This business has been promising to fix our damaged carport and overhang for approximately. 5 months, they have not delivered and they have not even pulled the permit. We asked for a refund and we have not received it yet. This company is not trustworthy.. they also do not return phone calls and have not followed up with us at all.

We have been in contact with the company many times over the last 5 or 6 months since our roof was installed. We have been ignored or continually put off. The company has acknowledged that the roof has some area that were poorly/incorrectly installed. We have been told since November it would be addressed the following week, but it is still not done in April. We also made an agreement for ***** siding be replaced I believe this was done in December or January and it is still not completed. I have multiple emails and text messages that show our communications.

Brief overview: I signed a roofing contract after hurricane in Nov. And provided a $9,000 deposit. After issues with the solar ****************** I notified the roofing company that I no longer wanted to proceed with the work. Long story short, the company is refusing to return any money and the manager (****) threatened to go over to my property with his guys to "sort it out" multiple times on the call. The police were notified. No work was performed and they were not scheduled yet for work to be performed. No permit nor NOC was filed as well. It was the end of Dec when the company was notified that they did not want to proceed with the work. I also personally sent a demand letter to the address I found. One of them reached the right address and they have been notified, but I accidentally put the wrong owner on there because I confused "Legacy Roofing" with "Legacy Roofing on the West Coast". Regardless they have been notified and they are aware--notified via phone, text, email, and server. I do have receipts of the letter being delivered by a process server. Owner (****) last called me on Thursday or Friday again refusing to return the deposit, called me a "lunatic" and overall had an extremely heated & disrespectful conversation. I'm not going to have any further conversations with anyone associated with this company and I will be calling the police if anyone shows up to my home. I am a senior and have serious health issues and cannot handle this stress anymore. My wife almost went to the hospital after the last conversation with **** (owner). This is a violation of law: HB 939. Florida's law allows for 10 days or until the work starts to cancel a contract. A consumer's rights are also supposed to be stated in the contract regarding cancelation (they are not) which is a separate fine.

Mr Fuch is telling only part of the story.

He is correct we did sign a contract in November. He told us the reason for cancelling the contract was because he had a bad feeling about our company. When asked why he  stated " I don't know I just have a feeling" He states we have done no work. This is not true. We did file for a permit and did not complete the task. The reason is once the county approves a permit it is only good for a certain period of time, same as the **** Then there a charges to pay to extend the permit. The client never claimed or stated in our two discussions there were warranty issues with the solar. In fact, I believe the solar was installed by ****** and the permit recently pulled is not by SunRun. I personally have a solar contract with ****** and they do not allow other companies to remove the solar without voiding warranty.

In closing, this client came to us as a secondary contract. He told our salesman he had to cancel another contract before signing our contract which was a lower price than the last. My guess is while searching for solar companies to remove his solar the client received a better package price. We have made the client an offer to refund his entire deposit. It is up to the client now. We have not broken contract or any laws pertaining to this client. If he decides he wants to go to court we will move forward accordingly.
