Im 67, I can tell you I have bought all the major chains and local chains i ******* and ********. My bedroom set was the absolute worst. You rub your hand across the set face and it feels like acne under the finish. You cant walk past the dresser or night stands and rub your clothes or skin against because its not finished and the sides and top are not cleanly finished and it picks your clothes. My advice to anybody I know in person or on social media is to stay away customer service is like crossing the **** and your told Ill transfer you, they transfer you and you have told your story 5 times and when you call to check on why you got no call they tell you their are no notes in their system. They took my ***** like a thief.Rooms To Go

Poor Customer service. No follow ups, very unpersonalized service/help... I've called twice, and I've even contacted customer care chat. All the times, the same answer no status, need to follow up with parts with the promise of a return call. I have yet to receive a return call. I've spent the majority of my working career(40+ years) in logistics, and there's always an answer. I just don't understand how a part(wiring harness) can't be available, when it(as the repair tech said) is so frequently an issue! I'm tired of the covid excuse for everything, as well. I'm tired of nobody carrying, as it's obvious that it's not their furniture! To make matters worse, the power recliner had an obvious short in the wire(I could push a spot and it would work), but the repair tech removed something making it not work at all! Just tired of poor customer service!Rooms To Go

I ordered a dining room set and a livingroom set in 2022. I love the dining room and the sectional, but the Ottoman came broken. The livingroom set was ordered in April 2022 and delivered in July 2022. The delivery men pushed it up against the couch and took pictures. After they left was when I realized the Ottoman was broken. I called less than an hour after they left. They ordered a new one and tried to deliver it in September 2022, but that one was also broken. They sent a technician out in September 2022, and he ordered new hinges. The "hinges" arrived in January 2023. At least the messages we received said hinges. It turns out, there were no hinges but 3 sets of hydrolics that don't even fit the Ottoman. He looked it over and determined that the base of the Ottoman is actually broken, and the Ottoman requires a full overhaul including reupholstery. Thankfully, there are tons of pictures showing damage from the start. If it takes months again for a repair or replacement, it will have been over a year since I placed the order. This isn't a cheap Ottoman. I should have a functioning piece of furniture. Their customer care and service alone has ensured the loss of this customer.Rooms To Go

Nice furniture, but they are so inconsistent. No one has the same information for your order. I ordered a living room set one time and ended up with all these different order numbers. I had a warranty replacement and the cost I was given has changed and it increased. This is the very last time I will ever buy from Rooms to go unless they get their accounting system streamlinedRooms To Go

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any misunderstandings they may have had regarding their purchase.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturer’s defects as stated on the terms of sale located on their purchase receipt. This expired as of 8.27.22. They purchased an extended service plan powered by Fortegra. Under the terms of this contract, the customer was authorized a reselection of their furniture due to the ordered parts were no longer available to ship from the vendor.
With respect to their situation, reselection is for a different set equal in value. If greater, the customer is responsible for the difference in price. The customer has already reselected. As far as accounting. Rooms To Go has no jurisdiction regarding financing. The customer chose to finance the furniture through Acceptance Now (RAC). They are a rent to own agency. Any billing or finance inquiries would need to be directed to RAC.

I am writing this review with a sense of urgency and alarm to warn other potential customers about the unacceptable and unethical business practices of Rooms to Go and Fortegra. My experience with these companies has been nothing but a nightmare. Before writing my review and filing complaints, I have waited almost two months for them to resolve it. After purchasing a living room set from Rooms to Go Colony Branch and buying their extended warranty program -which I was told would cover everything-, I was shocked to find that the springs in my loveseat popped out and sofa’s became loose after just 1.5 years. When I contacted Rooms to go, they want me to contact Fortega first. When I reached Fortegra to make a claim, they denied coverage, claiming that it was not the manufacturer's fault based on Rooms to Go technician’s report. I paid over $2,200 for the set and the extended warranty, which turned out to be completely worthless. Spring is an essential component of any seat and should be covered under the warranty contract or by the manufacturer. I am now left with a living room set that I cannot use and sit and an extended warranty that is essentially useless. We are not able to invite any guests to our house, because we have no sofa or loveseat one feels safe sitting on. This is not just a matter of poor customer service or a bad purchase. It is a serious issue and I am filing complaints with the the Office of the Attorney General of Texas and the Texas Department of Insurance. If there is any piece of consumer rights in this Country, I am sure that someone will take this matter seriously.Rooms To Go

