My 90 year old mother purchased a sofa sleeper just under a year ago, after about 3 month we noticed a latch underneath the left leg of the sofa came loose. We contacted the warranty company Guardian and it took 3 month and a BBB reviews to get them to respond, again, let me reiterate, the day we posted a complaint against Guardian we received a call the same evening. After that call we were given a order number to call Rooms To Go for an on-site repair. After contacting Rooms To Go, and appointment day was schedule three weeks out, January 31, 2023.Technician came on site looked at the sofa sleeper an informed us that Sofa will need to be repair at the shop. He stated that we should receive a call within 4 to 5 business days. it is now the 11th of February and we still haven't received a call from anyone from Room To Go. Further more how is it that a new sofa sleeper was sold to a 90 year old senior in a defective condition?Dear customers, take my word, whatever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY FURNITURE from this company. Run far away from this place. I bought my daughters bed in jan. They delivered the wrong piece twice. Its been a month no bed and they tell me it will be up to 10 more days to refund almost $1500. Everyone says the same thing. I don't know what to tell you. But they know what to tell you when they take your money. It is beyond me how insensitive staff becomes after sale. I left a good review only to get burned like others. Unless you want to see just how far you can be pushed, DON'T BE ME!!!!! Zero stars is really more accurate.Rooms To Go

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience they may have experienced.
At present, our records reflect the store authorized and generated a return for the bedroom furniture. It was picked up on 2.09.23. All refunds take up to 21 business days to process back to the form of payment used at the point of sale and 1-2 billing cycles to show on their credit card statement. Unfortunately, we do not have any jurisdiction once funds have been sent out.

Bought an outdoor furniture set in early January. Was told that one swivel chair would not be available until Early March. Just received a call telling us that chair would not be available until May 31rst. Don't buy from these people unless they have everything you want in hand and ready for delivery immediately.Rooms To Go

1 starSarasota Rooms to Go. Rude customer service. They delivered my dresser with joints about a half inch apart. They will send a new one hopefully in acceptable condition on my time. Another day waiting and hoping. No compensation for my time and aggravation. Tried to call upper management and maybe they’ll call us back. Also the dresser is 3.5 inches shorter than they document. I hope upper management will read this. This is at least a bbb complaint. If not a class action lawsuit.Review fromTomma B

Bought a couch and loveseat in early Sept 2020 - couldn't get it delivered until late Dec 2020. I have a bad back so I specifically asked if the insurance covered degradation of the foam in the seats - this would be my 3rd couch since I moved in Dec 2018 because of that issue. I was told by my sales guy, JULIUS MASON III that yes it was covered , in fact everything was covered, even if you dog rips or stains it (which is also not covered). I tried to file a claim with the insurance multiple time with no avail - I was told that it has to be a 1 time event so degradation does count nor does scratches from a cat. I called customer service they told me that it should be covered because that would be a manufacture's defect and that they would need to send someone out. I have tried to get someone out multiple time and "there isn't one available in my area when they try to assign it" - then , this is not covered , you need to send us a picture (how do you photograph that?) Not sure how that is my problem. They didn't have a problem selling it to me or delivering it to me or taking my money for teh insurance that is worthless. . If they can't get someone out to inspect it, they need to send me a new couch!Rooms To Go

We are in receipt of this review.
Rooms To Go offers a 1-year warranty against manufacturers defects as stated on the terms located on the customers purchase receipt. This expired as of 12.24.21. Our customer purchased the extended service plan powered by Guardian. Their guidelines are clearly outlined under the website referenced under said invoice for customers to review.
With respect to their situation, we have reviewed their account in its entirety. Since the receipt of the furniture, we have no record of any verbal or written communication regarding any issue until 1.03.23. Unfortunately,service approval is needed from Guardian in order to evaluate the furniture. However,if there are no technicians in a specific or remote area, pictures are requested in order to view the scope of the expressed situation and make a determination. That is all done through Guardian as RTG warranty expired as stated above.
Although we sympathize with their concerns, please understand we are abiding by the guidelines within the contract the customer agreed to at point of sale.
On behalf of Rooms To Go, we apologize for being unable to pursue any action due to the reasons explained above.

