Windows were installed December 2020. We noticed the framing bowing and water inside the home in late September 2022. The company was contacted immediately with no response for WEEKS. Logs of phone calls to HPA can be documented between my husband and myself. An HPA technician finally came out around February 15, 2023 to inspect. He admitted that our issues were from faulty installation and was going to send a crew to fix. When someone named *** showed up several weeks later to repair, he walked to the back and said scaffolding was never ordered and he would have to reschedule. We've never been able to get anyone back out here since. NOW, there's a hurricane headed our way. I have 2 adults, 3 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats in this home and now have to be thoroughly concerned with the integrity of our home during this storm. I have no idea what kind of damage is down in the walls since water has been leaking in. I already know there's ceiling damage downstairs from the water leaking through the windows upstairs. I need some resolution and we aren't have any luck whatsoever. If anyone does answer the phone we get transferred to someone else who isn't at their desk. June 12, 2023 paid 28K for new windows. They were installed and now I can't get anyone to come finish the job. Have made numerous phone calls and sent multiple emails to the company. NO ONE will respond with a phone call or email. Have contacted my sales rep and he has tried to help but apparently they don't respond to their employees either. I tried reaching out through email the address did not work called agent that came and sold me the windows for my loft ********************* @ ************ three times he said he would get on it he has not been back in touch after 3 calls then called the company complaints and left a detailed message it said with in 24 hours I would have some one reach out and after two attempts no one is calling . I had a home inspector come out to make sure it was the windows and not the roof which both are lifetime warrantys. The inspection showed they did not replace rotted wood around the window and that is where the water is coming in through the ceiling in my kitchen and hall way ceiling directly above the loft windows.I am concerned about water damage above kitchen and dining are and worry if the ceiling will come down . Purchased new windows and screens in 2020. Last year went to clean the windows and every screen was extremally flimsy and bent. Called and had one of their technicians come and try to replace a window scree, we left out, and was told that the material was faulty, and not being used any more, and we needed new screens. Since 1/2/2023 have been calling and leaving messages for **************, their Warranty employee. Finally, on 1/23/23 ******* called and said the new screens were going to be made and we would get a call to get them installed. As of today, 8/18/23 we still do NOT have the new screens. No one answers phone calls, and after numerous attempts to resolve this matter, I am being forced to take my issue further. Ive been attempting to contact HPA for about a month now with an issue with one of my windows. *** left a dozen voicemails with different departments and no one has returned my calls. I was unable to get ok from Hoa and Pasco county for roof project and was tool nothing would be done till we got it. This company was hired to install window hurricane protection at ***********************************************************. This included measuring, purchasing, and properly installing the product. The company did all of the above EXCEPT for the properly installing the product part. Nearly none of the coverings line up for installation. I originally contacted the covering company (*************************) and *********************** called me and informed me that they only sold the product and that Home Performance Alliance was the installer. We weren't aware of this problem until Hurricane *** in 2022. We went to install the product and couldn't. We had to drill new holes into our house to be able to get the coverings on due to the product not being properly installed. Myself and *********************** have tried to contact ******************* - Director of Operations at Home Performance Alliance. *********************** stated that she received a return email from ************** stating that he would look into it. I myself sent ************** several emails as well as called him directly 5 times. Each call that I placed I was directed to Mr. ****** voice mail where I left a detailed message of my issue, the fact that *********************** had contacted him and that he stated he would look into it, as well as my contact information including address, phone number, and email. to date I have received no reply from ************** or Home Performance Alliance. *********************** has reached out several times since as well and has received no further reply or update.Business Response

I am rejecting this response becauseYes the business is correct that I purchased the home from *************************. However the business is incorrect in saying I didnt contact *************, unless the information on his business card is incorrect (I tried to upload but site says to large of a file - Im not sure how to change that). The information on the business card which was supplied to me by *********************** ( representative of the company who supplied the hurricane protection coverings to Home Alliance) is ******************* - Director of Operations. www.MyHPA.com. *********************. If my email was not found it still doesn't explain why ************** didnt return any of my 4 phone calls which I made to him (which I know were correct because his switchboard operator directed to his extension). I left all information regarding my issue as well as all of my contact information and address with ************* on his voicemail. I Never received any response back. It also doesnt explain why ************** never got back to *********************** after her initial contact with him after he said he would look into the issue and update ***************. I talked directly to *************** at least 5 times after initial contact, because she was trying to get the problem resolved, and she told me she could not get any further response from ************* after many attempts. I am very mechanically inclined and I tried every possible scenario to try and get the coverings to match up with the mounting holes, and every attempt/combination failed. Its not rocket science. All I want is for the installation to be corrected so that I am protected in the event of another hurricane. I would think that a reputable company would AT LEAST return a phone call.