I had the worst experience with them I bought 5,317.11 that was supposed to be delivered on September 22nd in fort Myers . They did deliver my bed dresser mirror the sofa was missing a piece so they couldn’t deliver, the guy that came to install everything said that I should call rooms to go to reschedule the day of installation because they didn’t have the piece . I cancelled the order. They charged me in October an amount of 366 when I called and said why ??? They didn’t have an answer and said they just forgot to charge that the day I came in to the store ( which is not legal ) I disputed .in December I was charge 269 I disputed and closed account was not closed . I see the same amount. Again 269 . This has been a nightmare !!! Don’t buy with rooms to go !! I have 12 credit cards and never had this problem before with any!Rooms To Go

I ordered a set of pictures titled waterfall. The frame on the website is a platinum color and with a graduating edge. What they sent me was framed in a bronze brown! With a singular edge! I was very upset! The room I wanted t hem for is white and silver /gray decor. I was so hurt. They were sent directly from the vendor. Rooms to go should check ANYTHING that comes under their name. I did not return them because they were charged with affirm and I did not want to have no product and still pay because I suspect transactions like this don't relay information right away so I still have them and have to pay. They were 179.99 for the pair and without the right frame they are worth abt 19.99 each to me. I will never trust them to order again.Rooms To Go

While living in ******* I furnished 80% of my home with Rooms 2 Go furniture. The quality and service has always been great until my last purchase. I moved up north and while visiting Georgia I decided to purchase a couch. The delivery fee was almost $300 since it was outside of Georgia and I accepted that because of my history with buying furniture with them. The couch was to be delivery Jan 6. On this day I followed their delivery track which shows your delivery stop and the current stop which they are at. When it notified me that they were approaching my house I looked outside and saw the truck in the back of the house. I went to the front door to greet them only to see the truck passing my house (this was also caught with my ring camera). They never got out the truck or knocked on the door. I called customer service that day twice to understand what had happened and when my couch would be delivered. Both times the rep said they would try to contact the delivery company and call me back. I never received a call. About a week later I called again and was told the couch had been returned back to the warehouse and would take 2 weeks to set up re-delivery and that someone would call to set it up. Over 2 weeks went by and I never got a call. I reached out again and was told that someone should have called me back to reschedule. The rep said they would add my item to be picked up for the next pickup and someone would contact me to confirm the delivery date. The pickup date turned out to be the delivery date. They made me the last stop and arrived after 5pm. When they arrived they were told the couch was to go to the 4th floor. They quickly said since it was only two of them, they would not be able to get the couch to the 4th floor. A friend was over my house at the time and he ended up offering to assist. Only then did they attempt to delivery the couch. Finally my couch was delivered. I don't think I will purchase from Rooms 2 Go after this experience.Rooms To Go

DO NOT USE 0% FINANCING!!! The 0% is falsely represented. I pay 100$ monthly to Synchrony for my RTG furniture but only have to pay 63$. I paid February payment on Dec 31 and Jan payment on Dec 18. I was charged a 30$ late fee on Feb 2 and payment was marked paid on Feb 3 ( but paid online on Dec 31. ) I spoke with representative who said they don’t take prepayment. So now my account starts accruing interest instead of being at 0%. I owe 3810.00 plus now 30$ late fee. She said payment must be made between the 11th and 2nd of each month to count for the following month. That is not in the contract. Mind you I ordered the furniture in July. It came broken so I sent it back. In September it came smashed again. They told me to keep it and I would get new furniture quicker. I refused. Come to find out had I kept it I would not have been able to return it! Finally in September I got my furniture. NEVER AGAIN will I buy RTG! Or use Synchrony credit!Rooms To Go
