      On December 8,2022 my AC unit started blowing hot air I did a internet search and find American air & heat they had very good reviews the receptionist was very nice and she told me that a service call would be $90 and she could have someone I today which I thought was very good because it was a emergency situation. My house was very hot The service technician arrived at 2:33 He immediately started talk about my electric vehicle 21 questions what kind of work do you do, very unprofessional.He arrived at 2:33 and departed at 3:40. The majority of the time he was here spent it talking to me. He wanted know how long in the military what did I do after military . It got really annoying, but I was trying to be nice to him .He finally told me that there was a part that I need. He came back with two plug-in canisters in his hand and said you only need one that was the problem.Wow you can plug them in and you charge me $600 for that .I think their fees were really excessive because I've never paid that much to repair my air conditioner and he only worked less than hour and most of the time he was talking to me so he didn't any tools very suspect believe that he didn't do any work at he went stray to the plug-in parts. I think he knew exactly what was wrong he didn't even have run diagnostic on my AC unit and because I didn't know how to fix it he over charged me. There's no way you can justify doing anything worth that price do . I think this is really unfair and they took a vantage of me. I tried to contact the company and let them know about this issue, but the supervisor kept being in a meeting and would not turn return my call my solution is they give me at least haft my money because I feel like this technician took a vantage of me and he did not do that much work. I'm United State Army Veteran and this is the way you treat veterans ,He new I real need my AC repair most companies

While our pricing might seem high, we were able to have your system cooling 1.5 hours after you called in with a request for service, your repair was protected with a 1 year warranty and your technician evaluated and inspected over 32 items on your system to confirm our diagnosis and repair.

      None the less, we always strive for clients to be satisfied and happy with the value they receive and we hate that we fell short for you there. In effort to show our desire to satisfy your concern, as well as to honor your service to our country as a veteran, we processed a 100% refund for all your repair we provided. This refund was processed 2/2/23.

      American Air and Heat sold me a new AC system in 2018 and installed it. The installation included upgrades for a UV light and coated/dipped evaporator ( inside air handler).

      Since the installation, American Air and Heat has replaced the evaporator three times for leak issues.

      My warranty expires next year and the evaporator replacement cost is >$1000.

      The most recent replacement occurred last month. But the replaced the evaporator with a non- coated version. I have asked for them to replace the one I have with the correct one and was told they would get back to me with an update on when they could get it, but recent calls and voicemails have not been returned.

      I would like the following to resolve this:

      1.) Find out why these evaporators keep failing and/or replace the entire AC system with an upgraded version.
      2.) use the correct parts when installing.
      3.) extend my warranty to 10 years.

      About three weeks ago, I have called this company American Air and Heat, inc based on their reviews to help me with my ac not cooling properly. They sent a first technician and he diagnosed my ac was good, pressure was also good but the dryer and valve had to be changed. He needed to send another tech and place an order the valve since it was under warranty he said it will take them 2 weeks to receive this part but I was only be responsible to pay the quoted option 2 OF $ 1007.00 wich they have a financing company that can help with this (I applied and got approved for $3500.00) He also made me pay for the visit $90.00 and offered a package for $189.00 that was supposed to cover 3 calls and maintenance for a year. All this was paid up front. Yesterday they came back and technician number three could not fix it either. They sent a technician number 4 today and he did not fix it but gave a new quote for $2400.00 after collecting $1400.00 already without fixing anything. I need resolution please. Still with the ac broken.

      This matter has been resolved with the client as of the phone call on 9/21/22. All notes and records show that this was resolved weeks ago. We have left 2 voicemails on 10/7/22, following up to ensure their concern has been satisfied. They have not returned our call.

      I have asked for a zero balance letter stating that we do not owe anything to their business and a disclosure of their repairs and fees. I was sent a bunch of very confusing open invoices but one charged to my loan card for $1400.00 also whatever was paid before all of this happened. Charged to my husband's cards one for $189.00 for a membership and $90.00 for a first time visit. I am concerned that they have not sent me the zero balance summary . Later payments on undisclosed invoices can arise.

      They finally sent the clear invoice after speaking with Ryan over the phone and charges where corrected for the repairs. He sent me a zero balance invoice and they charged my loan for the correct amount. A nightmare came to an end thanks to BBB.