I am rejecting this response because:I think this response/solution COULD work. However, if/when this company comes to the house and finds that the panels dont align and work like they are supposed to, then what ? Will I then be charged exorbitant fees to get them properly installed ? Im not willing to pay $75 for them to tell them something I already know. If they come and are able to install these coverings I will gladly pay them the fee, drop this complaint and write a glowing review. But if/when they cant get the coverings attached I want assurance that they will correct the problem

I contracted with HPA to replace the builder grade front door with one from them. I selected the door pictured in the advertisement I received in a mailer. The advertised door had frosted glass the door installed is not. I was told it was the lighting in their adversitsment that made the door appear fosted when it was not (False Advertisement). I specifically communicated to the sales person that I did not want a transparent door. The contract was signed 6/22 the door installed in 8/22 was too large and had to be cut to fit. As they had removed my orginal door they left the new door advising that they would order a new door as cutting the door instllled voaided the warrenty. For 5 months I heard nothing from them, they were unresponsive to emails, voicemails and text messages. Finally the middle of 01/23 I went to their location; I waited 2.5 hours to speak with someone; I was told the door had to be ordered and that the glass on the door I ordered did not have a frosted option. I told them if they had responded to any of my previous attempts to reach them that I would not have had to drive all the way to their building. No status updates, I saw a rep from HPA at a home show and told her of my issues she took my informtion, said she would have someone call me. I received a call the next day 3/13/23; was told they had the door and would schedule install. I asked if they had the door why had no one contacted me, the new door was installed 3/23. There was significant damage to the frame and exterior I only paid half the remaining balance given my previous experiance. To date the damage was fixed, I am still awaiting ************** finish I sent a text 5/23 asking for status and received no response. It has been a year since the first door was installed and the job is still not finished. UNACCEPTABLE!Business Response

My name is ***************************. I was looking for estimates to have all windows and doors replaced in a condo that I ***************** came out the salesman. Gave me quote for the job. I got a couple more estitmates. But, I heard from other companies don't hire those people. So, I went with HPA. I found out the salesman had lied to me about alot of thing. First, i applied for the ****** **************** gives home owners for doing upgrade on windows and doors. That made my final desicon to get it done. so, I signed the contract. 2 weeks later I got a letter from the State that the ****** i only available to SFR not condos. So i was very upset. My husband just died I at that time very fragile emotioally. ******* was a supervisor at HPA. At that time I wanted to stop the contract because I was not going to get that ****** to help me pay. that debt. I told the salesman and ******* and his supervisor. That I was declined because I live in a condo, I am not eliable for that grant.I wanted out of that contract because *** lied, he knew t was going be elibable not. I told the company that I cannot afford this I am on widows benefits and SSDI.I surley cannot afford to pay ****** for the project. we were on a 3 way call. One of the supervisor told me you signed the contract, yes I did but under false pretext.. I said they could not force me to have it done he saud Yes we can make you get them. But you will need a lawyer.They offered me ******** discount to help with ****** That I would now not be getting, They came over with a new contract for me to sign. I signed it. Few y days later the check came in the mail. I didn't deposit it because the job was not done. Today the doors are not competed. I have called them numberous times. Home Performance Alliance (HPA) completed a roofing project on 7-22-23 but did not complete all work stated on contract **** ******** ******* In addition, project was started with HPA stating grant from My Safe Florida was approved for $10k. The grant is still active but pending. Also signed a voucher for a cruise vacation for $100.00 have not received. Nor interested in cruise but salesperson used deceitful tactics to complete sale.