1 starI Purchased patio furniture April 2021 which included a fire pit. The base of the fire pit is literally falling apart. I am paying off the set using Rooms to Go finance plan.II have 3 more years to pay off for furniture that is falling apart. I called customer service and was told, so sad, too bad. Bought a living room set in July. Delivery was fairly prompt and the furniture is ok although not all that comfortable. Got the idea to order an extra sofa cushion so I could convert the chaise sofa to a regular sofa when I need to save space. My check was cashed in August. I started calling at 6 weeks & was told the fabric was on backorder and it could take up to 90 days. Long story short, I got fed up with getting the runaround the 1st week of January and told them just forget it and give me a refund. They said it would take 7-21 days for me to receive my refund. A month has now passed and today they tell me the parts dept "processed" my refund and I should receive my check in "7-21 days". I have a Rooms To Go Account and I have the need, desire, and spending power to buy more furnishings for my home, but I guarantee it will not be at RTG. Shop elsewhere!!Rooms To Go

On behalf of Rooms To Go, please express our apologies to our customer for any inconvenience experienced.
We have reviewed the account in its entirety. Our records reflect the customer inquired about ordering an additional pillow for their living room furniture. Information and instructions were provided to our customer.Our parts department receives the check and order form and sends the check to our accounting office to verify and process. Once done, notice is sent to our parts department to place the order. Because we are unable to house parts for every piece of furniture we carry, it is ordered from the manufacturer.
Please understand the time period given by the vendor is an approximation of ****** days. Parts are sent as soon as they are available or manufactured.However, due to unforeseen circumstances out of our control, there may be delays in the shipment due to supply chain issues.
With respect to their situation, we have been made aware the customer requested to cancel the part order for a refund of monies paid. The parts manager submitted the refund request to our accounting department and a check will be sent to the customer directly.

Rooms to go practices false advertisements. All 5 piece bedroom sets show a bed, dresser with mirror and night stand. Try to purchase the advertised 5 piece bedroom set and you get a shuck and jive that the night stand is extra. Smoke and mirrors, bait and switch.Rooms To Go

In regards to our customers inquiry, we have reviewed the information with our local showrooms. We currently do not have any 5-pcs bedroom packages that include a nightstand. The package consists of a 3-pcs bed, dresser and mirror. The 7-pcs bedroom package includes the 3-pcs bed,dresser, mirror and 2 nightstands. Any additional pieces to any package are considered a la cart and are priced accordingly.
If the customer has a current advertisement showing otherwise they can send you, our office would be happy to review further.
Although we sympathize with their concerns, we regret we would be unable to provide special pricing for additional pieces to a set package.

Avoid buying from this company! We bout a bed frame king sleigh bed. They damaged it putting it together and will bring out a new one but because we have an adjustable bed the frame moves all over the place because it it so light. Most thier furniture is press board and has no weight to it. They would not refund our money and claim they do not refund merchandise so be VERY sure of the purchase before it is delivered! We gave up a California king solid heavy frame for this but will try to make the one we had work and put the replacement frame coming this next week in the shed. Be cautious what you buy!Rooms To Go

We bought a bed, adjustable bed frame and accessories this past weekend. Today they delivered. My husband called them right after to explain that the bed was too high for his orthopedic problems and requested they let us return the adjustable frame. They refused even though they had only delivered it 2 hours before. They refused to do anything to help. Horrible customer service. I won't shop there again, at least without an attorneyRooms To Go

With respect to their situation, our office believes a reselection to different kind of foundation for the mattress would resolve the issue the customer currently has. The company did call, after my initial comment, to attempt to provide satisfactory service. I appreciate their efforts. I still say that the consumer needs to be aware of all restrictions and agreements because in the excitement of a purchase or sale, either party may "forget" to ask or the sales person forget to specify all details during the purchasing process. The buyer needs to take the time needed to review all paperwork prior to signing documents. Don't just sign after the sales person tells you what you are signing for. Read it.
