In late March our 2014 Ford F150 work truck was taken to Auto Xperts for repair of intermittent stalling while stopped at redlights and idling. At no time did my son or I discuss the air-conditioning, “cooling fans running continuously per their diagnosis” as we were not aware of it. I provided the warranty company’s name and number for the stalling issue, and received a phone call back from “***” that the repair (based on their incorrect diagnosis) was not covered. After four days without a work truck, we picked it up and the next day it stalled out again and continues to do so intermittently. Auto Xperts charged for unnecessary incorrect repair work of removing and lubricating an ignition lock per their invoice, neglected in properly diagnosing the problem, failed to perform the necessary repairs, and placed us on the road with the assurance it was repaired. “***” argued with me, was extremely rude and unprofessional and stated, "we drove it down the road," implying it was repaired and did not stall. Auto Xperts had a duty of care to ensure the repair was done correctly and perform those repairs competently. I would not return the truck due to their unprofessionalism, and the inability to diagnose and repair a stalling issue that we already paid $684.13 to repair. The Ford F150 truck was brought in for intermittent stalling, and we picked it up from Auto Xperts in need of repair for intermittent stalling, with a loss of $684.13.

      Good afternoon,

On 4/2/25 *** ****** was sent over a digital estimate and was advised her warranty company would not cover the repairs needed.  At that time she provided an online authorization for repairs with a signature.

There are several texting communications between *** ****** and the service writer of what was going on and what was needed.

After being aware there was still an issue we have tried to reschedule her several times to no avail.  We are always told that he has to use it for work and he can not leave it for us to figure out what is going on with any further concerns.

Management is aware of the situation.

I did not receive an online authorization; and there were no text messages authorizing the work.  There was a phone call to *** where I gave him the warranty information on the truck.  If they have an online authorization and text messages, then they need to provide them.  They told me to bring it back in, why would we bring it back in to a place that misdiagnosed it to start with, made an unnecessary repair, and put us on the road. When we called the next day about it stalling, we were told to bring it back; and when I picked up my daughter's car, I was told it was fixed that they drove it down the road and we didn't bring it back.  That was one phone call. Again, no one is going to take a vehicle back to a repair shop that disagnosed it incorrectly, made incorrect unnecessary repairs. We do not have money to throw in the wind to them and I am not paying for their guesswork.

I apologize for the assumption that we did unauthorized work.  However we sent a text message link of the estimate of issues found on the vehicle to the phone number provided.  Please see attached that the customers approved the work in the link which then notified us and we ordered parts and did the work they approved.  Our links are very clear on approve or deny.  This customer came in very irate and started hitting his hands on our counter and reaching over the counter while pointing his finger and yelling at my employees.  Regardless of his actions at the shop at time of pickup here is the proof that the work we suggested was clicked approved by the customer.  Also the jobs were all separated so there would be no way for them to say they thought it was just this part.  There were 4 different approvals that needed to be clicked by them.  Any questions please reach out to me, my email is ***************************

I also wanted to let you know that we record all phone calls at all of our shops.  We pulled the record of the customers phone number and have all calls to and from the customer which included us telling him the valve covers were not covered under warranty and he refused to do them then called back the later and told ****** (my service advisor) to go ahead and get it all done including the valve cover.  There is also a recording of how hostile the customer was with ****** on the phone and very threatening to him which included many curse words and telling him that he was coming up there to handle him.  If you want the recordings please let me know.

Look at the reviews for this place and thought they were a great company. I took my wife’s car there because it was running rough. Initially they took a look at it and say it was one thing, replaced that. Then they say it was something else. Replaced those parts and now they say it something else. (Likely). Already spent $1900 with them. They are saying the new parts and labor will be $2400. I ask them can they give us at least a discount for having our car for a week and not fixing the initial problem. They turned me down.. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. Now I’m out $1900 and car is worse than when I bought it in. I want my money back because they didn’t fix the problem, they made it worse.
