pending on the contract in order to provide resolution to plans already in motion. You stated that we would not be allowed back to complete these projects and would not be given admittance to the property anymore. As requested, we provided a current breakdown of payments and work that had been completed.
In this summary, we did not apply a re-stocking fee for the kitchen cabinets since you purchased them and they were on location. For the counter-top slabs and sink, a re-stocking fee does apply because, as stated in our merchandise agreement, they must be returned. Materials such as this, are ordered weeks or months in advance to avoid delays, which is why this policy exists prior to installation. The conclusion to the breakdown showed a credit of $4,022.64 which means that you do not owe us any money as you had proclaimed in your recent review.
In summarizing the events from the day and your current credit with us, I would like to reiterate an important policy within our contract that you signed:
"HEALTH AND SAFETY. Both parties will take appropriate and practical measures to ensure the environment in which works are being carried out is safe to avoid risk of injury. Contractor will conduct its business in a manner such that a reasonable level of care is provided. Contractor reserves the right to cease work in an environment deemed unsafe or where the works are unsafe; illegal; nonconforming to state or local building regulations; when hazardous materials covered by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration or the Environmental Protection Agency are discovered on site. Customer will promptly report any situation, property, equipment or construction concerns to Contractor."

In conclusion, because the environment was deemed unsafe by me for my staff, this is the reason as to why I gave orders for the team to leave the job site. As the owner of the company, I cannot be at the job site with staff all of the time. Therefore, I would expect for any staff concerns to be brought to my attention so that I can address such issues. It was in your review that I first heard of the Corona bottles in question hidden on site, for which I was completely unaware of. We take this accusation very seriously and will be performing our own investigation on our team. We want you to know that since drinking on the job is against our employment policy.
In furthering improvement for our business and satisfaction of future customers, we take every experience as a guide for growth and improvement. In conducting the work that we do, we only wish to build the dream that our customers envision. We are a small family-owned business that truly respects and cares for our clients. I can assure you that all of our reviews are from true clients that we have indeed performed work for. In moving forward, we continue to uphold our health and safety policy for our staff for any environment they must work in. Should you consider TEK again for future projects, we would love to build your dream project given that policies are adhered to.

      Respectfully,

      Eriberto *****
      Owner & Manager
