      They were great at taking our money but we went through months and months of hoops to try to get storm compensation. They switched our desk adjuster at least 6 times and every time they had NO information about our clam and we had to start over time and time again.. Still never getting fully compensated for our losses although we did get a portion. The real problem is putting in a claim and getting it paid.

      My premium increased from $1750.00 to $3,050. Few months ago, I spoke with one of the representatives in the Boca, FL office. He ensured the premium rate will drop if not, they will let me know. It’s September and I received a letter my bill is 3,050.00. No details why the rate increased. This leaves insufficient funds in my escrow account to cover both property taxes and homeowners insurance. I should have went with my gut instinct.

      0 star review. We paid and continue to pay this company premium home insurance rates and they refuse to pay for repairs for major damage down to my my home by hurricane Ian. This company is criminal. I would have been better off not having any insurance. Now hurricane idalia is hitting us and we have water leaks in the ceiling. This could have been prevented if the American integrity did the right thing. Shame on this company. Don’t trust them with your insurance.

      I filed a claim with this company day after Hurricane *** and fighting to get my damages paid out. Had hire a Public Adjuster and attorney to get my money owed. Still waiting till this day and now in another hurricane with tarp on my roof still. My HOA is calling me weekly and I follow up with my Adjuster and attorney weekly. Never in my life would think an insurance company would do this when sent 3 of there inspectors and engineer out to my house. I have sent all my quotes with repairs to fix my house but still nothing back. Why pay insurance when the company will not pay out when claim is filed. I worked in the insurance business for 10 years and this company is horrible. I cant wait till this claim is finished and will be looking for a new company.

      How is AI rated A+ here? Writing this review on behalf of my parents, as I am assisting them and their attorney with their litigation against AI. AI and its representatives is the absolute worst of the worst. MASSIVELY under-paid my parents' Hurricane *** claim. No callbacks, no response to emails. We have sent credible quotes from credible contractors, but AI has completely disregarded all of them. My parents WILL get what they deserve in the end. DO NOT do business of any kind with this company. -***************, **

      I am insured with AI, going on second year, no claims with them or any other insurance company over the 15 years I have owed a home. I read through a lot of the reviews here, and one thing I noticed is how many people complained about roof damage after *** and that they wanted a new roof. Well damage can be fixed, several of my neighbors had damaged areas fixed after ***. The problem is roofing contractors want to make money on a whole roof replacement, not repairing damaged areas, so they tell you you need a new roof. The fact that AI took the time to respond to all the 1-star the complaints is good to see. What I did notice with AI is they made things clear in my policy, for example replacement cost versus actual cash value for household intems. I had Peoples Trust before and I never realized it was an actual cash value policy until I got AI and went back and looked.

      In 2019-2020 my premium was $1,669. In 2020-2021 my premium was $2,076 In 2021-2022 my premium was $2,892 In 2022-2023 my premium was $4,315 My premium for 2023 -2024 $6,131 Nothing has changed except the price of the premium!

      Where do we begin. Well, we filed our claim promptly right after Hurricane Ian. The first thing we requested was our roof be tarped. The two men that came here basically "scotch taped" little bits of our roof (also not covering several others) and quickly left in less than 30 minutes. Next they sent an adjuster who was here maybe an hour (not thorough!). Then weeks later we were trying to get an update for our settlement. Ignored by the person handling our claim *(both phone and email). Then, I happen to open up my claim and it was settled for a ridiculous amount of money (think the so called "tarping men" were given $450!). When we tried to contact the new person assigned to our claim he basically said that was it. We hired Trupoint and they took over for us. They spent almost 9 hours here, in my home, thoroughly inspecting our home. Roof damage, moisture in all parts of the house, you name it! Over $90K in damage. I have developed serious upper respiratory issues since Ian and under a pulmonologist and allergist care. At this point, my public adjuster states they submitted all the paperwork and you keep ignoring them. I filed with the State and you should of responded within 20 days in receipt of letter or email. My info was sent. It is inhumane to think that you low-balled me and I still am living in a home with damage.

      We contacted our Public Adjuster today and they are STILL waiting on your communicating with them and mediating and bringing this claim to a resolution. .We want mediation from the State immediately.
