Wow. So surprised. They canceled the appointment because no staff showed up for work. Then they were very late with the rescheduled appointment. My husband paid $1200 to get his teeth cleaned and gum treatment. Insurance only covered $600. Extra services and costs. No one told him what services werent covered. I went and they were late as well. They have mandatory charges and services that their office insists on. $89 (no insurance covers) for an oral cancer screening. Ok so what does the hygienist do besides floss my teeth??? I left!!! Ask about mandatory services and non-covered expenses!!!

********************** your office staff is making a mockery of your practice attempting to send you to the likes of **************. I have been attempting to remedy a slight oversight by the billing ***** and I keep getting a cluster of a run around. Your billing **** billed 508$ but only sent to my insurance 293.00$ The phones dont work to resolve so I walked in and spoke with ****** who didnt understand why I needed a corrected FULL amount billed to my insurance evidently she never heard of a FSA account. I spoke with her over 5 weeks ago. I then enlisted the help of the insurance company and was told by ****** that she did in fact send a resubmitted bill into the insurance which is FALSE she then advised me to get a steady job with the insurance company since i was so good at pointing out her falsehoods. The only reason I can conjure up as to the reason for not submitting the the full amount to insurance is your people are running a scam and have no skills in dealing with a simple request to help YOUR PATIENTS and CLIENTS. Please help your business stay viable you are a very good dentist but the help leaves so much to be desired.

I wish I could give zero stars. The place is a complete scam. They wanted me to pay 1000-2000 to get my teeth cleaned with my insurance offering me a payment plan with a 26% interest rate. I went to another dentist (a good, profitable and high end) and they said I didnt need everything they were trying to give me. I was also pregnant and wanted to inject into my gums when it was not needed and take home a teeth tray when it was not needed. My teeth were fine after a cleaning which I got with my insurance for free. They also wouldnt release my records because they are neglectful and probably spiteful, I didnt use them:WORST dentist I have ever been to. *** hygienist tried to con me into buying the package and was forceful and had chipped front teeth, herself. Stay far away, they take advantage of poor and older people who have no where else to go because on ******** and *********

I need my $1200.00 plus back.I went in for partials covered by my insurance. The dentist with her professional experience told me I need 2 crowns, not covered .I have to pay out of pocket.one crown I know I needed and it sits fine.the other crown she told me that t needed that one tooth crowned because my partial will be clasped around it.to begin with she went to dental school not I. She gives me her professional advice. I took it.was it a business ploy to take my money?I believe so.She put the crown on,weeks later I had the partial clasped on.the TOOTH never stopped painting me.it hurts with the partial on and when I took it off.i go to bed in pain and woke up in pain!!I went back within weeks and told her she should never had advised me to put a crown on a loose tooth and she turned around and charged me for extracting this tooth also. All i am complaining about is she took my money, gave me a procedure that I was not supposed to get because I have many more teeth the partial can clasped on to,and now I need my money back!!$1300.00

Lawrenceville, GA location: I would give a zero if I could. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY EVER. I can't believe they are a legal business in Georgia. It's as close to fraud as you can get - they confirm your insurance benefits and then put a bill in front of you anyways knowing you don't owe for anything. I paid $732 in good faith up front for services received, not knowing what THEY knew, that CIGNA covered all of it 100%. They had to know this since my first new patient appointment was in MARCH. The $732 bill was presented on April 17th during a 2nd visit. I only just found out by *accident* that I also overpaid during my first March appointment, and THEY HAVE NEVER SAID ANYTHING to me. I only found on August 4 that I had an existing $100 "credit" on my account. WHAT?? Overcharging and intimidation are their business model. After you give them money they submit a bogus claim form which naturally gets denied, so they can say "your insurance has not processed the claim." They don't care if it ever processes, they already have your money. When forced to correct the situation, Coast will stonewall and try to intimidate you into believing it's "not their fault" or the error "never happened." I managed to stand my ground and have the claim resubmitted. They DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONES for any reason, they STONEWALL, OBFUSCATE, LIE and COVER UP. Their "Quality Assurance" is a joke and smokescreen. I demanded a refund and was told to my face "I don't work for you" and repeatedly demeaned and intimidated. You have no choice but to go to the office to seek resolution and when you do you will be BULLIED and INTIMIDATED. I should have called the cops. I have filed a dispute with my HSA VISA for the original charges, if that is not successful I am getting a lawyer and suing for emotional distress, fraud and theft. And BTW, the dental work I received was sloppy and a reason by itself to never return.

St. Petersburg FL. I came in for a cleaning. I was presented with an $800+ treatment plan and was told in order to get treated I needed this plan. I said I didn’t have the money so they told me to get a loan. I called the next day to understand why i needed $530 mouth trays in order for treatment. The dental hygienist argued with me , so I spoke with some one else, and was told the mouth trays were RECOMMENDED but not required and to file a claim with the loan company in order to take the mouth trays off of my bill. After speaking with the loan company, I was told the billing adjuster at coast dental refuses to answer their calls and emails. Now $800 later all I have is toothpaste and mouthwash. Side note* - if you leave a bad review on other review platforms they’ll say they will make it right and the number they give you (patient quality assurance) is literally the scheduling line.

If not for having to leave 1 star i would leave no star..I have been with costal dental since at least 2010 with paradontal issues..They have not been the best provider in the land to do buisness with these last 2 years. My last 3 appointments from mid 2022 to present date have been canceled by there administration, With disreguards of letting me know that my app.had been canceled, thru e mail or text..as they make sure they send out msgs to confirm ones appointment time, date, and if one is keeping apointment or not.How convenient for them..Anyways, 3 lost days wages at a total of 800.00 dollars,is lost to lack of comm on canceled appointments by coast dental without informing me, The last appointment i had with costal at there gladiolus outlet,In Fl. on 7 16 23 at 1 pm the doors were locked with no notification to me of said closing..costal owes me 800.00 dollars in lost wages because of there lack of communication to me,Im sure i will never get that back..Coast dental are thieves,And should be closed down from doing practice nation wide..They truly dont give a F#$%% about ones oral health or well being, and the lack of there professionalism, towards there customers, that need excellent affordable dental care, has fallen off of there normal day to day expectancey. Please file the needed paper work to permanently close all costal dental outlets and practices from further operations,And stop coast dental from continuing to rip people off.. I dont have the time or the money to hire a lawyer and sue coast dental for my lost 800.00 dollars in wages..It wld be worth the money i lost ,to see coast dental closed permanently forever
